Sun, 20 Feb 2022 - 16min - 40 - 4.2 Hope Theory explained.
Hi guys did you know there was such a thing as "Hope Theory"?
Dr Andrew wrote a paper on this theory a few years ago. He is excellent at simplifying and teasing out the various emotional strands which can make us feel helpless and hopeless. Roshni (16), is the lead in this conversation and she very naturally reflects back the bones of what Andrew says in a way which helps solidify the points he raises.
This is a podcast I will definitely listen to again, as I feel there are more gems to be collected, after I've put into practice a few of his suggestions.
If you have any questions, please email me; esther@jijivisha-therapy.co.uk

Hi all, this is a slightly different slant on podcasting. The young people I know have expressed their feelings of helplessness and hopelessness for some time now; so I decided to help them see that they are powerful and that there is light at the end of the tunnel, by asking them to help me organise this mini series.
I want them to know that most of the content I produce can be listened to by anyone, as there are nuggets of truth for people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
Thanks for listening and showing your support.
