In this podcast episode, Myon Veenendaal and Marinte Sopacua welcome Evelyn van Hasselt and Karlijn Visser. Together they form the editorial team of the online magazine ‘Holistik’ that they founded in 2016, without a publishing house. This makes Holistik a 100% independent and self-made platform Together with Myon and Marinte, they talk about finding balance in working together, authenticity and why holism is a very practical approach to life.

Te gast is voedingsdeskundige, kookboekenschrijfster en TV-kok Sandra Ysbrandy. Samen met Myon en Tony spreekt zij over het belang van het eten van onbewerkte voeding, hoe je een gezond dieet kunt handhaven zonder uren in de keuken door te brengen en waarom het belangrijk is om te eten wat het seizoen je biedt.

Merle Dittrich is product developer / creative project manager bij 10DAYS. Ze speelde een cruciale rol bij de ontwikkeling van de 10DAYS geurlijn, die in januari van dit jaar werd gelanceerd. Samen met Myon, Tony en Monique vertelt ze hoe de ingrediënten van de parfums aansluiten op de karakters van onze founders, de samenwerking met het parfumhuis in Grasse en haar rol als productionele rechterhand van Barbara.

Myon en Tony spraken onlangs met Fleur en Sven Romijn, eigenaren van Van Dort Mode, sinds jaar en dag wholesale klant van 10DAYS.

Wing Pappot-Nguyen joins this month’s podcast. As retail manager, Wing is responsible for the 10DAYS concept stores in Amsterdam and Westfield Mall of the Netherlands.

Marinte Sopacua works as a business developer at 10DAYS. As member of the Dutch sales team, she is responsible for expanding our brand in regions where 10DAYS does not yet have a sufficient presence yet. Together with Myon and Tony, she talks about a changing retail landscape, the importance of long-lasting relationships with retailers and how shopping sprees with her grandmother formed the base of her interest in fashion.

Today's guest is Dutch pianist Iris Hond. Her love for the piano already started at a very early age in life and nowadays she plays the biggest concert halls with music she composed herself as well as work from others. Next to this she founded the Iris Hond Foundation, aiming to bring live music to those who have no or limited access to this (homeless- or imprisoned people, people who are sick etc).

Cynthia Abma is a Dutch actress, born in Rotterdam.

Cynthia studied at the Faculty of Drama at the Hogeschool van de Kunst in Utrecht and played roles in various films and TV series. Next to this she did theater and presented several TV programs

She is also a EFT therapist and works as an intimacy coordinator on film sets, helping to ensure a safe atmosphere during filmshoots between actors, directors and the crew.

In this episode Myon talks with Cynthia about how she prepares for a role and character she’s playing, what the importance of setting (and pushing) boundaries is and the joy of renovating a holiday home in France.

In this episode we talk to Jolien van Es about the production process of creating timeless, sustainable garments. What does it take to produce our clothing once it is designed? What challenges does she face and what does 10DAYS find important when determining fabric, detailing and dying?

Jolien started at 10DAYS as an intern and is now manager of the production department, leading a team in Amsterdam and overseeing all communication with our suppliers, mainly in Portugal.

Tony started working at 10DAYS 8 years ago, first as Visual Merchandiser and now as senior account manager.

He is one of 10DAYS key figures. With love and enthusiasm, Tony presents the 10DAYS collections to retailers every season in his showroom.

Myon talks with him about the importance of visual merchandising, building long-term relationships with retailers and his dream of having his own store one day.
