    In our #teamrun2pb athlete interview this week, we introduce you to Isaac Oppenheimer, a dedicated runner from the tiny island nation of Nauru. Isaac's running journey began with Movember, and he quickly fell head over heels for the sport. Despite the unique challenges of training on a small island, Isaac has made significant strides under the guidance of Coach James.

    We'll hear about Isaac's favorite workouts, the lessons he's learned from his coach, and his recent race experiences, including his impressive performances on the brisbane road running scene and also competing at the Australian Transplant Games.

    On this weeks episode of Better with Running Podcast, Chriso hits the traditional 8 x 1km session and battles on in the last few reps, to round out an impressive 76k week!

    Zacca continues to reload with more consecutive runs and gym sessions, before going a bit rogue on latest run that prompted a listener question.

    This weeks #teamrun2pb athlete interview is with Brad White, after starting running in 2020, and joining run2pb to be coached by Brady Threlfall in 2022, we hear about Brad’s running journey from a footballer who would bank time early to an accomplished marathoner.  

    We hear about his most recent marathon in Chicago, where he ran 3:00:44 with a negative split. The build included a comprehensive look at the nutritional side of things as well as dedicated and consistent build around a busy family and work life.

    Brad finishes with the quick questions and touches on his newly formed Drysdale Run Club and what it is doing for the local community.

    Tune in to this week's Better with Running Podcast! Chriso shares his 70km training week, featuring a tough 5k session and a grueling long run. Zacca, on the other hand, is battling a niggle and focusing on recovery through mobility and strength training.

    This weeks guest joins all the way from the UK, he signed up back in April of 2021 wanting to run the London marathon and going sub 90 for a half marathon. Over the last 3 years he has lowered his 5km PB to 18:51, achieved that sub 90 half marathon going 1:29:53 at Surrey and most recently a 4 minute PB at the Abingdon Marathon going 3:24:33.

    This week on Better With Running, Chris and Zacca share their training highs and lows. Chris continues to impress, with another session of grueling 400m intervals and a successful long run. Zacca, on the other hand, experiences a training week full of twists. He starts strong with a fantastic session on Saturday, leaving him feeling motivated and race-ready. However, his long run takes a turn for the worse, forcing him to DNF (Did Not Finish) due to quad issues. We hear about Zacca's emergency treatment with Run2PB legend & physio James Telford, and his journey back to running pain-free.

    Next, Joshua Webster from Run4Rossy joins the show. They delve into the upcoming event at Caulfield Grammar this weekend. Joshua shares the inspiring story behind the event, which honors the legacy of Chris Ross and his "List for the Living"

    The episode concludes with a spotlight on a phenomenal #teamrun2pb athlete, James Allen. James signed up for coaching by Matt Davy in April 2023 with a previous marathon PB of 4:04 and a simple goal of having a "good" marathon. Fast forward to the Melbourne Marathon this year, and James crossed the finish line with an incredible 3:06, smashing his PB. We get to hear James' running journey, the valuable lessons he learned under Matt's guidance, and his answers to Chris's signature quickfire questions.
