Joe and Brian are back to preview the Monday Night Football clash between two of the most storied franchises in the National Football League as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the New York Giants.
The 2-5 Giants have struggled on offense this season, making them a prime target for T.J. Watt and company. However, the Giants defense features the league’s leader in sacks, Dexter Lawrence, and is capable of playing spoiler against a still unproven Steelers offense and patchwork line.
Will this game give Pittsburgh momentum as they head into their bye week or will it be another case of Mike Tomlin playing down to lesser opponents?

They say there’s a thin line between genius and insanity. When something works, you look smart; when it doesn’t, you look foolish.
The decision to start Russell Wilson over Justin Fields was a wise move, as the Steelers soared past the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football with a 37-15 victory. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin quipped he gets “paid the big bucks” to make these decisions, and once again showed the league he’s playing chess instead of checkers with how he operates his team.

Joe flies solo on this late night following Friday’s festivities during Day Two of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had three draft picks during rounds two and three, addressing critical positions of need plus adding players with major upside. Zach Frazier, Roman Wilson, and Payton Wilson all add various levels of strength, speed and physicality to the Steelers roster while filling roles on the roster.
