In this episode my Dynasty Pros vs Joes league partner (Stephen Polacheck - @polacheckff ) and I review the first ever FFPC Dynasty Cutdown analysis. We've summarized which players were dropped the most, the least, and not at all across the FFPC Dynasty league landscape. We give our thoughts on many of the players as to why they were, and were not dropped.  There are a few surprises as well regarding some player that had to be cut to meet the strict 16 player per team limit.

After a wild opening week of NFL free agency and some high profile trades, we recap the impact of all the on FFPC Best Ball ADP.

Carlos Hyde and Antonio Brown found new homes this past weekend (March 9/10), so we take a look at the draft impact of these moves and what other players saw their market value increase or decrease.

In the world of chess, there is game theory around "the opening move".  In fantasy drafts, it's a similar situation. How you draft your first few players lays the groundwork for your draft. 

We dove into the the past two years of FFPC Best Ball (non superflex) draft data and looked at team win rate in relation to the positions selected with their first two picks. Would we see patterns? 

It's commonly said that you can't win your draft in the first two round, but you can lose it. There seems to be evidence of that. 

We'll discuss the best and worst opening moves based on the win rates of the teams, along with some patterns that seemed to be evident based on positions that were drafted.

We participated in a live FFPC $35 Best Ball Draft on Sunday night (3/3) of the NFL combine weekend.  We go round by round for the first half of the draft, discussing team approaches, and the psychological difference between a live draft versus a slow draft. 

At the end of the draft we analyze the final roster construction applied by each team, and refer to our 2018 Best Ball Win Rate data to see if anyone strayed too far off the path of what would be considered a reasonable team composition. 

FFPC is a TE premium format (1.5 PPR) with the other positions receiving 1 PPR. 

The starting lineups, to be optimized in this best ball format, are:

1 QB ,  2 RB , 2 WR , 1 TE,  2 Flex (RB,WR,TE), 1 K, 1 D

Quick thoughts and observations from the Live FFPC Best Ball 35 draft that went off Friday night March 3rd.  P

Seems the NFL combine performances are already affecting player value significantly in the draft rooms.  

Always good to review the draft boards from a Live draft, rather than wait weeks for ADP to reflect changes in player value.
