- 84 - With Ease My Tongue (Ninth Commandment)
With ease my tongue will breathe deceit
E'en as for truth I will entreat.
You are that Truth! O make me be
One with you in sincerity.
I fear my heart will be exposed
If, by these lies, it is not closed,
And so my neighbor I misled;
O, make me honest, Lord, I plead!
How could I e’er your praises sing
And my life to you honor bring
When oft I choose to live a lie
Rather than to your mercy fly?
My heart, O Lord, to Truth attune,
That with thy church I may commune;
Restore thy fellowship of love
On earth as at thy throne above.
How could I e’er your praises sing
And my life to you honor bring
When oft I choose to live a lie
Rather than to your mercy fly?
To your mercy fly!
Let the words of my mouth
And the thoughts of my heart
Be pleasing to you, O Lord!

All you swindlers and thieves
With plans to deceive,
I’ve come and I’m calling you out.
All you schemers and fakes
And you on the take,
I’ve found you, and there is no doubt.
Come unto me, you greedy,
Lay down what you’ve held so dear;
Receive my riches of mercy—
All that you need.
Would you believe?
Come unto me without fear!
Have you piled it high
But still wonder why
There’s nothing that fills up your soul?
Friend, hear my plea,
You’ll never be free
’Til others you seek to make whole.
Come unto me, you greedy,
Lay down what you’ve held so dear;
Receive my riches of mercy—
All that you need.
Would you believe?
Come unto me without fear!
When neighbor you use,
Exploit, and abuse
You’re doing the same to yourself.
Now, please, won’t you turn
And finally learn
I’m your one and only true wealth?
Come unto me, you greedy,
Lay down what you’ve held so dear;
Receive my riches of mercy—
All that you need.
Would you believe?
Come unto me, you greedy,
Lay down what you’ve held so dear;
Receive my riches of mercy—
All that you need.
Would you believe?
Come unto me, you greedy,
Lay down what you’ve held so dear;
Receive my riches of mercy—
All that you need.
Would you believe?
Find your relief,
All you swindlers and thieves.
Come unto me without fear!

You offer a feast, the finest of wine;
You call me close, to drink and to dine.
Still, I would trade the bread for the crumb,
The joy of your face, to be comfortably numb.
My heart's intent
Broken and bent!
So whatever it takes to be by your side—
I’ll put it to death, my wandering eye—
Just hold me, dear Jesus, keep me awake.
I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours
Whatever it takes!

Luke MortonThu, 24 Dec 2020 - 79 - Hail Our King
We are so foolish, you are so wise;
Grant us your truth, enlighten our eyes.
In our despairing, we look above
With expectation to your great love.
O Father of glory,
Reveal your power
That brought your Beloved
From cradle to grave,
That ripped through the darkness
To raise him from death
And give him the only
Name that can save:
Lord Jesus Christ, we hail our King!
You took our place—an offering.
We are impoverished; you overflow
Riches beyond what we’ll ever know.
In all our weakness you are so strong;
We are your children, to you we belong.
O Father of glory,
Reveal your power
That brought your Beloved
From cradle to grave,
That ripped through the darkness
To raise him from death
And give him the only
Name that can save:
Lord Jesus Christ, we hail our King!
You took our place—an offering.
To you belongs all majesty,
From age to age all authority.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Amen!

We were dead and in love
With ourselves and the night,
But you came, bore the curse,
Brought us into your light.
O the riches of your grace,
You have taken our disgrace,
Sins are gone without a trace!
O the boundless, endless riches of your grace.
In you, Christ, the Beloved,
We’ve redemption and rest.
Your blood shed for the rebels
Covers our wickedness.
O the riches of your grace,
You have taken our disgrace,
Sins are gone without a trace!
O the boundless, endless riches of your grace.
Let everything in heaven
And everything on earth
Bow down before the Savior,
The One beyond all worth.
Let everything in heaven
And everything on earth
Confess the name of Jesus,
The One beyond all worth.
How could we wander still
So convinced that we lack?
Why would we wanting be
When you’ve held nothing back?
O the riches of your grace,
You have taken our disgrace,
Sins are gone without a trace!
O the boundless, endless, countless...
O the riches of your grace,
You have taken our disgrace,

