Oran Alexander Routh was arrested this week after authorities searched his Greensboro, North Carolina, home “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation,” and found hundreds of files depicting child sexual abuse, an FBI agent said in court papers.
Investigators who seized multiple electronic devices found videos sent to Oran Routh in July as well as chats from a messaging application commonly used by people who share child sexual abuse material, the FBI agent said.

He faces two charges of possessing and receiving child sexual abuse material and is expected to appear later Tuesday in federal court in North Carolina.

A bipartisan group of four House members is advocating for a constitutional amendment allowing for the quick replacement of Congress members in the event of a mass-casualty attack. Rep. Derek Kilmer (D-Wash.) with Reps. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), William Timmons (R-S.C.), and Emanuel Cleaver II (D-Mo.) put forth a proposal to ensure that Congress can continue its work if a large number of members are killed in a mass attack.

This proposal aims to ensure continuous representation and prevent violence from shifting political power. "We’ve seen a 300 percent increase in threats against members over the last seven years," noted Rep. Derek Kilmer.

The amendment would require House members to provide a list of potential replacements to their state’s governor. Filling vacancies quickly would help maintain stability and deter political violence. However, passing such an amendment is challenging due to the need for a two-thirds congressional vote and state ratification.

Richard Primus, a constitutional law professor at the University of Michigan, suggested lawmakers should also consider changing the Presidential Succession Act, which includes the speaker of the House and the president pro tempore of the Senate in the line of succession.

His work included creating and implementing the first DoD and intelligence community (IC) scorecarding initiative, boosting whole-of government cybersecurity and multidomain responses to threat actor and nation hostile actions.

Colonel Mills’ 33-year U.S. Army and Army Reserves career culminated in his serving as a senior liaison between DHS and DoD for complex homeland security operations. Earlier, he helped establish and advise foreign national military and security forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Bosnia, South Korea, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His roles spanned joint and inter-agency operations, psychological operations (PSYOP), intelligence activities, special operations, strategic planning, and public affairs.

In addition to his work at TSG, Colonel Mills serves as an adjunct assistant professor for the Cybersecurity Law and Policy program at the University of Maryland, Global Campus.

Former Green Beret, Jeremy Brown, served from 1992 to 2012 and retired as a master sergeant. He was arrested in Tampa, Florida, on Sept. 30 2021. Brown was charged with knowingly entering a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and knowingly disrupting the orderly conduct of government business or official functions, according to the Justice Department. On Jan. 6, 2021, Brow received a sentence of seven years in federal prison Friday for having two illegal guns, a set of hand grenades and a classified military document at his Tampa home. Brown is one of more than two dozen current and former military service members to have been charged over their alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 riots.

United Sovereign Americans (USA), a conservative group behind a concerted effort to remove voters from voting rolls across the country, filed a lawsuit targeting Florida’s voter rolls — the second such lawsuit the group filed this month.

In the Florida lawsuit filed on Aug. 19, USA — along with a host of co-plaintiffs including Citizens Defending Freedom, a voter and eight Republican candidates running in the upcoming general election — allege the state is violating the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and state law by failing to remove ineligible voters from its voter rolls.

The group claims to have obtained information proving there were “more than sixty-three (63) voting system errors in the entire ballot tabulation for all ballots cast in the 2022 election in Florida” that led to “hundreds of thousands of potential errors” in the 2022 general election.

The complaint alleges there were a mass number of illegal votes cast because of duplicate voter registrations, inactive status and a host of other reasons. The lawsuit also argues the state is violating the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) because it exceeds the acceptable federal error rate in a state’s voter systems — one error in every 125,00 votes.

How many times have you read a story or watched a news program or podcast about someone being pulled over for a traffic stop and then the cop ends up accusing the driver of a crime? United Sovereign Americans, in conjunction with various Pennsylvania voters, represented by Bruce Castor Jr of van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin, & Lindheim, has filed a federal lawsuit against the State of Pennsylvania, various Commonwealth officials, the United States Department of Justice, and United States Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding errors in the results of the 2022 general election in Pennsylvania which rendered the results unreliable.

Petitioners assert that, “Congress set minimum standards for every federal election to be considered reliable. In Pennsylvania’s 2022 federal election those minimum standards were not met by Commonwealth election officials...” Citing hundreds of thousands of errors in the registration records resulting in significant numbers of uncertain votes, as well as a discrepancy of over 9,000 more votes tabulated than voters who voted, the lawsuit describes the situation in no uncertain terms.

