A God idea is insight from God to your spirit to implement a particular idea in the marketplace. These ideas are designed to be profitable, but many believers struggle to find success with them. 

Have you ever experienced a major business or life failure? If so, you may have negative associations resulting from that experience, which are affecting your current decision-making. To move forward and succeed in your calling, we have to break those negative associations.

Pastor Amos introduced an experiment to shift the online Sunday service to an asynchronous format  to better serve people in different time zones, while Celine shared her experience in building a chatbot and her concerns about disclosing her true background. Attendees also discussed the challenges of navigating toxic family dynamics, with an emphasis on the importance of forgiveness, self-care, and setting boundaries. Lastly, the group shared their personal experiences on reconciling faith with family expectations, prioritizing spiritual growth, and focusing on God's redemptive plan during times of grief.

Unfortunately, in society the way you look (physical characteristics, weight, height, gender, race, etc.) can be an advantage if you have the look society deems attractive. If you don’t have the look society desires, then that can be a disadvantage in climbing the ladder of success. However, none of that matters to God because God’s blessing for your success is not based on societal biases.

Many times, when we need business advice, we seek out the latest guru. Yes, human input is important. However, your best source of advice will always be the Holy Ghost. Without His guidance, your likelihood of success is quite low.

We tend to buy the latest business tools and seek out the newest marketing techniques in an attempt to create success in our business, ministry, or non-profit. However, we achieve success not because of the tools or techniques we acquire but because of the anointing.

The body of Christ is learning about Grace and how God accepts us just as we are. This means that “getting our lives right” is not a prerequisite for salvation or receiving God’s love. However, if we desire to lead and succeed in our calling, then our lifestyle has to line up with how God designed us to live (aka living holy). In fact, living at a certain level of holiness is a prerequisite for leadership in the Kingdom of God. As leaders, we are held to a higher standard.

I am tackling the question of manifestation. In particular, why hasn’t the manifestation of a promise of God happen for you yet? To explore the answer, God gave me an analogy of a “door” and a “Key.” Take a listen and discover the major reason behind the lack of manifestation.

Success culture promotes the idea of starting your own venture so you can be your own boss. Essentially, this notion encourages an escape from submission. However, this motive can be dangerous because to succeed in starting a business, ministry, or non-profit, you need to be able to submit to others.

As Christians, at times, we are timid in declaring why our business is great for the job to potential clients. We do this because of a false sense of humility. We don’t want to sound as though we are bragging or come off as prideful. However, when you have the opportunity to pitch your business (or yourself) to a client, don’t hold back. Boldly present your credentials and how you will solve the client’s problems. If Jesus was bold to declare that He was the way to salvation, we should boldly declare that our business is the way to solve a client’s problems.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God as His children. Jesus' calling was to save us, and He did it well, but to accomplish His calling, He had to "take up His cross." Similarly, Jesus instructs us to "take up our cross" and follow Him. But what does this really mean? To achieve the calling God has given us, taking up our cross represents going in a different direction than normal society and being considered foolish for following the dream God has given us. It is the complete surrender of our will to achieve the calling God gave us, until we leave this earth through death or rapture.

Many believers have a misconception about faith. They see faith as taking a giant leap into the unknown; however, real faith is simply following the steps God has laid out for us. This means that, nine times out of ten, your success in entrepreneurship will come in steps — not leaps — of faith.

They explored how to align your career with your current calling and emphasized embracing your gifts without trying to build secondary businesses to support ministry efforts. The discussion also covered faith, prosperity, and work location flexibility, stressing the significance of trusting God's guidance. On a regular basis, most of us face the "success dilemma," which involves choosing between following our calling from God or doing something else "we think" will make more money. I know I do. However, this success dilemma is a trick of Satan to get us out of the will of God. But the truth is, if we simply stick to our calling, we will be in God's will and achieve financial success.

A major problem many people need to overcome is "success depression." Success depression occurs when someone feels depressed until they achieve a goal in their calling. Once the goal is attained, they are happy again. However, the real problem is that this happiness is short-lived. This is because they immediately set another goal, and the "success depression" roller coaster starts all over again. Obviously, this is not sustainable. If this feeling sounds familiar, then listen closely and let's examine the Word of God to find the solution to get off the emotional roller coaster of success depression.

The Kingdom of God is God’s way of doing things. In the Kingdom, there’s a way to approach marriage, and the Kingdom way of marriage is straightforward and simple. If we follow God’s blueprint for marriage, we will have a healthy and successful marriage. Creating our own version of marriage will lead to frustration and confusion. Therefore, let’s discover the Kingdom blueprint for marriage.

The success you desire to create through your endeavors is created with words of faith. Yes we need to put in work, but success created God’s way starts with words.

I have been guilty of this many times. Here is the story: God gives me an idea. I start implementing it, and then I run into some challenges. At this point, I throw up my hands and say, “God is going to work it out.” However, it crashes and burns. Did God let me down? No. The problem is that “God is going to work it out” is not a strategy for success. God needs us to plan.

We hear many stories of successful non-Christian businesspeople in the news, and every now and then, we hear about a few Christians who have achieved success in business. Why does it seem like secular people are more successful in business than Christians? Well, the reason is that they have fully committed to their worldly system of success, whereas many Christians in business are wishy-washy. They try to do business God's way mixed with worldly principles, which is a recipe for frustration and failure.

Sonja, who founded "Christ Conquers Cancer," grappled with appearing on a secular podcast, but Pastor Amos encouraged her to embrace authenticity and bring light to that podcast. Celine sought advice on pricing her consulting services and staying confident in her value, while Stephanie shared her journey of self-discovery and aligning her calling with her services. Balancing coaching, ministry, and financial sustainability emerged as a challenge, and the group offered support to Alicia in navigating this path. Josica's struggles with narcissistic abuse and impending eviction brought forth discussions on resilience, practical help, and accountability. Success hinges on understanding the type of calling God has given you. Has God called you to establish and lead a ministry or a business? Confusing ministry with business can hinder your success in both. Let's delve into the differences and nuances between these callings to help you discern God's unique calling for you.

When we experience failure in life, if we are not careful, we can harden our hearts towards God. This is dangerous because a hard heart cannot have faith, which is the force by which we receive success from God. In a very real way, a hardened heart towards God blocks your success in life and in your calling.

God sees the end from the beginning. Thus, He has already seen the needs and challenges you are currently facing in your life and calling. Since God is good, He has already equipped you with everything you need to turn your current situation around. When God calls you, He equips you to win.

Does it feel as though you're on a turbulent roller coaster ride with the vision God has provided? Hold on, because victory is on its way. Even God's dream for humanity encountered bumps along the road, and it's not over yet. Just like God, we will triumph in the end.

Sunday Service | Everyone has an opinion or testimony about how marriage should or shouldn't work. However, if their testimony doesn't align with the Word of God, it is not authoritative, and we shouldn't follow it. God is the author of peace, and if we follow His blueprint for marriage, we will have a fun, healthy, and peaceful marriage.

Open Fourm | Today, we had a great discussion on a variety of topics. We talked about dating and marriage, dealing with mothers-in-law, starting a business with no money, taking steps in business rather than leaps, handling disappointment in the child birthing process, and a few other interesting topics.
