The Hip Hop Advocates Show

Welcome back to the home of the real authentic Hip Hop heads!! This interview was in the works for quite a while, and we're excited to finally present Nutso and CeedaCuban. These brothers have been rocking on the underground scene since the 90's and continue to push the culture forward till this day. Our segments are in play which always brings up some amazing stories from our guests along with an exclusive Show n Prove performance by Nutso for his single "Nobody". Were back like we never left with Raze The Ratchet. You already know part two is where we turn it up a notch with our Bars with segment, an exclusive fire Show and Prove performance and we dive into the music catalog. Similar to part one, the stories Raze shares are epic and exclusive so strap on your seat belt for the ride.

We're back and honored to have in the building a Lower East Side legend Raze the Ratchet with us. When you talk about artist that have been around making noise for over 25 years best believe Raze is in that category. He came through and shared some amazing stories with recognizable legends he came up in the rap game with. From being signed to Loud Records, to being featured on Source Magazine Unsigned Hype edition, the music catalog speaks for itself representing NY in the most authentic way through his music. We had a great time with the segments Searching for and Hip Roulette, the stories are endless and filled with good laughs. Stay tuned for Part two!!

We pick up right were we left off in part one with Mr. Nueva Yol. His path to success is one of resilience and dedication that must be respected. There were no hand outs given to him, it all came from hard work. We are witnessing the beginning of a career that has the potential to be up there with some of the greats. As we love to do with our guests we got our trivia segment called Hip Hop Roulette. The laughs continue on and we hope you enjoy.

Be prepared to piss in your pants on a few occasions with this very special episode featuring one of the funniest up and coming comics out of New York, Mr. Nueva Yol. You are going to get to know this brother in a new light, outside of the hilarious infamous sketch videos, which are too many to count that have gone viral, he recently started doing live stand up comedy shows all over the east coast from down in Florida all the way up to Boston. Find out how it all got started for him off of one Instagram post and becoming one of the most viral in the metropolitan area. He details the grind and persistence it took for him to get to where he is today and he's just getting started. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did kicking it with the man, the myth, the legend Mr. Nueva Yol.

One things for certain, Reno Rx keeps it a thousand from his music to the way he carries himself in the public eye. We salute this brother for pulling up to our show and sharing his journey. In this sequel to part one we get more in depth on his music catalog by reflecting on his older projects and work our way up to the present. We highlight a few of his hard hitting rhymes on our segment called, Bars with Reno Rx and he gives an exclusive performance of his upcoming single "Gordon Ramsey". As usual the conversations are too real to not recognize what's in front of your face, so we hope you enjoy!

We had the honor of hosting Reno Rx and one of his partners in music, J.Stylez, on this special episode. These are two top-notch producers/emcees coming together to collaborate on a project. We got some great stories lined up along with our segments so stay tuned till the end.

Part two is here and we start off this episode going straight to the Bars with Pyrex Porter. He blessed the Advocates stage with a new single that will be off of his next project coming soon and we bring it back and review his past projects. Be on the lookout for the next up out of Harlem, its Pyrex P's time to shine.

For this episode we have one of the best up and coming artist on the bill coming out Harlem who goes by the name Pyrex P. We touch on the music scene from the past to today that is known as one of the hot beds for artist to come out of in Hip Hop. Growing up around some well known artist motivated Pyrex P to pursue his dreams of one day being mentioned along side legends like Big L, Camron, Mase, and JR Writer to name a few. As always we had to ask who are his Top Five emcees that inspired him to rhyme and we put his Hip Hop history knowledge to the test with Hip Hop Roulette. Stay tuned for part two!

When part two comes around it's time to buckle up! We are back with the highly talented artist Mic Handz to continue where we left off from part one. This go around we get into the Bars with Mic Handz segment which from listening, you will see why he's been co-signed and worked with some of the illest emcees in the game ever. We get more in depth into his passion for fashion design and how he navigated himself through that aspect of the music industry to combine it with his music career. Mic Handz jumped on our stage and gave us a memorable performance for the Show N Prove segment. We get in depth on the creation of Hip Hop music, just overall a gem of an episode for any true fan of the genre. Make sure to go check out the catalog and stay tuned for more!

