Janae Darby is a junior at Washington and Lee University who traveled to 42 countries and all 50 states. She's majoring in Economics with minors in Middle East and South Asia Studies and Poverty and Human Capabilities Studies. In this episode, join Janae and Veronika to discuss the impact travel has on personal, professional, and academic development. Janae also shares many fascinating stories and tips from her travels as well as her process of getting the Critical Language Scholarship for Arabic and her experience of living in Germany and Japan and studying in Morocco.

Haley Minnery is a sophomore at Washington and Lee University from Northern Virginia. She studied in a fully immersive program in Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish. Even though she's American, Haley is highly involved in multicultural events on campus and is friends with many international students.