Dearest brother, dearest sister,
Please hear and understand:
We have seen him, we have touched him,
Son of God and Son of Man.
In the darkness we were trembling,
Full of doubts and full of fears,
When he came in tender mercy;
With his hands he dried our tears.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved:
Jesus Christ, the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one—
One name.
We’ll not hide what we’ve beheld:
Spotless Lamb, for us, was slain;
We’ll break the silence and will cry out,
Make it known with this refrain:
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved:
Jesus Christ, the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved:
Jesus Christ, the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one—
One name.
Here alone is freedom and forgiveness;
Here alone is refuge for the lost;
Here alone is One who loves us wholly,
Carried all our sin and bore the cost.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved:
Jesus Christ, the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved:
Jesus Christ, the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one—
There is one, there is one—
There is one, there is one—
One name.

Words & Music: Luke Morton, 2020.Sun, 22 Nov 2020 - 74 - Rest in You (Fourth Commandment)
My heart will always be restless
’Til it finds its rest in you;
Seeking, searching for great wisdom,
Captive to this world untrue.
In the day and in the darkness
You this reckless child pursue;
My heart will always be restless
’Til it finds its rest in you.
Time and time again I toil to no end!
How long ’til I rest in you—
’Til I rest in you?
My soul, like the troubled ocean
Never ceasing in its waves,
Ebbs and flows with endless breakers,
Calling to the One who saves.
As I sail upon these waters
Let my respite be with you;
My heart will always be restless
’Til it finds its rest in you.
Time and time again I toil to no end!
How long ’til I rest in you?
Jesus, take this worn and weary heart to mend;
Then I—I will rest in you.
Captivate me with your beauty
Of your word and promise true;
In my seeking and my searching
Teach me day by day anew;
My heart will always be restless
’Til it finds its rest in you.
Time and time again I toil to no end!
How long ’til I rest in you?
Jesus, take this worn and weary heart to mend;
Then I—I will rest in you.
Constantly it seems I toil to no end!
How long ’til I rest in you?
Jesus, take this fearful, fretting soul to mend;
Then I—I will rest in you.
My heart will always be restless
’Til it finds its rest in you.

O for a heart to praise my God
A heart from sin set free
A heart that's covered by the blood
So freely shed for me
A heart resolved, surrendered all
My great Redeemer's throne
Where only Christ is heard to speak
Where Jesus reigns alone
Cast down every idol
Pour out every grace
May there be no rival
Lord, I seek your face
Lord, I seek your face
A heart in every thought renewed
And full of love divine
In every impulse for the good
And to your will resigned
Cast down every idol
Pour out every grace
May there be no rival
Lord, I seek your face
Lord, I seek your face
Your tender mercy, Lord, impart
Come quickly from above
Write your new name upon my heart
Your new best name of Love
Cast down every idol
Pour out every grace
May there be no rival
Lord, I seek your face,
Cast down every idol
Pour out every grace
May there be no rival
Lord, I seek your face,
Lord, I seek your face.

Stubborn and full of pride,
My affection you refused;
Took for granted all I gave you,
Every kindness you abused.
Still, I long for you—
Even in anger and sorrow,
I long for you.
Tell me my fault, my wrong;
Did I forget my vow?
If I forsook my love,
Let the record show it now.
Still, I long for you—
Even in anger and sorrow,
I long for you.
With all my heart, with all my soul,
I will restore and make you whole.
Though you would run time after time,
I will be yours and you will be mine—
You will be mine, you will be mine.
O lover, I beg of you,
Won’t you turn from foolish ways?
Again I’ll make you secure,
Give you safety all your days.
How I long for you—
Even though scorned and hated,
I long for you.
With all my heart, with all my soul,
I will restore and make you whole.
Though you would run time after time,
I will be yours and you will be mine—
You will be mine, you will be mine.
No one else will do (no other love).
I alone know you (no other love).
All my words are true (no other love).
I will see this through (no other love).
With all my heart, with all my soul,
I will restore and make you whole.
Though you would run time after time,
I will be yours and you will be mine—
With all my heart, with all my soul,
I will restore and make you whole.
Though you would run time after time,
I will be yours and you will be mine—