New week, new episode and were going to take ya to Brooklyn with this legend of the underground Hip Hop scene Mic Handz. This man is a true emcee in every form of the word from his stage presence to the music catalog he's put down and working with some very notable legends throughout his musical journey, it goes to show the level of artist Mic Handz is but the beauty of this interview is we go beyond the music because he is also involved in many different fields from his graphic design company to mental health awareness. This episode is mentally deep and enlightening to be a part of. You know we had to come with his top five and we went searching for Mic Handz as well which brought up some funny stories that you don't want to miss. Stay tuned for part two next week cause this is just the warm up.

Part two is here with our fellow Corona native Paranormal and we kick things off, bringing back some of his bars to see if he remembers the name of the song they are from. The Show N Prove stage was left ablaze after his performance of his single Kimba Dawn and he breaks down the meaning behind the title of the song. We got live footage at the Secret Pour in Brooklyn where Paranormal performed alongside the Certain Ones crew. Make sure ya check out the Album When Art Becomes Ugly on bandcamp. Lastly we want to say R.I.P. to a home town legend who lived and breathed Hip Hop Willie Stubz. We were just in the works of bringing him in for an interview before his untimely demise and we were saddened to hear the news of his passing. We will do our part and represent such a talented brother who inspired a whole hood. Rest easy Willie Stubz.

Paranormal is one of our first and biggest supporters when it comes to our show and it is an honor to have him back as he was also one of the first guests we ever had back in episode 10. We touch on everything he's been working on since. He recently released a project called When Art Becomes Ugly that is available on band camp. We run through our segments which are Paranormal's Top Five, we went Searching for Paranormal and we test his knowledge through our trivia game we call Hip Hop Roulette. When this brother is around the conversations get deep and descriptive so we hope you enjoy. Its The Advocates!!

The real is back and it don't get no realer than this! Beyah gets into the landscape of the Hip Hop scene in Delaware mentioning some of the artist that he's around and also making waves out there. He explains the definition of his name and where he got it from and what drives his creativity when it comes to his lyrics after we review some his lines on Bars with Beyah. Listening to his music you'll get a sense of the message he is trying to relay being more about teaching as oppose to most of the bragging that's done in todays rap. The Show N Prove performance is a memorable one in which he shares the stage with his little girl Camilla. An artist like Beyah is the reason why we do this, to show that there is great artist out there, it's just a matter of finding them and show casing them for our viewers to enjoy. Make sure to check out the GSWII album which we reviewed on this episode for the album of the week. This album is definitely a must listen along with a lot of the music in Beyah's catalog. Let's bring it back to the essence of being original because there are people in this game that misrepresent what this genre of Hip Hop originated from. It's the Advocates!!

A new week with a new guest and this time we are taking you down to Delaware. Beyah is a very humble individual that has found a way to translate his real life story into his music in a poetic way over some mesmerizing production. You'll get to know a lot about this brother through this interview but the story is deeper when you listen to the music he creates. We get to his top five rappers that gave him influence along with some honorable mentions that he listens too regularly. We came with the Hip Hop Roulette, our trivia segment to test our guests knowledge of the genre and Beyah was on his P's and Q's for it. For part two with Gonz we take it to our trivia game of Hip Hop Roulette to test his knowledge of the genre. We got Bars with Gonz to see how familiar he is with his lyrics and if he can identify the song they came from and soon after a live performance of his song "My Wrath" off of his EP album Time Capsule which we also recommend for the album of the week. We got more heat coming with this brother so be on the lookout. It's the Advocates!!

