VOT: June 11, 2024 Shun mundane things “Embrace the Mindset of the Kingdom” M-factor” Since man lives on earth and sees things that are visible, it is natural to focus more on the material things or visible things of life. However, the invisible realm where God exists till eternity Has the best picture of every situation or reality of life. This is why God expects us not to limit ourselves through our own feelings or emotions, but rather create more room for those things which we do not m understand and will never understand. This is actually where giving people the benefit of doubt is very important in order to maintain peace all round. Let us create room in our hearts for the God who is constantly knocking at the door of our heart. As we let Jesus into our hearts, He is more than able and capable of fixing all things because He is the “All knowing God. Nuggets M-1: Make conscious efforts to let go of the excess weights that can pull you down or make you miss the purpose of God for your life. M-2: Make amends quickly once prompted by the Holy Spirit. God will never turn His back or despise one who Has a broken and a contrite spirit (pure heart). Be quick to repent and you will never be put to shame. M-3: Make adjustments that will put you fully on God’s side by maintaining an open mind, not allowing any negativity to cloud your mind or pollute your mind. M-4: Meditate on God’s Word often to have the same mind as Christ. This will aid your walk with God and make you to be more fruitful. “For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am know. ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

  • 410 - VOT: June 3, 2024-Price (Cross) precedes Prize (Crown) The C-P-factor”

VOT: June 3, 2024-Price (Cross) precedes Prize (Crown) The C-P-factor” The two words “Price” and Prize” sound alike, but are the opposite of one another. Price is the cost incurred or the cross we have to carry, while Prize is the reward or crown of glory, a blessing or gain coming after pain or sacrifice. Our saviour Jesus Christ is our heavenly role model while we have several examples of saints like Apostle Paul who suffered persecution and humiliation on earth before they obtained their Heavenly crown in glory. Our saviour Jesus Christ suffered on earth for the joy that was ahead and the glory reserved for Him in Heaven. He passed through the earthly pain, shame, pain and humiliation. This He endured by carrying the cross “C-factor” which was the pathway to receiving the crown in glory or the worthy prize and victory. The “Well done” or crown Jesus won did not come cheap. There was a price paid by the shedding of His potent blood on Calvary. In like manner if we claim Him (Jesus Christ) as our example, we must tap into the grace which was provided for us by the redemptive power of the blood. Every glorious destiny or purpose will be tested, tried and is expected to come out true, shining as Gold. Jesus Christ is the “Truth” that endures forever. While all other sources or men might fail due to their lack of ability and capacity, we can count on Him (Jesus Christ) to come out victorious as “winners” However we must make Him the bishop of our soul and our anchor, ensuring that we stay connected to the Holy Spirit by God’s exceeding grace. Nuggets “C-P” factor 1. Cross is the cost (Price) yields Crown (Prize) Your earthly cross represents challenges, trials or temptation which is the cost or “Price” with confidence that in eternity you will obtain a “Crown” and “Prize” (reward) worthy of the praise and glory of God. 2. Confidence & Purpose: Confidence and trust in God is essential for you to fulfill God’s plan and “Purpose” for your life. The temporal pain is working for you a permanent gain and greater weight of glory. You must have the “Overcomer mentality” 3. True Christianity is not denying the cross, but carrying it daily with the winning attitude and mindset, knowing that Jesus Christ is ahead leading the way, because He is the way, the truth and life. John 14:6. “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  • 409 - VOT: July 8, 2024-Grace as Gas/Fuel: Do not be a “Grace waster”

