"Ten years ago I decided to go back to university and study sports rehab, followed by a masters in Strength & Conditioning. I jumped straight in the deep end getting internships with London Bronco’s, The Forge Clinic, Cobham RFC and the Samoa Rugby. I was working in the NHS for three years in respiratory outpatients, then inpatients during the pandemic. Followed by a move to geriatric medicine. I decided that sport was where I wanted to be so I took a casual role at QPR. Three season later I am now working with the PDP and women’s first team. Over the last three months I took a little sabbatical to trade football for rugby league at London Broncos as senior GSR with the men’s 1st team and Head of rehab and S&C coach for the women's team. The immediate future involves hopefully seeing QPR women gain promotion to championship level and become full time footballers. As for the end game I’m slowly building my own clinic which will offer a broad spectrum of rehab and performance services for youth athletes, weekend warriors, professionals and older adults."

"Tim Chiarolanza is a major trauma survivor. After spending over a decade working to achieve his dream job, including two stints working in professional baseball as a minor league strength and conditioning coach, he was named the head of strength and conditioning at his Alma mater, Lycoming College. He spent about six weeks in the position before he was accidentally struck by a car on November 16, 2021 while chasing after his dog, whose leash had broken during a walk. He suffered life-threatening injuries, including a ruptured aorta in his heart. He has a traumatic brain injury that did not show up until three days following the accident. He was Life Flighted to Geisinger Medical Center, where he was given a 1% chance of survival. Following his time in the ICU at the hospital, he was transferred to Bryn Mawr Hospital for inpatient rehab. He was released from inpatient rehab at the end of January 2022. He currently lives in Doylestown, Pennsylvania with his wife and their dog, Finn, who was uninjured running into the street. He is currently starting a non-profit called Triumph In Recovery which assists people who have traumatic brain injuries, which Tim still suffers from due to his accident, trauma survivors, and stroke survivors. He is also writing a book, a peer mentor for brain injury patients at his rehab hospital, and working to begin a speaking career because he wants to help as many people as possible with his survival.

Football is my passion but more than just football, training and coaching footballers is even more of a passion. I have been training athletes for the past 15 years and watching young athletes, and professional athletes' development their technical and physical skills is something that I enjoy doing. In the last 9 years, I have been dedicating my time learning and developing my craft in the rehab/reconditioning process. Blending performance and rehab is a important process in what I do and what I love. I think one of the best things about sport is watching a player go through their reconditioning process, then transition back to team training, then watching them perform in matches. Early on, Julia realised there was little information specifically relating to the goalkeeper, their performance or their training. Many outfield coaches have bemoaned the lack of literature or guidance around coaching the goalkeeper and this has lead to a lack of specific goalkeeper coaching in many clubs. Therefore, through her coaching, research and dissemination, Julia has set out to redress this with a ‘something is better than nothing’ philosophy. "I worked with the Olympic Committee in Holland, I worked with a variety of sports including Table Tennis, Track Cycling and Volleyball, and I realised I would prefer to work in an environment where I would get to work every day with the same athletes, to get a become more process oriented, rather than being focused on tasks. Then Vitesse Arnhem was at the same location as the Olympic Committee, so I moved there for around 7 years, and met some really good coaches over there. One of them took me to Dubai to work with a team there as a Strength & Conditioning coach, and then I came back to work with Heerenveen in the same role. Then Peter Bosz, who I worked with at Vitesse called me, and asked whether I wanted to come and work at Bayer Leverkusen. I worked at Bayer 04 Leverkusen for 2 seasons before moving for just over a season to Olympique Lyon. Currently i’ve my got own company, TP Performance Coaching, and recently did consultancy work for Jumbo-Visma Roadcycling and a Premier League team. I'm currently waiting for the next big project."

"Mona Pretorius de Lacey is a 6-time Karate World Champion, CrossFit Games athlete, and a Commonwealth Games medalist in Olympic Weightlifting. She is currently part of the International Weightlifting Federation Athletes Commission. Mona also has an Honours Degree in Sport Psychology as well as an Honours Certificate in Mindfulness Training. She is also a mom to be currently 30 weeks pregnant, running her own online businesses as a Mental Performance Coach (Helping Psychology) and a Weightlifting Coach (Lift Big Eat Big).

"My name is Tanno de Pender, 30 years old from the Netherlands – I completed my MSc in Human Movement Sciences specialized in Sports & Nutrition at Maastricht University. I’ve been involved in strength training since I was 14, and got competitively involved in Powerlifting since 2016. Currently I’m a National Champion within the Netherlands in the -105kg class and hold multiple records in different weight classes in the Bench Press, Deadlift & Total. Furthermore, I work as an S&C Coach for TEAMNL, together with the Elite Track Cycling Sprint programme as well as for the talent development programmes for Track Cycling & BMX. I also work as an online Strength & Nutrition coach with Reformance – an online company working primarily with Powerlifters."
