Sorry this took a few days to put up... On this (few day delayed ) episode of the Weekly Weekend Warrior. New domestic box office king Twisters 'blew' everyone's minds away with its powerful Category 5 storm sized domestic debut.. . I say goodbye to a few stars who left us in the last two weeks including the late Bob Newhart. in better news, Deadpool and wolverine finally opens Emma Roberts is engaged and not one but two new Barbie dolls made their debuts this week. Great news anime fans- we have a date for when The Boy and The Heron is coming to streaming. Plus .. What's this Celine Dion and Lady Gaga are performing at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics Opening ceremony. In honor of the Olympics, i take a look back at four Olympic games - centered film.. one of which just skated to its 20th anniversary back in February.

On this week’s News and Flashback Fun mini episode , I say goodbye to many stars including the legendary comedy actor Bob Newhart. Remember that adult Flintstones cartoon series Bedrock that Elizabeth banks was starring and producing ? Well.. it’s yabba-dabba-done and not happening. In much better news.. Emma Roberts is engaged and LeBron James is one of the USA torch bearers for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Big news Cobra Kai fans: Season 6 part 2 is karate kicking its way to Netflix two weeks earlier than planned. Plus for part of this week’s flashback fun films I go back to just over a month ago when a certain Disney/Pixar film gave Hollywood total and utter “Joy” .

On this week’s Weekly Weekend Warrior , Despicable Me 4 lit up the Fourth of July holiday weekend with a massive debut while runner up Inside Out 2 hit more milestones. Alas I say farewell to the late Shelly Duvall and Jon Landau. In better news, Shrek 5 and the last Conjuring film have release dates. Nicholas Cage’s next horror film arrives in theaters plus.. great news Godzilla fans.. Godzilla Minus One has a dvd debut month, I look back at three films-(one of which is getting a sequel this thanksgiving) and Twisters ‘blows into theaters next. On this week’s Weekly Weekend Warrior episode, to no one’s surprise current box office king Inside Out became the first 2024 film to get billion dollar club status… but A Quiet Place: Day One was right on its tail. Good news Wicked fans- the first part of the anticipated 2 part film adaptation of the smash broadway play won’t open against Moana 2.. instead it’s flown up to November 22, 2024 .. against Gladiator II giving the world another potential Barbieheimer like phenomenon. Axel foley finally returns to screens this week with Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. Plus The Boy and The Heron flies to dvd on July 9 and I’ve got 4 patriotic films in honor of the Fourth of July .

On this week’s News and Flashback Fun mini episode .. Gasp! Wicked movie part 1 has flown away from November 27 , 2024 and will now open up November 22 , 2024 putting Elphaba and Glinda against Gladiator II! .. plus Heads up Zac Synder fans apparently his version of Justice League is coming the theaters somehow. In better news- Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are growing their family and great news Monsterverse fans!The sequel to Godzilla x Kong : The New Empire has a date… but it’s not until March 2027.( Sorry..). I end the June Summer Scorching Blockbuster flashback feature with three high summer releases.. one one which brought audiences to “a galaxy far, far away...” 47 years ago.
