@piganddan have been an institution of the international techno scene for over two decades. Two titans that have now joined us in our “Multiverse of Music” with 90 minutes of their vibrant signature sound for your listening pleasure! The formation of Pig&Dan may have been an unusual one, but was no doubt fate. The two crossed paths on a flight to Mallorca back in 1999, when Dan was a resident DJ at Ministry of Sound and touring globally, and Igor was deep in the world of illegal underground raves whilst producing music under the name Tropic 39. By that stage the two had gone through a number of strong formative years surrounded by music. Since then, Pig&Dan have achieved an amazing back-catalogue of releases on labels including Soma, Plus8, Terminal M, Diynamic, Bedrock and most recently Drumcode. Chart topping releases came in the form of ‘Growler’ and their landmark LP ‘Modular Baptism’ on their own label ELEVATE. And not forgetting their 2016 debut to Adam Beyer’s Drumcode with ‘Mexico’ and ‘Chemistry’ which sat at the No.1 Techno Track spot on Beatport for over 2 months, leading to signing 3 more EP’s with the label. Pig&Dan are still all about the music, and always will be. Continuing to release quality music like their ‘Reset Your Bassline’ EP on Cocoon, ‘Infinity’ EP on Drumcode, or even remixing Deadmau5’s ‘gula (ov)’, whilst some are more personal like ‘Promised’ on Truesoul. It appears however that 2020 could be the most important and transformative year yet. Having launched a new live show last year in Fabric (UK), Warung (BR) and AIM Festival (CA) to name a few, Pig&Dan are ready to take over the music sphere with a two part release dropping on Drumcode in March. We expect to hear a lot more of Pig&Dan this year and are excited to see what further projects the duo will reveal.

Up next on our ReBirth podcast series is Braxton! Ahead of Braxton making his debut at Egg London this Friday, he has cooked up a mix for us to sink our teeth into! DJ Bio British DJ and producer Braxton has been prolific since signing to Anjunadeep in 2019, adding his distinctive style to their compilations and live shows. As well as hallowed spots on the Anjunadeep Vol.11 and Vol. 12, in 2021 he released breakbeat favourite Chiaroscuro/Torn to critical acclaim and three singles on the Colorize label – including Holding On, a collaboration with Laurent L’aiment. In 2022, he will play Colours in Hoxton with Spencer Brown, the 5 Palm in Dubai alongside Dosem and Lutrell, and Fabric in London with James Grant and Jody Wisternoff. His official remixes include work for MARSH, RÜFÜS DU SOL,Tourist, and Above & Beyond, who featured his remix of Eternal on their 10 Years of Group Therapy compilation. Braxton’s music has featured on playlists by Sasha, BBC Radio 1’s Chillest Show and Jaguar on BBC Introducing Dance.

Up next on our "Multiverse Of Music" mixtape series will be @noraenpure, an artist that has been involved in the music industry for over a decade! The South African / Swiss native will be joining us as she headlines the Garden area on the 1st of April and as a present she has supplied us with a hour of melodic & house rhythms. A strong characteristic is her use of organic instruments and sounds with emotive piano leads being her strongest suit. Nora En Pure is the Deep House & Indie Dance music sensation that is rippling through the sonic sphere with her beautiful blend of electronic beats. A core member of the Helvetic Nerds group, Nora leads listeners out of the darker realms of Deep House with intricate instrumentals and enlightening melodies. Every track she gets her hands on turns to gold and every performance she gives leaves the audience in awe. Daniela continues to dominate in 2019, receiving two nominations in the IDMA Awards for Best Female Artist (House) and Best Podcast/Radio Show for Purified. Being announced as one Wynn Las Vegas Resident DJs and making her highly anticipated return to ULTRA Music Festival & Coachella, Nora continues to prove her indomitable work ethic and demonstrates why she has been crowned the Queen of Deep House. With two Purified events already scheduled in Miami for Miami Music Week and New York and her first release of the year ‘We Found Love’ working its magic all over the globe, 2019 is sizing up to be Nora En Pure’s biggest year-to-date.

