Ricky finally pays the price of zero show prep as Richard bombards him with deep and heartfelt questions. We discuss our parents getting older, reflect on being in the industry for nearly five years now, and how we balance business and fam. But most importantly, Karen is back! So sit back and relax as we talk about ourselves while sipping on Maestro Dobel Diamante and snack on Huevos con Chorizo.

Our guest today is so incredible that not even Richard could memorize all the accolades for our intro - we welcome Chris Cossu! Chris is a jack of all trades and they are here to promote Edmonds' 3rd annual Porchfest, which will welcome over 70 musical artists to Edmonds this Saturday September 7th; including our very own - Richard Taylor Jr.. Join us as we get tatted up, talk creative energy, share how we activate community, and break down all things fingering (finger-picking, fingerlings, etc.. duh..). All while Richard almost dies from mildly spicy chilaquiles and we sip on Mi Casa Tequila.

We kick off this episode showing off our Mariachi skills before quickly diving into the GOAT conversation. Ricky also teaches Richard how scoring in golf works only to find out Richard could have been the next Tiger Woods. Yes, because he's black. Wowwwww this episode heats up as we sip on the goat's tequila Cincoro Añejo.

In a shocking turn of events Richard is able to ring the Clase Azul bell with no difficulty to kick us off into episode 17. Summer moves forward and campaign season heats up as we talk olympics, mariners, Taste of Edmonds, and of course make some Trump Impressions. All while we sip on one of the industry's best and most-known Tequila's, Clase Azul Reposado, and scarf down Santa Fe Salad's Major Payne style.

There's finally some tension between our hosts as we debate if R and R stands for Rick and Rich or Rich and Rick. We all know there's one correct answer... Sorry Richard! We reflect on the first half of the year and dive into the self imposed pressure and imposter syndrome so many of us battle. We also ponder if our drinks of choice are representations of ourselves - Old Fashioned's and Champagne. Pretty obvious who is who... All while we sip on 1800 Cristalino and snack on Chile Rellenos.

We got an amazing guest and an amazing cause you’ll want to get behind!! We welcome Kwabi Amoah-Forson to promote All-Youth-Can-Eat - a program to help feed kids and college students with food insecurity (Santa Fe Seattle participating Mondays!). Kwabi shares how he ended up creating the Peacebus, getting himself a mural and a lead acting role in an upcoming movie, and we get into a deep convo describing what peace means to us. Ricky also drops some 2pac versus to fit in with his black friends. But most of all - we talk about changing the lens from seeing things as charity to seeing them as human progress. All while we sip on Tequila Ocho Reposado and snack on some Kids quesadillas and tacos.

Today we bring in a true agave expert! Sean Cameron from Pacific Edge Wine and Spirits joins the show and breaks down his move from Philadelphia to Seattle and how it led him to a passion for Tequila and Mezcal. Yes, the real-life Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (or Ballard). We talk about the passion of our work, how to properly sip, and how to get off the beaten path to find the highest quality agave spirits. All while we sip on Campo Azul and snack on Chile Verde.