It's a new week and we have another great talent to present coming out of New Jersey and he goes by the name Gonz. This brother is an MC to the core and represents the Hip Hop culture the right way. Gonz gets into how he was captivated into wanting to become an artist himself from seeing and hearing some of the greats to then taking the steps to learn how to write his own music. We get into a healthy debate discussing todays standard of what's good and what's trash in Hip Hop music today. Gonz drops his top five Mc's and we went searching for him through out Jersey to tell us stories behind some of the ill pics we found. Stay tuned for next week when part two drops. This week we sit down with a fellow Hip Hop show host Deme D who runs the DagogetaTv channel on Youtube. On his channel he has multiple different shows that cover different aspects of the genre from the artist, to the fashion and even the DJ side of things. When he says he is Mr. everywhere and you never there, it is a statement that carries heavy and backed up tremendously from his work ethic. Spit Gemz is back in the house with the Advocates to tell his story. If you know about Spit Gemz's music catalog then you know he is not one to play with on the mic. If you want to mention some of the elite emcees that don't get mentioned enough in the mainstream then you have to throw him in that mix because he comes with the force of tsunami when he delivers rhymes. We got phenomenal stories covering the legends he's worked with in his music career when we went searching for Spit Gemz, some fun trivia questions and a live performance of the song "Stone Carrying Flask" off of his EP The Happiness of the Knife. Another Gem delivered!!

For this latest episode we took it back home to Corona with these two legendary brothers Neno who is the founder of Q Thoro Apparel and one of the rawest emcees out on the seen today Bottem Line. We start off the first half with Neno detailing how he was inspired by the late great Corona legend VON to start his brand the Q Thoro Apparel clothing line and we tapped into our segment Searching for Neno displaying some of the legends that have shown love to the brand. From Q Thoro we jump into an epic Show N Prove performance by Bottom Line and we sit down to get his story on his come up. We got the Top Five, we got Bars with and of course some great stories from BL. The energy in the room was positive and electric so please enjoy the show!!

This is the closing part of our interview with Cuban Link and it got crazy to say the least in a positive way. We played Hip Hop Roulette where we ask our guest a list of questions related to Hip Hop History. We did Bars with Cuban Link where we rhymed some of his classic bars and he had too guess what song it was from and we added a little bonus with some Big Pun rhymes as well. To close it all out we talked about his debut album that leaked 24K and what was the cause and much, much more. We appreciate having this legend on and look forward to what he has coming new for his fans.

Part two is here and the stories get deeper and more funnier. Cuban Link is a very animated person when he talks, which makes his stories very engaging when he describes a scenario. He goes into detail about working on the first song that introduced him to the world "Off the Books" with the Beatnuts and working with Puff Daddy writing the hook for the song "Señorita" off of Puff's debut album No Way Out. He even touches on meeting the late great Aaliyah before she became a superstar. On the searching for Cuban Link segment we brought him back to some positive memories of his underrated career. The legend Cuban Link came through to kick it with the Advocates and brought us all the way back to his beginnings of growing up as a kid in New York City in the 80's and 90's. If there is one thing to be said about this brother its that he is passionate about his friends and will stand up for what's right at no matter the cost. We were honored to sit down with this brother as he tells us endless unheard stories of him and his best friend Big Pun before the fame. This is just Part 1 of 3 so lock in cause it gets better as the Henny continues to flow.

Rick from the Rick H Show is in the building with the Advocates finally. This man wears a lot of hats as he produces, writes and directs multiple podcast shows. He is one of the funniest people we know in the podcast realm and continues to build on his legacy. Rick talks about how he got started in podcasting, how he stays inspired to keep going and how he motivates others like ourselves to keep pushing forward.

Were back for part two with the Reject Dreamer Artz to get in depth of his latest album release "Then I Met You". Artz touches on what inspired the title of the album and the unique sound that fulfills the project. He started a dope new Web series called ARTZ.Today on Youtube showing his journey touring through all the different towns around the globe that he's visited to perform in and talks about the experience of getting to know his fans on a more intimate level. The level that Artz takes his craft too has allowed him to work with known artist like Styles P, Ari Lennox, Trinidad James, Smoke DZA and the list goes on. As usual we had some great laughs and awesome stories on our segments and we get an exclusive performace for the Show N Prove.

