Los Angeles, CA — We, the undersigned, are deeply disturbed by the allegations of racial abuse and bullying leveled against ZURI Rosales, also known as Charms and Crowns, a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School in Los Angeles.

According to a former classmate and several students, ZURI Rosales has a pattern of disrespect, bullying, and racial profiling, particularly against black women and their hair.

The accusations against ZURI Rosales are serious and deeply troubling. Police reports and cease-and-desist letters, along with pictures as proof, have been distributed to this press release. The allegations suggest that ZURI Rosales has been stalking and trying to create racial tension “Racism in the Beauty Industry: Graduate of Paul Mitchell School Accused of Racial Abuse and Bullying Against Black Women and Their Hair”
between Hispanics and black women at Paul Mitchell.

The student who came forward to report ZURI Rosales’ behavior against a military veteran that runs a community organization that helps black women with Alopecia regain their self-love. It is deeply concerning that someone like ZURI Rosales, who allegedly calls herself a “texture specialist,” would engage in this kind of behavior. While ZURI Rosales may date a black man and hang out with black people, it is alleged that she is absolutely 100% racist, according to the students in the press release.

We call on ZURI Rosales to take responsibility for her actions and apologize to those she has harmed. We also urge the management of CNS SALON on 215 West 6th St in Los Angeles, where ZURI Rosales works, to investigate these allegations and take appropriate action. We believe that racism has no place in our society, and we must all work together to combat it whenever and wherever it occurs.

A former student of Paul Mitchell Pasadena has come forward with serious allegations of sexual harassment and racial discrimination against Peggy Cao, Jayson Fernandez, and Mike Burt. The student has filed police reports and cease-and-desist letters alleging that these individuals have engaged in racially discriminatory and harassing and sexual, emotional, physical, and stalking behaviour.

Mike Burke, a teacher from Florida who also goes by the name Michael Burt, has been named in these allegations. Peggy Cao is personal friends with Mike Burt, and multiple women have accused him of being racist and abusive.

Despite being black, Jayson Fernandez has also been accused of being lazy and dropping the ball. and conspiring against students. In addition, Peggy Cao has been accused of violating Title IX by suspending the student immediately after she reported Mike for sexual and emotional harassment. This suspension was illegal.

You can’t be in there without your ID so when I went to the guy, I asked him for my cash.A woman came to me and said I need your ID. I said to her I just gave you my ID she says I don’t know who you are. You didn’t give me your ID the way she said it was nasty and I was taken aback!!!

Tone is everything.I’ve took my ID and I held it up so that she could see it. It was there in plain sight instead of looking at it she took it out of my hands by snatching it and then put it right up to her face to her eyes so that she could read it and then handed it back to me.This was all done and aggressive manner. It was body language that was aggressive.

There was a guy that was there and he was working the front desk and I was sharing with him how I felt he saw the whole thing and he talked me down because he saw where I was really upset during the conversation of talking to him Dee!! who is the woman the blonde heavy set manager that was aggressive that snatch my ID out of my hands, began to then aggressively, follow me in the store.She was staring at me as I was talking to the guy from behind and eaves dropping on the conversation.I was leaning up against the glass case.

Born French-Georgian, Van Hechter is a Montreal-based pop artist with an edge; he is funny, cutting, at times political, yet his tracks are catchy and always easy to dance to… — He grew up between Canada, France and the U.S.A., studied opera, literature and cinema in college, then dropped everything to become a punk singer, joining a locally successful band which he renamed Audiobing. After disbandment, Van focused on writing and music production, but in 2017, he returned to his first love; singing, releasing ”Van Unlikely”, which reunited him with Montreal/Toronto/Miami crowds…

In June 2019, he released ”Love Elastic”— a hyper-uplifting song about love in the 21st century… Slogan goes like so; ”Because true love isn’t possessive, it is flexible, it morphs through time and doesn’t break. It is elastic…”
The music video did very well on YouTube and got the track radio airplay in the UK.
This got the attention of NYC record label Lafayette Street Records's president Iggy Kizil, who signed Van to a 7 track EP which was released on July 15th 2020.
Already 2 singles are being played on NYC, Miami, Detroit and Latin American radio stations--- and MTV will feature ''Love Elastic'' in August/September.
When asked about the core of his art, Van's response is;
''My music is about self-mockery. I believe in the power of humor and dance! I glamorize everything--- especially my darkest sides, to make them look even more ridiculous. I tell you about my silliness, expose myself for the fool that I am in each song. Hopefully you will relate and laugh!! -- That’d be my greatest ambition; to help someone, somewhere take themselves a little less seriously. If I do that just a few times in my life; I’ll die a happy man!''

Impostor is a DIY / home studio cyber-funk artist who combines elements of electronic music with funk, disco, hip-hop and synth-pop influences. Impostor is an alter ego. The artist has chosen anonymity to keep the attention focused on the music. In December 2016, Impostor self-released the debut album 'Storytelling' on Way Past Cool Records. This album was a proof of concept project to see if an album could be released from end to end without using the conventional industry process (i.e. the album was recorded produced and mastered entirely on iPad/ Mac Air). This was swiftly followed by the EP release of 'Wake-Up America' in 2017 which was released in response to socio-political turmoil of recent times. Impostor has since self- released 2 more albums ('Imagine' - 2018, 'Road To Damascus' – 2019) continuing the unconventional mode of recording. For designer Emily Daccarett fashion and music can not be separated. Daccarett creates an immersive world of storytelling through music, film, and fashion. Each artistic direction begins with a beat that forms a story. From the start of her brand, she has fused those worlds together, creating a symbiotic flow between the two. She uses textiles, shapes, and sound as her tools to world-building, and gives her audience the chance to step into those stories and experience it themselves. She graduated from Instituto Marangoni in Paris and the prestigious Ecole De La Chambre Syndicale de La Couture Parisienne, where she trained in the French technique of draping and pattern making. Soon after graduated from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. She made her runway debut with Concept Shows during LA Fashion Week. Now she is pushing the boundaries of her imagination through synth-pop. Think of Blondie and David Lynch having a baby in 2020 and that's the direction her music takes.

This was Damon's first music production.

Early Life
Olli was born on 12th September 1970 in Watford, United Kingdom to his parents. His mother is from South America and his father from Africa.
Olli is the first of three children.
In 1974, his mother with her children travelled to Africa to join her husband who already left United Kingdom to Africa.

Education
At the age of five, Olli attended the Unijos Staff Primary School, Africa. In 1980, he sat for the National Entrance exams and passed all his papers including the interviews and was given the admission letter to Baptist High School (a Missionary school run by Americans). In 1986, Olli sat for the General Certificate of Education in eight subjects where he passed all.
He gained admission into Federal Polytechnic to read Civil Engineering in 1986 and obtained Ordinary National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1988.
In 1988, he gained admission into the University at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Nigeria to study Civil Engineering and obtained a degree in Engineering in 1995.

Musical Career
In 1986, Olli joined the St. Pirans Church Youth Fellowship where he participated as one of the back-ups in the choir.
At the age of 19, he joined the Victory Choir in Bauchi State as one of the tenor singers whilst he was a student. He also participated as one of the back-ups in the Chapel Band and played the set drums.
In 1995, he joined the Solid Rock Choir in Abuja and hence Olli has now built on that Foundation which has now led him to become a gospel songwriter/singer. He was also inspired by so many gospel artists like Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Nicole C. Mullen. For further details, please visit www.olli-one.co.uk.
