This is the podcast where you get into the minds of 3 stoned and sober 20 year-olds, who went to university together and decided to come out of it with a podcast. We asked him about running his account and how he believes philosophy should be accessible to all. He sheds light on his own philosophical leanings, as well as different schools of thought and how to view education, crime and existence through the prism of philosophy.

Hello all and welcome to stoned and sober discussions on the Stoned & Sober podcast. This week we got on our very good University friend, Mr. Ollie, for his first appearance on the show. We got high and talked everything from the recent calls for a 4-day work week and what it means for the future of work, what gene we would add/remove from our current selection (some very interesting answers), England's chances at the Euros 2021 and reflecting on our shared time at university, now forever ravaged by Covid-19. This week, we interviewed author Dan McCrory, who has written a book called 'Capitalism Killed the Middle Class: 25 Ways the System is Rigged Against You', detailing all the ways the world system has been rigged against us to favour operations and big business. Anyone who has their eyes open to the world can see that this is the case! Apart from being an author, he's run for office, worked in Hollywood as a screenwriter and also been the publicist to Cliff Robertson, well-known for playing Uncle Ben in the 2002-2007 Spiderman trilogy! An overall cool dude, with a lot of wisdom and stories to tell, this was a great chat, and we wish Dan all the best in the future!

We sat down with Mitchell Gerber, a human rights activist working in Vietnam who has - for the past 20 years - spent his life trying to expose the horrifying actions that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) are undertaking, namely the forced organ harvesting of the Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong is a peaceful religious movement which, since it's arrival in the 90s, has been subject to this brutal persecution, it's own government harvesting their organs in a multi-millions dollar profit scheme, in the name of eradicating the movement entirely. What Mitchell had to say is very eye-opening, and a real problem the West is only just waking up to.
