Ever wondered if a career an US attorney is as glamorous as depicted in Suits? Spoiler alert: it's not. But, it’s nothing short of thrilling.
In this episode, Ellie is joined by Manhattan-based attorney Paul Edelstein, who compares his real-life experiences to the fictional portrayals seen in shows like Suits. We trace Paul's journey from his early fascination with the law in childhood, through completing his legal studies, and up to conquering the courtroom.
Sharing his drive to fight for justice, Paul hones in on the case of the Solis family. Evicted and with their belongings thrown onto the street, they turned to their local neighbour Paul for help. Unbeknownst to the Solis family and their landlords, Paul was an attorney. After nine years of litigation, Paul and his firm Edelstein Faegenburg & Brown LLC secured a $275,000 settlement for the Solis family.