The Home School Battalion is back in the building. On this episode we got Spit Gemz and Aye Wun stopping through to talk about a special project they are releasing titled Ninja Vanish. These brothers have been working together, creating music for over 10 years and this is their first full-length album together. We get a special performance from Aye Wun for our Show N Prove segment and then we get into Bars With Spit Gemz. Tune in for another classic episode with two of Queens best MC's.

It's time to run it back with our good friend Artz. If you caught the first interview we had with this brother and have continued to follow his progress since then you know that he is the ultimate hustler when it comes to the independent artist scene. From headlining some major events across the nation and even overseas to dropping some major heat since we were last together, this brother is putting in that work. It was great to hear what he's been up to since we were last together cause back then he was pushing the NFT's but he's since evolved from that as any great hustler would to new ventures. The head of the Reject Dreamers kicks a lot of game and provides guidance that all up and coming artist should sit down and listen to. Artz gives us his Top 5 cities he enjoyed most while touring and performing and gives us some funny stories of his experience. We had to grab our passports for one our segments we like to do Called Searching For Artz. Good times, good vibes as always!!

It's go time with one of the illest emcees to come out of Harlem JR Writer. For this half we hit JR with some of his classic lines off of his catalog to see if remembers the name of the song they were from on Bars with JR Writer. From there he hits the stage for our Show N Prove segment to perform an exclusive track for our audience to enjoy. Make sure to tune into Still Making History, the latest project from JR. JR Writer joins The Hip Hop Advocates to discuss what he's been up to since his days with the infamous Dipset crew. If you've been following JR throughout the years you'll notice that his hunger to be the best has not stopped and he is prepping to take over the Hip Hop scene once more with his brother Fred Money. We touch on the history that he's been a part of and the great things that are yet to come. This episode was a gem that speak for itself when it comes to the stories that were told and the laughs that were had.

We pick up where we left off last week and discuss Meeko's final scene as Mouse in the hit HBO Show Euphoria. He gets into the perks of being affiliated to such a big series but also the disadvantages that come with it and opens up on how he prepares for a role when he's given a script. We get the origin story of the name Meeko Gattuso which is surprising how it came about but also displays the power of words. If there is one thing you will get out of these conversations we've had with Meeko and his transparency to break down the film industry is, how bad do you really want it? To make it in this game you most definitely have to put that ground work in and be optimistic.

We are back picking up where we left off with Marc Reign, this is the Hip Hop Advocates and introducing our new mascot the Horseman. As you may already know were all about a good time and assuring our guests are a part of that. Marc kicks us off with some upcoming indie film projects he is going to be a part of dropping in 2023. We get into his activist role that he's heavily embedded in and what drove him to become a voice for the Latino community. The word he spreads is highly educational, filled with positivity to inspire not only Borinquens but the whole Spanish speaking community to get motivated to know their true history. The Show N Prove segment brings his message to light so make sure to soak in every line of it into your mental its a two for one special. Marc is a creative machine thats always constantly thinking of what the next move is to pull the trigger on and bring it to life. Get right, get inspired with this classic episode.