Lily is an enchanting spirit, brought up in a family heavily influenced by the creative arts, Lily naturally was drawn towards music from an early age. Following the completion of her master’s degree at the University of Arts London. Whilst working at MTV, Lily began her modest entry into DJ'ing, starting with small bars and private parties around London. After being advised to showcase her talent online, she instantly broke into the top 10 global Mixcloud charts with her set, soon after this, she naturally progressed onto her current radio show on Ibiza Global Radio, in which she has held residency for over four years. In recent times, while staying authentic to herself, Lily has seen major growth in her career. Some highlights include gigs across the North of America, Ibiza, Turkey, Morocco, Amsterdam and Iceland. Also having feature interviews in Mixmag magazine & LiveNation ticketmaster ‘ones to watch’ In 2022 we will see Lily release her first debut track alongside announcing further international gigs, making for an exciting year ahead.

A DJ, producer from Ireland, Andrew Azara emerged onto the scene in late 2019 with a string of forward-thinking house cuts which catapulted him onto the House & Minimal world, but what is key to Andrews's success is that he has continued to back up his consistency and deliver time and time again with every release. A long-standing love of early house & techno music, but also an understanding of a more big room sound from early 2010 days feed into his own unique take on House music. His sublime late-night cuts via the likes of Heavy House Society, Do Not Sleep, Origins, Rendr, Avotre, and Surge records. And yet, after playing some of the biggest clubs and festivals like District 8, Life Festival, elrow & countless top releases, Azara still continues to serve up heat at a fast rate and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Renaat Vandepapeliere delivers the 11th instalment of our "Multiverse of Music" mix series.⁣ More than an hour journey beyond any limits for a true R&S experience by the master himself. Renaat Vandepapeliere, boss, A&R and Factotum of the all-mighty Techno label R&S Records needs little introduction. His career spans over 3 decades in which his visionary soul gave a platform to express their selves to some of the most prolific and forward-think artists of the electronic music scene such as Derrick May, Joey Beltram and Aphex Twin, while today, James Blake, Paula Temple, Tale of Us, Nonkeen (Nihls Frahm) all walk in the glorious heritage of R&S! Today, Renaat and his label have earned him the title of being an uncompromising pioneer, and although his role as boss and A&R of the label is very time consuming, Renaat still is a remarkable selector who truly enjoys taking risks beyond trends...

Ahead of Chapter & Verse upcoming headline show at Egg London on Friday 18th February, he's put together a mini mix for our mixtape series. Blending in up-coming releases from himself and giving us a sneak peek of what to expect on the Middle Floor!

Here we are with our 10th episode of our "Multiverse of Music" series, and this time our guest will be @Ramoss . Newcomer in the London scene Ramoss has already garnered support from many of the biggest names in the industry such as Jesse Calosso, Jean Pierre, Mason Collective, and the one and only Marco Carola. He started to develop a different music style with local influences and inspired by Latin and African rhythms as well as Hip-Hop, Salsa, Brazilian Funk and Cumbia. In the city Ramoss is well known for his brand 'Barbaro', and is currently working on some cool stuff which will be released later in the year. He not only has a unique flair for producing, but his creativity on the decks too has given him the opportunity to share the stage with DJs such as Sam Divine, Leon, George Privatti and Blair from Mason Collective.

Up next on our ReBirth mixtape series is RedFreya. Redfreya is a London based DJ, creating emotive and melodic soundscapes, giving heavy rotation to deep/progressive house, afrohouse & melodic techno selections. In this series you can expect a signature style, blending easily between these genres with an uplifting energy. A mix series setting us right for her debut show at Egg London on Friday 11th February along with Korolova, Asch Pintura & Mia Aurora.

Get ready for an intese hour of music with the ninth guest in our "Multiverse of Music" @oliverhuntemann . Myths abound in the north when it comes to techno ground zero, and they refuse to go away. Oliver Huntemann is one of a handful of children of the north who, for what seems like an eternity, add an element of credence to the mythology. He does not, of course, live in a snowy forest or at the edge of the polar oceans. The sun does, on occasion, shine down on Hamburg. Oliver Huntemann’s concrete roots can be traced back to early techno. Had he been any younger, he would undoubtedly have sucked electronica like mother’s milk from a C64 chip. Like so many of his colleagues, his route to techno took a tour through electro and rave. He could tell the usual veteran tales when it comes to influences, his first record purchases, or on the subject of the good old days. Been there, done that! It was more difficult maintaining a low profile. Huntemann the producer and collaborator has racked up remixes for the likes of Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Underworld (the list goes on) and his work with Dubfire now spans a good eight years (Elements, Dios, Diablo, Humano). Since 2016, his residency at Watergate has been illuminating Berlin's nightlife quite brilliantly, whilst he continues to play clubs and festivals all over the planet: from Warung in Brazil and the Rex Club in Paris to BPM Festival in Mexico, Strawberry Fields and Let Em Eat Cake in Australia or Woogie Weekend in California.

