1905 Captain Auble was appointment temporary Chief of the Los Angeles Police department. His position would last into 1906 when an election was held. A new mayor was elected and he appointment someone to take the position. Auble was reduced this is old position as Captain one of six.
The 10.39 minute story is about one of the most most beloved Chief in LA history and a man, Carl Sutherland, who happened to be Wyatt Earps nephew by marriage. It's all true, no legend here, just the historical truth.

Arthur at a young age ventured from this parents farm and headed to the twin territories of what is now Oklahoma. Unable to find work, he lived under the stars in Indian Territory. He survived by selling liquor to the natives. Soon the United States Marshals found out and came after him.
Arthur's life was drastically changed - for ever. Listen and learn of this life as a policeman, and as a bounty hunter in the early Twentieth Century.