Though you have trusted other gods
In foreign lands beneath their rods,
And though you've bowed to things you've made
And cried to that which can't give aid,
From what you think will bring you ease
And worship long on bloodied knees
I have delivered, I have delivered you from these
E'en though my Name is naught to you,
Still I Faithfulness and True;
I give to you the gift of rest
Which you reject to be oppressed.
To all my promises hold fast
For I've been faithful in the past
And I deliver, and I deliver you at last.
Yet still you mock the old and wise
For they are foolish in your eyes,
And in your heart you love to hate
And kill the ones you celebrate.
So I will leave my throne on high
And by your hand your God will die;
See, your deliverance, see your deliverance is nigh.
When wanders your unfaithful heart
And from true love your life departs,
When what's not yours you still will take
And for your wants your needs forsake,
To save my love from the abyss,
Though you betray me with a kiss,
I have delivered, I have delivered you from this.
And when you want them to believe
That you are great, so you deceive,
When your own neighbor you can't bless
Because you think that you have less,
I will set free your heart anew
For I Faithfulness and True,
And so I still, and so I still deliver you.
I will set free your heart anew
For I Faithfulness and True,
And so I still, and so I still deliver you.

There’s a hoarder in my heart
Taking everything he sees;
There’s a hoarder in my heart
Taking everything he sees.
I’d keep it all and plug my ears
To anybody’s pleas!
There’s a hoarder in my heart
Taking everything he sees.
There’s a tyrant in my mind
And he’s looking for a throne;
There’s a tyrant in my mind
And he’s looking for a throne.
I’d put my brother underfoot,
Work him right down to the bone!
There’s a tyrant in my mind
And he’s looking for a throne.
O Jesus, save me from the fire!
Be my—be my one desire;
Take my silver and my gold;
Come with grace,
Come with grace untold.
There’s a killer in my soul
He would bury everyone;
There’s a killer in my soul
He would bury everyone.
I'd shed the blood
Then shift the blame
To cover what was done.
There’s a killer in my soul
He would everyone.
O Jesus, save me from the fire!
Be my—be my one desire;
Take my silver and my gold;
Come with grace,
Come with grace untold.
There’s a longing deep inside
And it just won’t go away;
There’s a longing deep inside
And it just won’t go away.
No matter what I gain
To keep the emptiness at bay,
There's a longing deep inside
And it just won't go away.
O Jesus, save me from the fire!

Take my silver and my gold;
Come with grace,
Come with grace untold.

Though I walk a million miles,

When my faith is finely sifted,
When my fear is at the door,
When my prayer is barely lifted,
Make me holy and wholly yours.
Every thought, every word and deed,
All my life like praise outpoured.
Hear, O Jesus, my humble plea:
Make me holy and wholly yours.
If I hear my sister calling,
If I find her lost and poor,
If I see my brother falling,
Make me holy and wholly yours.
Every thought, every word and deed,
All my life like praise outpoured.
Hear, O Jesus, my humble plea:
Make me holy and wholly yours.
Should I meet my death tomorrow,

Intro: "What is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." - James 4:14-15, KJV
How many times have we
Boasted of tomorrow,
Only to find our dreams
Dashed and turned to sorrow?
How many times have we
Made the finest of plans,
Only to see them flee
And blow away like sand?
Can we stop and remember,
Raise our hands and surrender?
If the Lord wills,
We will live and love and die;
If the Lord wills,
We will see the reason why.
And until that day,
Let us trust and pray,
And ever say:
If the Lord wills.
When will we ever learn
The illusion is control—
Finally realize
These schemes cannot console?
When will we believe
The future he now owns—
That he will lead us on
And carry the unknowns?
Can we stop and remember,
Raise our hands and surrender?
If the Lord wills,
We will live and love and die;
If the Lord wills,
We will see the reason why.
And until that day,
Let us trust and pray,
And ever say:
If the Lord wills,
We will live and love and die;
If the Lord wills,
We will see the reason why.
And until that day,
Let us trust and pray,
And ever say:
If the Lord wills.
Though this life is but a vapor,
We will trust in you.

