The season may be over for the Redskins, but with a change coming at defensive coordinator, the Giants getting crushed, and college prospects to marvel at, there's still plenty to discuss on Burgundy Blogcast.

One thing can now be said for certain about the Redskins' season: it's over. After that, there is much to be discussed about the current tenures and future prospects of several key personnel in Washington. Brent keeps a reasonable head about him while breaking down a disappointing final performance for a team that finished with a "winning" record, yet missed the playoffs.

Brent and recurring guest Mike Honcho discuss the Redskins' comfy win in Chicago. Also: the necessity of rooting for the Cowboys, how much to blame Joe Barry, the prospect of facing Seattle again in the playoffs, football messing up Christmas, and eye-rolling at RGIII.

Redskins fans must have been naughty all year because the team delivered a steaming, smelly pile of...coal, on Monday night against the Panthers. It didn't end their playoff hopes, but it didn't leave team's followers very hopeful. Brent and Hayes stay up late to give early takes on yet another L on MNF.

It's hard to tell which emotion Brent is experiencing more strongly: carnal love for Fat Rob Kelley, or the visceral hate he harbors for this Redskins defense. We discuss both, plus laugh a lot, because everyone's happier after a victory.

After a disappointing letdown, it's time to assign blame. Who is truly at fault for today's Burgundy Blogcast coming out late, Brent or Hayes? Also: Washington's 31-23 loss to Arizona.

If the Redskins play on Thanksgiving, then Burgundy Blogcast is recording on Thanksgiving! Brent and Hayes discuss Thursday's loss in Dallas; topics include the return of red-zone futility, Josh Norman's feuds, and Kirk Cousins as the future.

A win in prime-time! In convincing fashion! Over a Hall of Fame QB! Is there anything Washington can't do? Brent and Hayes record one nervous segment at halftime of the victory over the Packers, then debate just how good it felt to get the win in the end. So much to discuss, they forgot to talk about Dan Snyder dancing.

How many second-half defensive shutouts must Washington pitch before Brent will consider them a defensive team? Is "Oooo-weeee" as cool as "You like that?!" It's all smiles on the Blogcast after another Washington victory.

Brent enjoyed some vacation during the bye week but made it back to discuss Trent Williams and QB situations around the league. We also look ahead at Washington's next four games to guess what is needed for a playoff push.

The tie in London feels more like a loss than a win to Brent and Hayes--even if there were bright spots. Should the Redskins have tried harder to score a TD at the end of the game? Opinion is mixed. Is Brent cheating on Hayes with his Bumpers? You decide.

On the plus side, Hayes fixed his audio and the widely acclaimed "Brent's Notes" segment makes a triumphant return. But the Redskins lost, and may have lost a few key starters to injury for a game or more. We also discuss announcers, replay, and DeSean Jackson in the latest installment of Burgundy Blogcast.

The Redskins have ridden a 4-game winning streak to a 4-2 record, including a 2-1 record in the division. Brent is focused on the team and has no time for Hayes's banal observations or long-winded questions. A lengthy discussion on the O-line and Matt Jones and a brief one on Goldfish--the snack, not the pet--highlight a beautiful Blogcast episode.

The Redskins are above .500 for the first time this season and Brent and Hayes are here for it. Could the heart and soul of this team be...special teams? Can the Redskins replicate that robust second-half defense? And who is Washington's second biggest rival?

With usual producer Hayes serving a one-week suspension for unnecessary toughness, longtime friend of the Blogcast Mike Honcho joins Brent to discuss the Redskins' Week 4 win over the Browns. RGIII didn't play (due to an exploded shoulder) but he did rock a sweet pony-puff on the sidelines.
