The loss left Chris and Dave wondering if they’d accidentally turned into a horror film. The Packers’ offense was littered by dropped passes and penalties, looking more lost than a Floridian in a snowstorm. Meanwhile, the Lions played like they were on vacation, handling the elements with aplomb while the Packers looked like a team that usually plays in a dome. With each foible, it became clear: the only thing more dank and moist than the weather was Green Bay’s performance.

In a sweltering Week 8 matchup that had players melting like fondue, Green Bay slithered past the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27 courtesy of yet another last second field goal. Despite missing Jordan Love for most of the second half, the Packers showed they could take the Satanesque 84 degree heat combined with the not-quite-saturated 46% humidity. Trevor Lawrence and the Jags wilted (even through they didn't have to travel an entire Time Zone like the Packers had to). If the season ended today, it would be a great disappointment for NFL fans who are expecting nine more games, but the Packers would be in the playoffs. However, as Chris and Dave note, the road for Green Bay gets steeper from here.