Today, we as Americans come together in order to honor and reflect on our nation’s flag, the proud symbol that has inspired us throughout our history, embodying our spirit of unity, resilience, and identity. As we explore its origins and history, we first focus on the early flags that accompanied our quest for independence and the crucial role they played in shaping our nation.

Let us turn our attention to the Grand Union Flag, also known as the Continental Colors. This flag was first raised on December 3, 1775, by the Continental Army under General George Washington. At this critical moment in history, the 13 original colonies were fighting as a united front, even though all the while a significant number of the colonists were professing loyalty to the British Crown. This flag’s design—a combination of thirteen red and white alternating stripes representing the thirteen colonies, and the British Union Jack in the canton—reflected this awkward and contentious duality. The stripes signified unity and common cause among the colonies, while the Union Jack symbolized continued allegiance to the British crown and their hopes for a peaceful resolution within the Empire.

A common misconception about our flag pertains to the colors red, white, and blue. Many believe that these colors were chosen for symbolic meaning—red for valor, white for purity, and blue for vigilance. However, these meanings were actually ascribed years later. It is more pragmatically thought that red, white, and blue were chosen simply because they were the king's colors. In fact, the flag of each colony that flew over every colonial capital bore those colors. It’s only natural, since these colors were, of course, very familiar, and moreover represented authority, making them a logical choice for the early American flags.

Next, let us turn our attention to another significant flag in our nation’s history — Washington's Headquarters Flag. During the harsh winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge, General George Washington and his Continental Army faced severe hardships, including cold weather, lack of supplies, and disease. Despite these immense challenges, this period was crucial for the army's training and cohesion, largely thanks to the efforts of Baron von Steuben.

Washington’s Headquarters Flag is notable for its simplicity and distinctive design. The entire field of the flag is blue, featuring 13 white six-pointed stars arranged in a 3-2-3-2-3 pattern—five rows of alternating stars. This design marked the first use of the multi-star pattern as an American flag, a precursor to the stars on our current flag. Unlike today’s five-pointed stars, the six-pointed stars in this flag may have been influenced by European heraldic traditions. It’s also quite likely that Washington specified six-pointed stars as a way to thank and pay homage to Haym Salomon, a Jewish patriot, who provided crucial financial support for the war.

This flag carried a profound meaning. It symbolized unity and Washington’s leadership during a critical time in the Revolutionary War. The stars clearly represented the original 13 colonies and their collective struggle for independence. Today, a replica of this flag hangs in front of Washington's headquarters at Valley Forge, commemorating his leadership and the resilience of his troops during this pivotal period.

As the colonies’ desire for independence increased, the need for a new symbol became apparent. The Union Jack’s presence on the Grand Union Flag became increasingly incongruent with their quest for independence. This led to the Flag Resolution of 1777, passed by the Continental Congress on June 14 of that year, which established the first official national flag. Its design comprised 13 stripes, alternating red and white, and a union of 13 white stars arranged in a circle on a blue field. An interesting detail is that the outermost stripes are specified to be red.

Jeremy was sentenced in Tampa April of 2023 to more than seven years in federal prison on weapons charges related to a federal investigation into his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 riot in the U.S. Capitol.Brown was found guilty on Monday on the two counts of unlawfully owning two guns; two counts of possessing military grenades; one misdemeanor count of knowingly storing explosive material illegally, and one count of possessing national security documents – a 2011 “Trip Report” that was about the search for then-missing U.S. Army Soldier Bowe Bergdahl that Brown had claimed was his own “work product.”

But Brown’s defense successfully created reasonable doubt with the jurors on the four other charges — that he possessed classified secret Defense Department records, all tied to a CD-rom allegedly found at the time of the search in his RV. But there was no original photo taken of the CD from the search, nor was there any forensic evidence that he owned the CD.

Finally, we were compelled to inform the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) as a cleared federal contractor and provide our evidence to them. They determined it was a credible threat and forwarded it on to the FBI for investigation. We have thus far, seen no action by the FBI to contain the threat, but rather a systematic suppression of any investigation in this very serious national security issue.”

Cain & Associates was hired by Los Angeles District Attorney's office Bureau of Investigation to conduct cyber forensic capture in the commission of a Grand Jury Authorized Search Warrant on Konnech. In the commission of doing their job, they discovered data being maintained on Chinese servers in China and provided such evidence to the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency, as required as a cleared contractor.