Get ready to laugh and be inspired by one of the hardest working artist out of NY in general, we got Marc Reigns in the building with us to tell everyone all about his journey in the career of just overall entertainment that's he's dedicated himself too. He studied mechanical engineering in college and in the middle of working towards a degree and already acquiring an associates degree he decided to take a chance in acting and signed up to be a theater major. He utilized his previous experiences and taught himself how to be self efficient in everything he needed to succeed. The amount of information Marc provides in this episode is not only educational but also inspirational as he talks about being dedicated and the sacrifices one needs to make in the world of film. Marc has been featured on the hit Tv shows Blue Blood and Law & Order just to name a few and a numerous amount of movie films. He lets us know in his Top Five who are the actors that he mostly looked up to growing up and developed him to be the type of person he strives to be today in the entertainment industry. The segment that follows, Searching for Marc Reigns takes him back down memory lane looking at some older pictures of his early acting days all the way through now. On this episode of The Hip Hop Advocates Show, we had the honor of sitting down with Actor Meeko Gattuso, who's been a part of some legendary films and shows. Meeko shares some great stories about his life that have led him to the path he's in today. From the streets dealing with the real-life dangers of being a kid growing up in New York City to becoming a man who wants to lead by example and give hope to everyone that he comes in contact with that you can succeed in changing your life around in a positive manner. As we continue on with Cassidy he shares his experience dealing with a life threatening car accident that put him in a coma for a couple of days and caused him to temporarily lose his memory after just beating an attempted murder case. After recovering he went back and completed his third and final album under Full Surface called "B.A.R.S." We did one of our favorite segments Bars With Cassidy and saw if he could remember the name of the songs on the bars that Erupt selected for him and he went beyond that and even rapped the classic verses all the way through. Right after that we get an exclusive Show N Prove Performance from Cassidy and he shows why he is still one of the nicest out today. We stumped him a little with our new segment called Hip Hop Roulette but as we all like to do as fans we learned something new today about our history. There's three recent projects he dropped in a 6 month time span titled Da Science, Da Formula and Da Wiseman that are filled with lyrics hooks and dope production. Off camera he played us some crazy unreleased joints that we are anticipating he drops sooner than later cause he's got some big hits coming. Bars is back in a major way as we have The Problem, The Hustla, a true MC to this beautiful thing we call Hip Hop. The Advocates got Cassidy in the building, and he's here to let everyone know that it's time to bring out the real. Cassidy takes us all the way back to the beginning from how he got his name to his first rap he ever wrote to what he's been up to these past few years and what's to come. He's giving up a lot of game on the industry and how to make it work on the independent route. If there is one thing we could take from the stories Cass mentioned is to live and enjoy the moments that you are in and dont get caught up in the negativity and discouraging situations that may arise. We got his top influences in music and we went Searching for Cassidy pulling up some old pictures for him to tell the story behind the lens. We are back with Fred Money to give you some more exclusive conversations. We kicked it off with the always fun segment, Bars with Fred Money and the Pausing was in full effect for it, but we broke down some bars from Fred's endless catalog of music. He jumped on that stage and performed an exclusive freestyle called "New Strain" produced by RISEONTHETRACK that you're only going to catch here on The Hip Hop Advocates Show. Album of the week is Fred's latest release, New Money, and he's got New Money 2 on the way, so be on the look out for it if you like to listen too dope production and non stop bars.

Harlem's own Fred Money is in the building with The Hip Hop Advocates. Those who know us will tell you we cater to the real MC's in the Hip Hop game and Fred Money is one of those elite Artist who's stood side by side with some our favorites like JR Writer, Cassidy, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and the list goes on. Another fun fact is he's younger brother to JR Writer who was a part of the Dipset movement in the early 2000's. Fred starts us of with how he got into the music game and how he fell in love with the art of creating rap music being around such a big movement at a young age. He learned the business side of the music industry early and was able to use to his advantage to start a career in the rap game. As always we had to get Fred's Top Five in line and he definitely did not disappoint with some of best to ever to do it on his list, R.I.P. Big L. We got some exclusive never before heard hip hop stories in stored that the listeners are going love and on top of that we Went Searching For Fred Money and he broke down each picture with what was happening at that moment. This episode we have a creative individual Anthony Basso from Cloudy Rooms Visuals sit with us and discuss his journey to becoming a Videographer who has worked on countless music projects with some of the biggest names in Hip Hop. He also runs a creative marketing agency Aesthetic Haus, which focuses on developing and creating new ways to make commercial businesses stand out to the consumer. We touch on the lessons one picks up while being out on the field, gaining experiences in an industry that's at times challenging.