The eighth guest in our "Multivers of Music" is @knowhatmusic . This mix will take you on a groove-full journey through a selection of upbeat soundscapes and tones, showcasing Knowhat’s unique flavors Knowhat, also known for his longer established Mr. High alias, is a Sicilian born, London based DJ, Producer and curator of the media page “Mr. Afterparty”, who bursted onto the scene when he was only 15 years old. Securing his position as a renowned DJ while in Sicily, after winning a stream of various contests and competitions, Knowhat has quickly grasped the art of music production and started crafting his own discography filled with driving drums and swelling house hooks. Playing along with the likes of renowned artists such as Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Oliver Huntemann, Marco Carola, among many others, Knowhat became a regular on the International DJ circuit. His uplifting tech-house sets captivate audience anywhere he goes leading him to have appearances on major events such as the BPM Festival in Costa Rica, Gianpula Festival, Heineken Festival, DJ Mag Live and in clubs like EGG London, Ibiza Rocks, E1 London, Studio 338 and many more.

@risataniguchi is the 7th guest in our “Multiverse of Music”. In this mix she displays exactly what she delivers in her recent shows with a dark and solid bassline in a seamless flow, including some of her upcoming music. Risa Taniguchi is arriving at the forefront of the dark techno wave that has washed over the underground in recent years. The Tokyo born - and based - artist has spent the last four years cultivating a lo-fi sound of distorted textures, fizzing synths and a quietly burning energy, which consumes all who hear it. Since her first release back in 2018, Risa has attracted high profile interest from A-list players Amelie Lens, Dense & Pika, Pan Pot, Perc and Daniel Avery; has hit the Top 5 of the Beatport's Leftfield Techno Chart and played everywhere from De Marktkantine in Amsterdam to Watergate in Berlin and of course all the most revered spaces all across Japan including Contact, Womb, and Vent."

The sixth guest in our "Multiverse of Music" is the south american rising star @sebastianledher. Today we have a minimal house / deep tech session, going through elegant sounds with deep bass-lines and melodies, that create a perfect vibe to dance. Play Groove's label boss Sebastian Ledher has become one of Colombia's top talents and an essential Dj in the Spanish scene. His incredible ability to create an intense connection with his audience generates a truly unique atmosphere and generate prodigious climaxes on the dance floors. As a result, he recurrently performs in the most acclaimed festivals and parties Such as The BPM Festival, The Winter Festival, Los Alamos Festival and clubs such as Fabrik Madrid, Privilege, Village Underground and Fabric London where he is currently a resident for the party Bamboleo.

Next up on our "Multiverse of Music" series we have Romanian DJ/Producer @Nushaa . Bringing a heavy hitting Techno drum, as she takes us on a journey on our next mixtape instalment. A woman at the top of her game is the unique Romanian female artist Nusha, who is involved into the techno scene since 2007. She has experimented and refined her musical taste throughout the years, is sharing stages with well-known techno legends and playing some of the greatest techno festivals across the world. Her sets are powerful, energetic and standing still is not an option. In the studio she is just as passionate. Nusha creates her own unique style, blending minimalistic beats with hard kicks and adding hypnotic melodies. Once in a while she will give you her own vocal statements like, Chaos or Addiction. She is regularly to be found on Autektone, FeChrome and Orange Records, which are a perfect match.

The fourth guest in our "Multiverse of Music" is @antoniobasile_it . This podcast is a combination of fast grooves, punchy bass lines, warm vocals and spatial synths. Its deep soul will take you on a freaky journey far from your space. Active member of the International Talent crew, Antonio Basile has always been massively present in the underground scene of the electronic music in Naples. As a DJ, playing at the various projects of the organization - from the main event to the after parties - he had the chance to perform alongside several international artists as well as with the real representatives of the Neapolitan scene. This has always given him the opportunity to range between his favorite sounds, spacing from raw techno to classic house and derivatives.

