Ask for what you want. The worst that can happen is that the answer is “no.” Even if you think you’re not going to get what you’re asking for, you don’t know for sure that the answer is going to be. Having those conversations and taking that initiative help people to find out more about you, and let them be aware of what you want. You can even ask the universe! Put it out there. Don’t just assume!

There might be something that would benefit you that you aren’t doing yet. Start doing it. Keep repeating the thing. If you do it enough, you’ll probably come to enjoy it because you’re rewriting how your brain thinks about the thing. If you rewrite your brain and start to enjoy what you’re doing, think about how much better things are going to be!
