This is a simple mindset shift inspired by a joke from one of my favorite comedians. It can be so easy for us to focus on the negative aspects of life. All the things that aren't going right. All the things we can't control. But when we flip the switch and think about what in our life is going well and that we have the power to do something that will positively influence our future, we're taking back control. When we believe that the future is greater than our past, everything changes. Life becomes more fun. We start noticing things we never did before. We give ourselves permission to explore our passions and pursue our dreams. I hope this video inspires you to do more of what you love.

Tue, 03 Jan 2023 - 15min - 88 - Be Happier By Letting Go of These Six Things EP 88
In order to live a happier, more fulfilling life, we need to let go of what no longer serves us to make space for what does.
Here are 6 things to let go of to help you become the best version of yourself:
- Perfectionism – How many dreams are waiting or dying inside of you because you are waiting for the perfect time or because you don’t want to put it out into the world because it doesn’t have all of the ‘perfect pieces’ even though we know perfect doesn’t exist.Comparison – Nothing beneficial comes from comparing. The only person you need to compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday.Toxic relationships – Let go of the people in your life that don’t serve you, the people you give so much effort and energy to that don’t give it back. Let people show you who they really are, and believe them.Negative self-talk – Ask yourself: Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it kind?Unused things – what can you get rid of that you no longer use? Maybe it’s clothes in your closet or books on your shelf. When we start getting rid of unused things, the energy shifts and opens up, and we invite new energy back into our lives.Judgment – let go of judgment of yourself and of other people. It is not our job to judge people in this world. We have no idea what other people are going through in their lives. If we lead with kindness and love, the world would be a much better place.

And if it is, how can we take advantage of that? How can we tap into that? The answer, according to Sara, is a lot simpler than you think and it only takes an hour or two to make it happen.
Kate also figures out what people are talking about when they talk about Mercury in retrograde. Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