@shafhuse is the third guest in our "Multiverse of Music". Today we will have a slick and involving podcast with a warm and rubbery bass-line. The prickly percussion drives things forwards and it has a real dance vibe that will amaze you once the vocals take off. With heavy support from the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Luciano, Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Jamie Jones , Milan based producer/DJ Shaf Huse quickly emerged as one of the industries most talked about names. Notably "Mavado", which was a major hit on the scene last summer, and selected by famed Ibiza nightspot Circoloco as the anthem for their closing season, the young Italian’s emergence onto the global circuit certainly didn’t go unnoticed either, with releases on the likes of Play To Win, Avotre, Inmotion and D-Floor Music and collaborations with Music On resident LEON, whilst gracing the decks at key venues across Europe (Fabric London, Ministry Of Sound, Egg London, Amnesia Milan, AIR Amsterdam) and South America (LaFeria Santiago Del Cile, Club Room and BAUM Bogotà)

@Kreed is the second guest in our "Multiverse of Music". This podcast showcases his darker minimal / deep tech sounds. Rolling basslines glitchy stabs and euphoric pads with some of Kreed’s production to make this podcast a real journey into his music world. Kreed started his career back in 2015 with a residency at Switch Southampton. From there he has jumped from strength to strength playing at numerous clubs across Amsterdam, London, Southampton and Manchester for the reputable brand “Kaluki”. He has more recently started Metafloor Records with "Hart & Neenan" & "Bastos" which is now a well respected event & label in the minimal/house scene. He has had multiple releases on labels such as LaDeep, Lowerhand, Metafloor, Sweettrip + many more.

@annaunusyan is the first artist we choose to inaugurate our "Multiverse of Music". This podcast is a mixture of deep tones and techno fuelled energy, including some of Anna's latest productions. Hailing from Far East Russia, Anna Unusyan is a music producer and a DJ who lives in London. Being brought up with a huge influence of punk-rock music, Anna has started exploring techno scene in the late teen years shortly after moving to London where she has quickly immersed herself into crafting her own sound that can be labelled as dynamic and bass-driven techno. Anna joined the English collective @tlt_london in 2017, and during the last few years she maintained regular gigs in London in clubs like Egg London and Ministry of Sound. In the last few years Anna has also appeared twice at Sonar OFF (Barcelona) as well as made a Berlin debut by playing an extended set at Suicide Club. In 2018 Anna secured her debut release with Starskream Records. Since then, Anna has been appearing on various imprints with records containing heavy thump and hypnotic textures.

Next up on our ReBirth mixtape series is a new comer making her debut appearance at Egg London this Saturday for Gold Diggers. DJ to some of London’s most exclusive nights, a classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho’s legendary Black Market Records, Hilit Kolet is the need-to-know artist ready to take the world by storm. Tel Aviv born but a Londoner through-and-through, Hilit has now revealed her debut production ‘Techno Disco’ with house music institution Defected, a jacking, club-ready cut which is setting dancefloors alight, from an artist who defies easy classification. Growing up in a musical home with a piano teacher Mum and a jazzholic Dad meant Hilit Kolet had rhythm for breakfast and melodies for lunch and played the piano before she could tie her shoelaces. As a teenager in Israel, she began to DJ and swiftly made it onto national prime-time radio, presenting dance music shows on TV and founding & editing the local equivalent to DJ Mag. Hilit packed her bags and booked a one-way ticket to London to pursue what she calls ‘THE DREAM’, the turning point in her journey as a selector. Kickstarting her career in the industry working for MTV, she then became a key staff member of iconic vinyl retailer Black Market Records, spending every moment possible soaking up the capital’s unique club culture and adding every experience to her already encyclopedic knowledge of the culture. Known for her hi-octane DJ sets, Hilit’s musical wonderland seamlessly drifts between the extensive and diverse districts of house, techno, disco and electronica. Securing shows at London’s best venues Egg London, XOYO, Dalston Superstore & Spiritland, to name just a few, she also holds down high-profile residencies at members clubs Chiltern Firehouse and The Ned and is well versed in the UK and international festival circuits. While Hilit says London is where her heart will always remain, she has played regular shows in Berlin and toured cities across the globe. Her debut production, ‘Techno Disco’, is out now on House music institution Defected and is loved and supported by the likes of Jovonn, Todd Edwards, Sam Divine, Syreeta, Harry Romero, Roger Sanchez, Heidi Lawden, John Summit, Joseph Capriati, Terry Farely, Eli Brown, Marco Faraone, Jodie Harsh, Supernova, Riva Starr, Severino, Michelle Manetti and many others; it has already reached #1 on Traxsource’s House chart and #3 on Shazam’s discovery chart. Armed with his first drum machine aged 17 and added to with his staple Korg Electribe MX, he’s gone on to release tunes like the underground classic ‘Manipulate’ a collab with Stephen Disario that Chris Liebing’s spins to this day as well as solid releases on Terminal M, Elevate, Respekt and Riot Recordings.
