Welcome to The Atelier where we workshop your work life, brought to you by Talent Atelier, the Executive Search business where we essentially act as a dating agency between businesses and people. Our day job is placing the best C-Suite people into the creative industries, but by night (and often in the afternoon) we record this podcast and focus each episode on the questions we’re asked most frequently. From how to be a leader to networking your way around the room, Rachel and Jo are here along with a few special guests to help navigate your way.
- 28 - Neurodiversity: Founder + Creative Director, Taylor Handsley "I was diagnosed when I was 32"
This episode is all about neurodiversity and always with special subjects, Rachel and Jo have a friend joining them. If you look Taylor Handsley up on LinkedIn, she’ll tell you she’s a mom and she’s autistic but alongside that she was one of the original team at Refinery29 in New York, worked for Amazon in London as Head of Content on their Private Labels before moving to Amsterdam with Edelman and Hey Honey. She’s a guru of all things content and social and is now expanding her own business, Tailored the Agency. Having been diagnosed in her 30’s, Taylor talks us through her experience working within the creative world and how life would be so much easier if we all came with a crib sheet. She also gives some pointers about how to interview neurodiverse people and make the world a more harmonious place. We think we covered everything but if you have any more questions for Rachel and Jo, then please do reach out on podcast@talentatelier.com, or browse our growing archive of articles on www.talentatelier.com.
