The Lord Jesus Christ had earlier said during his earthly ministry, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.He spoke of the heaven and earth as something less or inferior to his word

This looks similar to being called a “royal priesthood”. In the old testament there was a clear distinction between Kingship and the Priesthood. In the new testament both have been fused into one

He looked and saw a door opened in heaven.The idea here was not about the heavens opening, but of him seeing the door opened.

Grace is God’s love in action.It is the expression of God’s love to you.God so loved the world that he went beyond talking about it, but acted by giving Jesus Christ. God loves you more than you love yourself and will never stop loving you.

We are labourers together with God; we are not just called to labour “for” him, we called to labour “with” him. Heaven is dependent on our labours upon the earth.

I had once said to someone “cry if you have to, but don’t cry forever”.This means occasions might arise here on earth that could move you to tears.Have you ever thought of the possibility of not having any reason to cry?

Physical death is not the end for a human being ,it is simply a transition to the next phase of existence.At that time there will be no more room for salvation.

There is a future ceremony prophesied about in the holy scriptures known as the marriage feast of the lamb.The Bride of Christ will be dressed or arrayed in fine linen, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The Lamb slain has a book called the book of Life.There is a connection between the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and those recorded in the book of Life

There are scenarios that play out in Scripture that assure us of how far God can go for us as believers.The eyes of the Lord run to and fro the earth to show himself mighty on our behalf.

Your Christ originated faith should also be “Christ influenced” in how it is expressed.God is not just interested in you receiving salvation.He is also interested in how you live it out

Every believer in Christ is “twice born”. First of all born of the flesh by the will of Parents, and then born of the Spirit by the will of God

The humanity of Jesus Christ was expressed in different ways.In the gospel of John, it says “the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us”. God himself partook of flesh and blood, he took on the physical nature of human beings.

The authorised voice today from heaven to us is that of Jesus Christ.God is still saying to us “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear him”.

The scriptures don’t only show us our identity in Christ, it also speaks of the expected conduct of the believer in Christ.

We are the seed of Abraham, and heirs of the promise. God swore by himself, since he could not swear by anyone greater.

There is such a thing as the “Doctrine of Righteousness” which is fundamental for every believer.The doctrine of righteousness is also the standard of measure for spiritual growth or maturity.

We still have a High Priest, who functions in the order of Melchizedek and he is a priest forever.This is not a temporary priesthood, it is an eternal priesthood.

God made special arrangements for you as a believer in Christ Jesus.You must have read from scriptures about how God preserved ,provided for and protected the Israelites, yet they were not the ones referred to as heirs of salvation.

Salvation is an actual union with Christ, you are joined in one body with Christ.This miraculous union has immeasurable benefits, not just a few goodies.

No human can take the credit for salvation. It was initiated, packaged and delivered by God. It is truly an extension of a ‘wholly undeserved’ favour.

The purpose of giving himself was to redeem us from “all” iniquity.

We are products of what we have heard. Your life will constantly gravitate towards the words or messages you are exposed to.

God shows himself alive to this “congregation”.God manifests himself alive to this assembly of people, of which you are a part

The scripture implies that those in authority and other humans can affect how you live your life.The unsaved people of this world and those in authority can make the practice of your faith difficult and frustrating.

There should be a concern about how we as believers “walk”.Our “walk” is how we conduct our lives in our day to day activities.

There is a tradition of Christ for those who are in Christ Jesus.It is a heavenly way of life that is higher and superior to any human tradition.

Be enterprising, focused and honourable in your financial dealings.God’s plan for abundance requires from you a culture of enterprise.

Every believer in Christ has a responsibility to labour in the gospel of Christ. Jesus had earlier said “the harvest truly is plenty, but the labourers are few.There will always be room for more labourers.

There are several God ordained ideas in your heart that Satan will resist from coming to pass. Ideas and intentions don't come to pass just because they are from God

The message we bear are not just words.This gospel of Christ committed to our trust is full of life and power.

What about your “course”? Will you also finish it? Paul’s statement teaches us that there is a path set out for us in Christ.

You are not supposed to shy away from the afflictions of the gospel.Your responsibility in Christ includes sharing in the afflictions of the gospel.

God wants us to enjoy the things he gives to us.He wants you to enjoy salvation, the infilling of the Holy Spirit and every other blessing.What makes all these more interesting is that he gives us “richly”.

Exercising in God is required daily, not weekly or occasionally.Exercising daily in God should become a lifestyle and not an event.

There is such a thing as “boldness of faith”.Paul the Apostle once wrote to Timothy saying “God has not given us the Spirit of timidity”.

Doing right or “well doing” is a lifestyle for the believer, not an occasional event.For example you are human, you shouldn’t get tired of being human.

Believing in Christ Jesus comes along with blessings, advantages, gifts, persecutions and trials of your faith.Persecutions and trials are part of the package here in this world.

It is very important to know that Jesus Christ did not die as a martyr, he died as our sin substitute.He was God’s sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world.

The believer in Christ received both a “new life” and a “new lifestyle”.The new lifestyle is a product and the outworking of the new life.

This Second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth is different from the catching away of the saints which is also known as the rapture of the Church.

The word of God doesn’t only teach you about your relationship with God, there is also so much about your relationship with people.

Your spirit needs to be constantly strengthened with supernatural ability.We cannot live the supernatural life without miracle working ability.

Salvation is being united with Christ.You are now joined and fused into Christ to be a part of his body.

The Scriptures don't just stop at instructing you to pray, but goes further to show you what exactly to pray for and how.

Religion is about man trying to find and please God.I believe every human has a void in his heart that only God can fill.

.The basis for your justification is faith in what has been done for you, not faith in what you are doing.

One of the foundational teachings every believer must have is how to turn away from ‘salvation by self-help’ to absolute trust in the finished works of Christ.

You were summoned into the grace of Christ.You responded to the call the day you received Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Are you giving attention to “a ministry” you assigned to yourself or “the ministry” you received in the Lord?

You were rescued from the kingdom of darkness.From the control and influence of the devil and demonic spirits.This means even if you were in active demonic or occult practices, being in Christ has delivered you.

Our scripture talks about “the blessing that issues from generosity”.There is a blessing that comes from acts of generosity.

You must not allow today to be dented with the accidents and misfortunes of yesterday.

Without a renewed mind, a believer might never agree with the interest of Christ.

You can determine the end result of what is happening to you right now.Your present experiences whether good or bad can actually serve to advance and give a renewed impetus to the spreading of the gospel.
