Our new distribution Channel. Classic Radio Theater features great radio programs that warmed the hearts of millions for the better part of the 20th century. Host Wyatt Cox brings the best of radio classics back to life with both the passion of a long time (as in more than half a century) fan and the heart of a forty year news man. But more than just “playing the hits”, Wyatt supplements the first hour of each day’s show with historical information on the day and date in history including audio that takes you back to World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, LBJ. It’s a true slice of life from not just radio’s past, but America’s past.
Wyatt produces 21 hours a week of freshly minted Classic Radio Theater presentations each week, and each day’s broadcast is timely and entertaining!

    First a look at the events of the day

    Mr. District Attorney starring Jay Jostyn, originally broadcast November 23, 1949, 75 years ago, The Case of Free Play. Marijuana dealers move into a nursery school.

    Followed by The Hall of Fantasy, originally broadcast November 23, 1953, 71 years ago, The Masks of Ashor.  A messenger from the netherworld, and a bargain declined. Jim Ameche stars.

    We follow that with Dragnet starring Jack Webb originally broadcast November 23, 1952, 72 years ago, The Big Guilt. A florist named Arthur McKinley has been found strangled to death in an alley. 

    Then Pat Novak for Hire starring Ben Morris, originally broadcast November 23, 1947, 77 years ago, The Lydia Reynolds Case.   Lydia Reynolds, a wealthy but insane young lady, hires Novak to be her bodyguard. 

    Finally, Claudia, originally broadcast November 23, 1948, 76 years ago.  More for Thanksgiving.

    Followed by The Harold Peary Show, originally broadcast November 22, 1950, 74 years ago, The Thanksgiving Play. Honest Harold is directing and starring in, "The Story Of Miles Standish, A Story Of Thanksgiving." 

    Then Father Knows Best starring Robert Young, originally broadcast November 22, 1951, 73 years ago, The Thanksgiving Prayer. A prayer written by Benjamin Franklin is the inspiration for the Anderson's Thanksgiving celebration. 

    Followed by Life with Luigi starring J Carrol Naish, originally broadcast November 22, 1949, 75 years ago,  Thanksgiving Celebration.   Pasquale has failed to invite Luigi for Thanksgiving dinner, so Luigi and his friend Danny decide to have a feast of their own.

    Finally Claudia, originally broadcast November 22, 1948, 76 years ago.  Checking on the Cow.  Out in the barn on a cold night.

Jack Benny visits o discuss the premiere of the picture Love Thy Neighbor with co-star Mary Martin.

    Followed by Lum and Abner, originally broadcast November 21, 1948, 76 years ago, Ezra Seestrunk's Cousin Rowena Has Thanksgiving Dinner With Lum.  Lum tries to impress Miss Rowena on Thanksgiving, with a mansion and servants. 

    We follow that with Jack Benny, originally broadcast November 21, 1943, 81 years ago, The Awful Turkey Dream. Jack buys a live turkey for Thanksgiving, then dreams that he's a turkey!

    Then The Great Gildersleeve starring Willard Waterman, originally broadcast November 21, 1951, 73 years ago, Inviting Thanksgiving Guests.  Who should be invited for dinner at Thanksgiving?
