Wed, 29 Jul 2020 - 73 - A New Kind of Doctor Patient Relationship with Dr Nick
The longer we are in this whole COVID situation, the more I realize that probably one of our biggest challenges is the abundance of misinformation and the lack of trust in governments, organizations and in healthcare professionals in general… In this conversation, Dr Nick and I talk about several things but, when it comes to a doctor patient relationship, we both agree that (1) you might not see eye to eye with your doctor, or maybe you don't feel that trust to open up… And, truth is… that's ok. It doesn't make you or your doctor a bad person. You simply don't gel. Which brings me to (2) in those cases, it's ok to switch doctors. In fact, it's better for you to switch doctors and find one that you trust, one that you feel understands you and whose guidance you will actually follow.
