Trump may have been described as the “800 Pound Gorilla” who was not in the room while it must be noted that the 8,000 pound gorilla was barely present- Immigration! Earlier today, July 14th the Justice Department issued a press release:  High-Level Member of ISIS Sentenced to Life in Prison for Material Support to a Foreign Terrorist Organization Resulting in Death This convicted terrorist, Mirsad Kandic, was described in the press release this way: Former Brooklyn and Bronx Resident Convicted of Being an ISIS Fighter, Weapons Smuggler, Propagandist and Recruiter. However his indictment begins by noting that he was previously granted Lawful Immigrant status.  In point of fact, he is a native of Kosovo. Clearly the Biden administration seeks to obfuscate the nexus between immigration and terrorism. On June 6th, we observed the 80th anniversary ofD Day.  Here is how the U.S. Army website describes this major battle of World War II: On June 6, 1944, more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which, “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end, the Allies gained a foot-hold in Continental Europe. The cost in lives on D-Day was high. On March 3rd four Americans were kidnapped in the Mexican border town of Matamoros, directly across the Rio Grande from Brownsville, Texas.  It is believe that a Mexican drug cartel was behind the kidnapping and subsequent murder of two of those kidnapped. On February 7th the House Committee On Oversight and Accountability conducted a hearing on the topic: “On The Front Lines of the Border Crisis: A Hearing with Chief Patrol Agents.” Two Border Patrol chiefs testified at the hearing and painted a terrifying picture about how the disastrous border crisis is undermining national security and public safety. DHS Secretary Mayorkas tried desperately but unsuccessfully, to block those courageous chiefs from testifying. On January 31, 2023 FrontPage Magazine published my article: A Former FBI Counterintelligence Chief and Russian Collusion That article was predicated on two DOJ press releases we examined on my show that reported on the arrest of both the former FBI Chief of Count-Intelligence and a Reitred Russian Diplomat and translator who became a naturalized U.S. citizen and then got a sensitive job as a translator for the federal court system.  They alleged to have colluded to provide illegal assistance to a U.S.-sanctioned Russian oligarch in exchange for hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is one of innumerable cases that calls into question the vetting process for aliens. For my program this evening I have decided to focus on the how the enforcement of our immigration laws has morphed over the past 50 years, calling upon my institutional memory of the former INS when I was hired back in 1971. Beginning with Jimmy Carter who ordered that INS employees stop using the term to describe illegal aliens - and use the term “undocumented immigrants” public perceptions were altered by the political leaders of both parties. Hi Gang:  Happy Friday! The Supreme Court has issued rulings on Roe v. Wade and the Second Amendment, striking down New York State’s restrictive gun laws, while the Senate has passed newgun legislation purportedly to address numerous mass shootings and numerous gun-related crimes. On June 21st FrontPage Magazine published my latest article:  Providing Former Taliban Associates with Visas and Asylum-The Biden administration continues its assault on U.S. national security. Hi Gang:  Happy Friday! In the wake of mass shootings politicians around the United States, particularly Democrats,, have called for new and more restrictive gun laws.  What is ignored however, is that anti-police policies have encouraged more violent crimes that use guns and other means to harm and kill people. Law-abiding people will generally abide by the laws, whether they like them or not- criminals, however, ignore laws.  Without effective law enforcement criminals are encouraged to commit more crimes and hence injure and kill even more innocent victims. Hi Gang: Last week I discussed my recent article, Title 42 and Chaos on the Border: Mayorkas is not America’s guardian but its innkeeper. A federal judge blocked the Biden administration from going forward with its plan to terminate title 42 even though the COVID pandemic continues.  Indeed, you may be surprised to know that it has been reported, that:  FLETC shutdown, rising cases show pandemic isn't over.  (FLETC  is the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Hi Gang: My most recent commentary was published by US Incorporated on March 16, 2022:DHS a No-Show on Afghan Visa Fraud. Immigration fraud and visa fraud were identified by the 9/11 Commission as the key methods of entry and embedding for numerous terrorists- not just those who carried out the deadly attacks of 9/11. For the past couple of programs I discussed the so-called “Ghost Flights”- airline flights arranged by the Biden administration to send illegal aliens to airports across our far-flung country while keeping this activity “under the radar” to try to prevent Americans from learning of this outrageous program. Hi Gang- Happy Friday! Last week I mentioned the so-called “Ghost Flights”- airliners being used to transport illegal aliens around the United States in the dead of night. Today we will followup with this important story.  The issue to understand is the fact that immigration law enforcement has to focus on the enforcement of our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States.  Simply stated, we cannot control illegal immigration solely at the border. To this point, on December 28, 2021Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri and James Lankford of Oklahoma issued a joint letter to DHS Secretary Mayorkas demanding that the administration make public the numbers of aliens who were lawfully admitted into the United States and then failed to depart within their authorized period of admission in violation of the immigration laws the Biden administration refuses to enforce. Hi Gang- Happy Friday! On November 12, 2021 the website “Hot Air” reported, Rep. Gooden: Whistleblower exposed "secret operations" by non-profits to house and move illegal migrants. Today The Hill reported, Historic immigration reform included in House-passed spending bill. The Democrats continue to push immigration anarchy.  Last week FrontPage Magazine published my article, Biden Seeks To Prove That Crime Pays: Compensating illegal aliens supposedly separated at the border. This evening we will consider the magnitude of the damage being done to America and Americans- particularly by undermining border security and immigration law enforcement. As I noted last week, short of completely disbanding ICE and CBP DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and President Biden could not do more to shut down border security and immigration law enforcement. It appears that every week the Biden administration finds new ways to persuade, entice and induce aspiring illegal alien’s from around the world to head for the United States. Additionally, Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security (Homeland Surrender?) has announced that ICE agents would no longer seek to punish employers who hire illegal aliens and has also announced that the administration is planning to no longer seek to strip naturalized U.S. citizens of their citizenship if they lied on their applications for citizenship. Perhaps Alejandro has a good reason to not want to pursue aliens who commit fraud. Even as the Taliban celebrates its victory over the United States, the Biden administration blatantly ignores how easy it would be for terrorists to surreptitiously enter the United States. We will explore just how real and dangerous this risk is this evening.
