Dons supporters are rightly frustrated at our recent league form and none more so than our matches against St Johnstone and Hearts. A round up from both matches and we hear from the manager, Barry Robson. Neil Simpson provides a progress update on our young Dons that are out on loan this season. Back after the brief winter break and straight into fourth round Scottish Cup action on Friday night against Clyde at New Douglas Park and a 2-0 win to progress to the last 16. Happy New Year! A welcome respite came in a 3-0 win against Ross County in Dingwall to open our 2024 with a much needed win. Listen to the post-match reaction with under-fire manager, Barry Robson. Storm Gerrit put paid to our midweek fixture against Motherwell, but we did get in our final match of the year against St Mirren at Pittodrie. With 3,000 odd supporters heading towards or in Dundee, an unexpected call-off an hour before kick-off wasn't the ideal pre-Christmas jaunt for the Red Army. Dons Chief Executive, Alan Burrows provides his thoughts on the postponed match. A big week for the Dons as we bow out of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a 2-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt, but ended the week in disappointment, with a 1-0 loss against Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final at Hampden. Aberdeen had just three wins in 14 league games up until this weekend. A gutting injury time loss against Kilmarnock and another injury time saviour from Leighton Clarkson against Hearts provided the mixed bag this week. The snow fell, jingle bells was sung and the Dons drew in our penultimate UEFA Europa Conference League match against HJK Helsinki last Thursday. A VAR assisted penalty for the visitors deep into injury time was the only difference between Aberdeen and Rangers as both side finished the match, 1-1 on Sunday afternoon at a cold Pittodrie. Our European journey beyond Christmas comes to an end following our draw in Greece against PAOK and we suffer a hangover on Sunday with a lacklustre performance against Celtic in Glasgow. A successful week for the Dons.  A convincing win against Motherwell midweek and we ground out a result against Hibs in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Saturday. Three points in Europe were snatched away from us in the final minutes of our match against PAOK at Pittodrie on Thursday night.   Pre-match with Stefan Gartenmann and Barry Robson and post match reaction following the game with Barry. And our league encounter with Kilmarnock on Sunday didn't give us much joy either, losing 2-0 on the road in a tepid affair at Rugby Park.  Barry provides his analysis of the game. Our second match in Group G of the UEFA Europa Conference League saw us meet HJK Helsinki at Pittodrie. Another double-header this week.  The Dons were in action midweek against Ross County in Dingwall in the League Cup and then a league match in Glasgow against Rangers on Saturday and secured wins in both. Our league cup encounter against Stirling Albion wasn't as straightforward as we would have liked, but we progress to the quarter-finals after a 2-1 win on Friday night.  Post match reaction from Barry Robson. Despite us going ahead with a Bojan Miovski goal, a Kemar Roofe sucker punch in extra time saw us lose 2-1 on the day, not helped by yet another Anthony Stewart sending off.
