Actress Bindiya Goswami is a former Indian actress, who is best known for her work in Hindi cinema throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Bindiya was discovered at a party, when she was a teenager, by actress Hema Malini's mother. She felt that Bindiya had a resemblance to her daughter Hema Malini and recommended her to film producers. Bindiya Goswami's biggest hit was Hrishikesh Mukherjee's comedy film Gol Maal in 1979. The success of her film Dada in 1979 led her to sign a number of films with actor Vinod Mehra. I'll discuss her career in this episode and why she eloped twice. What were the reasons for eloping and whom did she elope with? Find out in this episode.

Actress Leena Chandavarkar was very famous and in-demand actress during the late 1960s and in the early 1970’s. She left her career when she was considered as one of the best actress on Hindi cinema screens to get married. Tragedy struck and she became a widow at a young age after only 11 days of marriage. She then married singer and actor Kishore Kumar who was 21 years older than her. Now there were rumors that Leena Chandavarkar was 9 months pregnant when she married Kishore Kumar in 1980. In this episode, I’ll discuss when Jaya Bachchan scolded superstar of Indian Cinema Rajesh Khanna, actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar. Jaya Bachchan stood up for Amitabh Bachchan who she had not married yet. In 1974, Jaya Bachchan fought with Manoj Kumar and Rajesh Khanna because of Amitabh Bachchan. The reason for this rift was that Manoj Kumar cast Big B in a supporting role in his first directorial film. Jaya ji predicted at that time that Amitabh Bachchan had way too much talent to be casted in a supporting role. In 1981, actor Kumar Gaurav became an instant star with his debut film Love Story. Kumar Gaurav was son of famous actor Rajinder Kumar aka Jubilee Kumar for his hit films. 1981 also marked the year when actor Sanjay Dutt became an instant star with debut film Rocky. Hes a son of legendary actor Sunil Dutt. Both of these actors' films failed miserably at the box office after their debut films. In 1984, Kumar Gaurav married Sanjay Dutt’s sister and both became brother in-laws. Late actor Rishi Kapoor is known for his numerous hit films. He won millions of hearts of his fans with his subtle acting and witty charm. He was also known for his outspoken views and opinions. He was a short tempered but a lovable teddy bear who always forgave and forgot. Rishi Kapoor was known for his unfiltered opinions and for speaking his mind. Few years ago, Rishi Kapoor wrote about his father in his memoir named Khullam Khulla. He wrote about his father late actror, filmmaker and showman of Bollywood Raj Kapoor and his affairs. One of the affairs of Raj Kapoor was that with actress Vyjanthimala. However, Vyjanthimala denied all this in her memoir book. Just before his death, Rishi Kapoor blasted Vjyanthimala ji for denying her affair with his father Raj Kapoor. I’ll discuss this in today’s episode. Manisha Koirala is one of India's leading film actors. She was born into a prominent royal Koirala family in Nepal. Manisha made her Bollywood debut with film named Saudagar in 1991, before going on to establish herself as one of the leading actresses with films such as 1942: A Love Story, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Bombay, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dil Se, Mann, Lajja, Company and many others. Manisha Korala took a break from acting in 2012 and returned five years later with the coming-of-age drama Dear Maya, Netflix's Lust Stories and Sanju. In addition to working in Hindi films, she has also worked in Nepali and English films. She’s known for her work in both commercial and independent cinema. Manisha Kooirala is the recipient of several awards including 4 Filmfare awards. In 2001, the Government of Nepal awarded her with the Order of Gorkha Dakshina Bahu award. On 29 November 2012, media news reported that Koirala had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She flew to USA for treatments and surgery. She’s now cancer free and a proud survivor. After winning the fight against cancer, she is actively involved in spreading awareness about the disease. In 2022, she wrote a book titled Healed: How Cancer Gave Me a New Life. For some reason, even though he was just as good looking if not better than the other heroes at the time, no great roles ever came his way and certainly not from the big banners. He was luckier than others after launching his own production house and made his debut as a director.