Of every land and every tongue;
This to your praise, O Lord, be sung,
O Lord, be sung.

Come with comfort, bring us peace,
All our fighting now to cease;

From every error keep us free;
Let none but Christ our Master be,
That we in living faith abide,
In him with all our might confide,

And to our weakness strength impart,

Recorded live on Pentecost Sunday, May 31st 2020.Sun, 31 May 2020 - 65 - Redeemer Of Israel
Redeemer of Israel,
Our only delight,
On whom for a blessing we call;
Our shadow by day
And our pillar by night,
Our King, our Deliv’rer, our all!
We know he his coming
To gather his sheep,
And lead them to Zion in love,
For why in the valley
Of death should they weep,
Or alone in the wilderness rove?
Son of Adam, Son of God,
You’ve come to show the way.
Son of Adam, Son of God,
O come, do not delay!
How long we have wandered
As strangers in sin,
And cried in the desert for thee!
Our foes have rejoiced
When our sorrows they’ve seen;
But Israel will shortly be free.
Son of Adam, Son of God,
You’ve come to show the way.
Son of Adam, Son of God,
O come, do not delay!
As children of Zion,
Good tidings for us—
The glimpses already appear;
Fear not and be just,
For the kingdom is ours,
And the hour of redemption is near.
Son of Adam, Son of God,
You’ve come to show the way.
Son of Adam, Son of God,
O come, do not delay!

When you walked into the room,
I remember clear as day
How you looked me in the eyes,
And I wondered what you’d say.
This world is full of hypocrites,
And you knew that I was one;
My heart, a judge and jury—
A judge second to none.
But all the same you called my name
And showed me how to live;
You told me of a kingdom where
Forgiven ones forgive;
You said the way I measure those
Would be the same for me.
So grace and mercy is the rule,
But oh! How can it be?!
O teacher, I am tired,
I’m weary, wearing thin;
Still I want to listen closely,
I am ready to begin.
So take this mind and body,
Take every part of me—
O Jesus, I am yours;
Won’t you come, oh come and set me free?!
You said I must love my brother
And speak the truth love—
Not with my own opinions
But with wisdom from above.
If I’m to see the tiny speck
That’s sitting in his eye,
I must admit the blindness
I’m so foolish to deny.
’Cause you told me there is nothing less
Than lumber in my view;
It leaves me in the darkness
Where everything’s askew.
So take away my pettiness
And then I’ll clearly see,
To look and care, and finally love
With true humility.
O teacher, I am tired,
I’m weary, wearing thin;
Still I want to listen closely,
I am ready to begin.
So take this mind and body,
Take every part of me—
O Jesus, I am yours;
Won’t you come, oh come and set me free?!
Now I’m longing for a heart
That produces what is good,
A mouth that tells the truth
And hands that do just what they should.
I want to follow you, my Lord,
And that without delay!
Yet I’m finding just how hard it is
To actually obey.
Nonetheless, I’m digging down into
The earth so very deep;
I’ve heard your words and now I know
Your promises you keep.
I’m gonna lay a firm foundation
On the rock and not the sand,
So when the storms come raging,
This house, it will stand.
O teacher, I am tired,
I’m weary, wearing thin;
Still I want to listen closely,
I am ready to begin.
So take this mind and body,
Take every part of me—
O Jesus, I am yours,
Won’t you come—
O teacher, I am tired,
I’m weary, wearing thin;
Still I want to listen closely,
I am ready to begin.
So take this mind and body,
Take every part of me—
O Jesus, I am yours;
Won’t you come, oh come and set me free?!

