It is the largest handloom saree producer in the country , the handloom saree and fabrics of Odisha possess a unique recognition on the world map for their artistic designs , excellent workmanship and pleasing colour combination . While the govt does not show any interest to retain this art form , fund crunch had led master weavers to abandon their traditional profession .
