Passage: 1 Kings 13:1–14:20 Just as King Jeroboam is about to sacrifice on his new altar at Bethel, God sends a prophet from Judah to confront him. Given another chance to repent and turn away from his sin, Jeroboam refuses, only to find that his son becomes very ill. It’s election time, and as a Christian, you might be wondering what the right thing is to do.