VOT: July 8, 2024-Grace as Gas/Fuel: Do not be a “Grace waster” The Word “Grace” is so commonly used, yet very powerful. It is not a “cliche” Many use the word “Grace” with a negative motive of not desiring to accomplish the set goals and with the mind that once anyone hears the word, they will be convinced that they truly mean what they say. However often times we discover that it is used in deception or without being truly persuaded. It has became an escape route or false excuse that is assumed to validate the intent of the heart. Some also feel it’s the best way to prove their sincerity. With these myths in mind, it is safer to trust God only and make room for any disappointments or unexpected drawbacks which is very common and may seem usual to men. The Word of God admonishes us not to trust man wholeheartedly because man is mortal and may sometimes be helpless even when there is a strong desire or will to be a doer of God’s Word. The greatest helper is God “The Holy Spirit” who equips and empowers us by Grace. Grace is a very essential need or necessity which is likened to Gas or fuel, that a vehicle needs to embark on or continue a journey. We, as God’s creation must constantly look unto God to supply this essential gas or fuel called “Grace” in order to have a safe and fulfilled journey in life. It covers every area of life and is a necessity just as gas is a necessity for any journey. Nugget: Acronym of Grace-Gas G.R.A.C.E 1. G: God factor makes it available. Grace is available, and is given freely to as many who ask for it. Please note the word “ASK” is key. It is not based on assumption because it is in varying measure. 2. R: Reliability on God. Without God we cannot obtain Grace. He is the author and finisher of our faith and is the supplier of the “Grace-Gas” 3. A: Availability and Ability are possible through the Power provided by Grace 4. C: Confidence in God-Christ-centred and Christ-focused 5. E: Empowerment and Exceeding strength beyond human comprehension. G.A.S 1. G: Go the extra mile to fulfill God’s will 2. A: Actively move you forward 3. S: Stay focused; Salvation guaranteed; Sufficiency. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

VOT: May 7, 2024: Praise delivers from Prison” (Spiritual or Physical) P-factor Case Study: Paul & Silas (Acts 16: 16). The P-factor. The antidote of Pain is Praise. It is important to note that God sometimes allows us to go through experiences which may not appear pleasant at the beginning, but will always work together to bring glory to God and give us reasons to praise God. Paul and Silas were trapped in the Prison temporarily, but they praised their way out of the Prison. Praise shuts the door of discouragement and breakdown and opens the door of deliverance and breakthrough. 1. P-1: Plead for mercy. It is wisdom to clear the way by ensuring we repent either wrong or right. Mercy and Grace are signs of humility which begets favour. 2. P-2: Partner with God The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. You just develop fellowship with the Godhead and be led by the Holy Spirit. 3. P-3: Praise God even when you cannot see any changes and in a short time, the pain will turn to gain. Paul and Silas demonstrated this principle and they saw the miraculous hand of God deliver them from the Prison. 4. P-4: Power is released through praise. After Paul and Silas praised God and all around them including the Jailers were saved. “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.” Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬-‭28‬, ‭30‬-‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

  • 407 - VOT: March 26, 2024 A missed step must not stop your advancement “Take another step forward”

VOT: March 26, 2024 A missed step must not stop your advancement “Take another step forward” Do not be so discouraged when you make any mistake or miss your step on your journey. You must always have the mindset of forward ever and backward never regardless of whether you intentionally miss your step while in motion or mistakenly take a wrong direction. Life can sometimes appear to be such that you feel you got it all correct due to your human judgement or assumptions, but later discover you were wrong by your own discovery or someone pointing it to you. In this glorious journey of life, God will sometimes allow you or permit you to fail so that you can learn to do it better and even become the best in the future. For instance, someone who may have failed a professional exam may turn out to be the best at their profession if they refuse to quit, but rather are quick to make the necessary adjustments and put in a little more effort or energy to be the best. While men are quick to write their fellow men off, God is always ready to give many chances to as many who refuse to stay in the pit or stay down. The Bible tells us that the righteous may fall seven times, but still rise to the top. David was known and recognized by God as a man after His heart because he did not entertain shame or fear each time he fell short of the glory of God, but rather was quick to repent. The Lord will never despise a broken and contrite spirit. Brokenness (total repentance) often leads to all round wholeness and total restoration. Humility is a great asset that will lift you far beyond your imagination and comprehension. Nugget 1. Whenever you make a mistake, don’t stay in the defeated or discouraged place or position, but rise up and try again. There are no super stars in the Kingdom, but only “Kingdom stars” marvelously helped by God. 2. It is better to move and miss your step which can be adjusted than not take any step. The four lepers at the gate of Samaria were afraid to move initially because of the Syrians. However when they took the bold step to go forward, to their greatest surprise what they feared so greatly had been arrested by God. ”For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.“ ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭24‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ”But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”“ James‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ”The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.“ Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. ”Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.” And they rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians; and when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there.“ ‭‭II Kings‬ ‭7‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
