In this special edition of our REACH podcast, Saskia Epstein-Tasgal talks to Jewish colleagues Zac Forman, Katharine Hurwitz and Jordana Moser about Passover and what it means to them.

Passover, known as Pesach in Hebrew, is an 8 day Jewish festival that was celebrated at the start of April, starting with a big meal called the Seder on the first 2 nights of the holiday. During this Seder, family and friends gather to retell the story of the Israelites escaping Egypt and ultimately their freedom from slavery.

It’s a time to reflect on this freedom and celebrate the rebirth as free people, whilst also getting together with family and friends and eating a festive meal.

The panel discusses what Passover means to them as different Jewish people, including how they observe Passover and some of their traditions and cultural experiences during this time.
