The crazy thing is we first recorded something like this with Da Kid Verse leading up to the release of his album "The Father of the Son". We had to bring him back. This time around we dug deep into who he is, what inspires him and more importantly into the Ghetto story that he often tells in his music. It was a good laugh.

Some of the things we covered:

    History (Those who don’t know)

Journey of the artist as a paintbrush

What could be better in ZHH

What could be better in the music industry as a whole

  • 2 - Episode 2: Kicking with Synik

Sat down with Synik for the dopest listening session that I have ever had. We dive into his new project SoulSteez which came out at the end of 2019. I got the album from Synik when it was released. I held off listening to it awaiting the shared experience where I would get a chance to explore this project together with its creator. The rest is history, as they say. As you will probably be able to tell, it was worth the wait. This is an absolute masterpiece. It is layered with incredible lyrics to match the dope, soulful production. We covered society, national and international topics as well. The Portugal-based artist was a pleasure to hang out with.
