Total emission is an important facet of an entity's environmental impact, however, it tells an incomplete story, the emission intensity which reflects the efficiency of using the resources is a more appropriate measure.  GHG intensity of the investee companies will help the investors choose wisely amongst the sustainable companies that efficiently utilize inputs.