Part 2 is locked and loaded with Black Rose back in the place to be with The Hip Hop Advocates and were picking up right where we left off. We have some footage from an event we attended, hosted by the Global Goal Music Group that shows some of the performances that night. Black Rose jumps on the Shown N Prove stage and performs her single "What Chu Sayin" and she kills it as expected. We jump over from there to the Album of the week which fits perfectly with our guest so tune in to find out and of course we close it out with the official video for "What Chu Sayin" featuring some very familiar faces from the NY comedy scene. This week we have the multi talented Black Rose with us here to tell her story. She is an Actress, Music Artist, Comedian, Writer, Activist the list goes on. Black Rose is from Uptown Manhattan and she credits her hometown for being the strong personality she is today. Her surroundings have influenced her creativity to get the most out of any idea you can come up with it and execute it to your fullest capability. She gets into her musical influences for the Top Five segment and it's a roster of All Time great singers. Searching for Black Rose brung up some cool pictures with memorable stories behind the flicks we found. Her music video for her single "What Chu Sayin" closes out the episode but stay tuned cause part two is next and she gives us a sensational performance on the Advocates stage.

This new episode is featuring a native Bronx, NY artist by the name Solo Jones. He opens up on his relationship with his teenage son and how he keeps him fresh and inspired to be creative with his music and vision. His new music video "Traffic" is probably one of the most creative new visuals out there today where he is driving around NYC in a dolly doing different day to day things. We get into his Top Five and the difficulty of narrowing it down to just five all time because there are different categories and eras of Hip Hop that hit equally great but have completely different outcome on the sound. The Searching for Solo Jones segment brought up some funny stories behind the pictures we picked out and stay tuned till the end for his latest music video for his single "Traffic". Part 2 coming next week.

For this special episode of The Hip Hop Advocates Show, we sit down with Budega team member Kels Acosta at their Queens location in Richmond Hill. We touch on the full experience you will receive walking into a Budega location and all the different products they have to offer. When you walk in, it is all about comfort and education so dont hesitate to join the family. Watch the full episode and see how to become a member.

As you may have already noticed with part one, the Rhinoceros Funk is must see TV. We had a lot of fun as the night went on. Figz went into the vault and found some vintage album covers of prior work Rhino put out. His level of intellect on the stories he tells will grasp any audiences attention. Not hard to tell once you get to know him that he is a professor by day and an ill rhyme sayer by night. We got "Bars With Rhino" in full effect and he got the album they were on right but could not remember the songs. It was close enough!! There is a lot unwrap in his music that is worth dissecting the bars and understanding what he is actually trying to relay to the listener. It gets put on full display on the Show N Prove segment of the show. Make sure to check out the Album of the Week "Silent Funk" and get educated.

This is a special episode featuring the well versed, unforgiving, mind motivating Rhinoceros Funk. We promise nothing but a nonstop laughter and learning experience.  Rhino gets into his beginning as a college radio personality in the late 90 early 00s and how it prepared him for his radio show alongside his radio host partner DJ Fred Ones on Guerilla Grooves Radio. Listening to Rhino speak will make you appreciate the incredible lyrical ability in his rhymes and nostalgic personality he delivers with his flow. It took some prying to get the Top Five out of him, but we got it, and it consists of some elite emcees. Searching for Rhino brings some funny ass stories that'll definitely have your ears glued till the end. Stay tuned for part 2 next week!!

