This month Detroit legends Suzi Quatro and Alice Cooper and new music from Thunder. Suzi Quatro has a new album out she joins me to talks about a 55 year career in the music industry and a new album her best since the 70's called "The Devil in Me" we hear a selection of tracks from that and we hear from Alice Cooper about his new album "Detroit Stories" .

This month I am joined by Michael Schenker to talk about his new album with MSG "Immortal" and we look back on a 50 year career which has included many highlights. We talk about all those who tried to tempt him to join them from the Rolling Stones to Deep Purple and Ozzy Osbourne and what does a "Rock God" do when he isn't playing .

We conclude with a look at who Michael would love to collaborate with and would he join the Scorpions for a farewell tour.

AC/DC are back and Brian Jonson is a happy man and we talk to Jon Scott who was the man who discovered Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and made it his life's obsession as a promo man with MCA and ABC records to make sure they became the rock legends they did indeed became. He went on to become one of Tom's great friends.

this month we pay a few tributes firstly Pete Way of UFO who passed away august 14th, also legendary producer Martin Birch we look back at his career and hear from him and Steve Harris, Deep Purple release "Whoosh" we'll have words from Gillan and Paice on the album and its the 40th anniversary of "Monsters of Rock" we look back at the day and hear some classic Rainbow recorded live on the day.

Another bumper podcast with all sorts of features, Jimmy Page had the "Greatest Riff of all time " bestowed from a vote a while back this archive interview captures his reaction, Zeppelin went to Iceland back in 1970 as part of a cultural exchange Robert Plant was interviewed whilst there and the music industry was being looked into in the USA back in 72 this archive report actually had the reporter on the Zeppelin plane.

One of the album of the year contenders has just been released Joe Elliot and the DOWN 'n' OUTZ present "This Is How We Roll"  we hear from him and one of the standout tracks on the album as well.

If the 1960's were a whirlwind the 1970's were a hurricane as when success hit it elevated Randy Bachman and the band BTO to one of the biggest bands in the world in 4 years they released 5 albums that went gold, 18 singles including what remains Sony musics most licensed track in their history "takin' care of business" and of course "you ain't seen nothin yet".