We're back in action with OSVN sitting down with the Advocates for part 2 of the interview and we get deep on dreams and aspirations.  Some things we wish to obtain sometimes need to be spoken into existence before they actually happen so we can pave the road in front of us to get there.  Gotta be a dreamer to be an achiever!! We had some fun on Bars With OSVN and we stumped him on where some of the bars the songs came from that he wrote and rhymed but the main object of the game is to show recognition to the picture being painted by the artist through their words.  There is a beauty in listening to a song and painting the picture of what is being said in your mind to connect with the message, sort of like a prayer which is what makes Hip Hop such a beautiful thing. We got one half of the Hip Hip duo Undeniable in the building, one of Corona Queens own OSVN. It was an honor to have such a professed individual come in and touch on topics that most are too scared and misinformed on. We take him back to reminisce on his beginning of creating his own rhymes and how being dedicated and focused helps develop ones creativity. OSVN tells the story of how Undeniable came about back in the day from kids in the neighborhood having fun, to coming together as a group to give us countless classic work like the Five Finger Discount series and their debut album Black Market Artists. We made it to a half a century of episodes and what better way to celebrate than with one of the best young talents this Hip Hop culture has to offer today. Coney Island's own Lil Dee is in the building and kicking it with the Advocates to tell his story. Dee wrote his first rhyme when he was 10 years old and never stopped from there, consistently writing and practicing till he gained the confidence at 12 to begin taking his dream serious. He joined different circuits online that showed him how to better market his creativity and led to him be recognized by some legendary people in the Hip Hop culture. Much praise to Lil Dee's father who saw the potential and the desire in his son and supported him all the way to bring him where he is today. There is an upcoming project he will be dropping soon called "Escape From Coney Island" where Lil Dee will be showcasing his maturity and growth to go along with upcoming collaborations with Kool G Rap, J Dilla and Dres (from Black Sheep), Diamond D and many more legends in Hip Hop. As it is in his music, Dee is beyond his years on his perspective in life and his goals which is a big reason he is able to connect with such a broad audience of all ages. Fresh out of High School Lil Dee continues his academic endeavors today in learning how to be more self efficient with producing, engineering and learning the business side of the music industry. Being self efficient is the best way to get where you're trying to go in life. We asked the question and Lil Dee had the answers with an elite Top Five list of artist that he listens to and helped mold the artist he's becoming. On the segment "Looking for Lil Dee" we showed him some pictures we found so he can tell the story behind each shot describing where he was, who he was with and what was going on at that time. Welcome back to another episode featuring Rachel La Loca and she puts her talents on full display for us on this one with the Show N Prove. She describes what inspires her to get into a character mode when playing the many roles and voiceovers she does and details how she met her good friends Tommy5K, Mr Nueva Yol, Black Rose and many more. It gets really real for a bit as Rachel gets into the hardship of when the pandemic hit and how she navigated through the uncertainty of being able to continue to do what she loves. Rachel is a master of turning a bad situation into a good one with her bright open minded personality.  We got some footage of the charity event we performed at called the Tormenta Telethon held at the Triad Theater which Rachel and her good friend Miss Angelina co-hosted together for the people effected by the Hurricane which directly impacted Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. The featured guests list was a lineup of comedians that did not let up for a minute on the jokes. It was a classic night and a memorable event for a great cause. Part two is always the turn up so prepare to laugh your asses off!!! Were back from the Galaxy of Queens with Legit Easy and we get into the beauty of being from the most diverse city in the world New York City. Album of the week to vibe out to is called "Easy Listenings" by Legit Easy which has his diversity in creating music on full display. We breakdown some lyrics on our latest segment called Bars with Legit Easy but before that we had to get that Show N Prove going with a classic performance of his hit single "Creatures". Make sure to add that to your playlist and enjoy the episode.

We got Jackson Heights representative Legit Easy in the building with a such a great passion and gift for his art form to represent on this classic episode. LE takes us back to where it all started for him and how that battery was put in his back to pick up a mic. We touch on his creative process and the business side of the music game being an independent artist. When you have a business idea sometimes you have to put all your eggs in one basket. Our guest DJ from Custom Create Shop did just that and hasn't looked back since. He shares the humble beginnings as he started pressing shirts from his basement to building his brand by collaborating with heavy hitters such as The Yankees to 50 cent and the list goes on. This episode is enlightening as well as educational and inspirational.

On this special Episode #37 we had the honor of having a Corona, Queens legend sit down with us and tell us and our viewers his dynamic journey in Hiphop Dating back to the late 80's, forming his first group The Triflicts and then getting signed to 4th & Broadway, running into Wu-Tang creator RZA and his group Gravediggaz for the first time, meeting and working with legendary Queens duo The Beatnuts, his anticipated debut album Hustlers Prayer, signing to Wu Music Group and of course we had to get that Top Five.