Recorded live on Sunday, May 10th 2020.Sun, 10 May 2020 - 62 - One Name
Dearest brother, dearest sister,
Please hear and understand:
We have seen him, we have touched him,
Son of God and Son of Man.
In the darkness we were trembling,
Full of doubts and full of fears,
When he came in tender mercy,
With his hands he dried our tears.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved
Jesus Christ the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one — one name
We’ll not hide what we’ve beheld:
Spotless Lamb, for us, was slain
We’ll break the silence and will cry out
Make it known with this refrain:
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved
Jesus Christ the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved
Jesus Christ the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one - one name
Here alone is freedom and forgiveness,
Here alone is refuge for the lost;
Here alone is One who loves us wholly,
Carried all our sin and bore the cost!
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved
Jesus Christ the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one name under heaven
By which we must be saved
Jesus Christ the King eternal,
Great destroyer of the grave.
There is one, there is one —
There is one, there is one —
There is one, there is one — one name

Recorded live on Sunday, May 3rd 2020.Sun, 03 May 2020 - 61 - The Day Of Resurrection
The day of resurrection!
Earth, tell it out abroad;
The passover of gladness,
The passover of God.
From death to life eternal,
From earth unto the sky,
Our Christ hath brought us over,
With hymns of victory.
Our hearts be pure from evil,
That we may see aright
The Lord in rays eternal
Of resurrection light;
And listening to his accents,
May hear, so calm and plain,
His own "All hail!" and, hearing,
May raise the victor strain.
O the light of the morn,
How the darkness clears away!
Sing his praise, Christ the Lord,
On this resurrection day!
Now let the heavens be joyful!
Let earth the song begin!
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein!
Let all things seen and unseen
Their notes in gladness blend,
for Christ the Lord hath risen,
Our joy that hath no end.
O the light of the morn,
How the darkness clears away!
Sing his praise, Christ the Lord,
On this resurrection day!
O the light of the morn,
(Hallelujah!)
How the darkness clears away!
(Hallelujah!)
Sing his praise, Christ the Lord,
(Hallelujah!)
On this resurrection day!
(Hallelujah!)

Recorded live on Easter Sunday, April 12th 2020.Sun, 12 Apr 2020 - 60 - The Shepherd King [Lyric Video]
In humble robes he leads his sheep,
Stands guard that they may safely sleep.
The darkness to him is not night
As he keeps watch ’til morning light—
’Til morning light, ’til morning light.
Of all his sheep he will leave none,
For he has battled death and won,
And from its teeth his lambs he’s saved;
His hands bear scars of love engraved—
Of love engraved, of love engraved.
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?
His banner flies! Will you deplore?
A Shepherd leads you into war,
His staff and rod not left behind.
Is he your King, this Shepherd kind?
This Shepherd kind? This Shepherd kind?
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?
With justice strong he’ll always reign,
His enemies resist in vain;
Yet wounded ones he never leaves,
But tends their wounds, their pain relieves—
His shoulders bear the injured sheep,
And for their sorrow he will weep.
He kneels to care for those he loves,
This Shepherd King, the Lord above.
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?

Recorded live on Sunday, June 23rd at the 5:00p service.Wed, 15 Apr 2020 - 59 - Psalm 130 (More Than the Watchmen)
From out the depths I cry, O Lord, to thee; Lord, hear my call.
I love thee, Lord, for thou dost heed my plea, forgiving all.
If thou dost mark our sins, who then shall stand?
But grace and mercy dwell at thy right hand—
But grace and mercy dwell at thy right hand.
I wait for God, the Lord, and on his Word My hope relies;
My soul still waits and looks unto the Lord Till light arise.
I look for him to drive away my night,
Yea, more than watchmen look for morning light—
Yea, more than watchmen look for morning light.
Hope in the Lord, ye waiting saints, and he will well provide;
For mercy and redemption full and free with him abide.
From sin and evil, mighty though they seem,
His arm almighty will his saints redeem.
From sin and evil, mighty though they seem,
His arm almighty will his saints redeem.
For thee we wait,
More than the watchmen—
All through the night,
More than the watchmen!

Recorded live on Sunday, April 5th, 2020.Sun, 05 Apr 2020 - 58 - I WIll Not Be Moved (Psalm 125)
Though now great waves of doubt
Crash in a restless sea,
Steadfast as the mountains firm
Let Your church faithful be.
I’ll put my hope in God,
The Steadfast and the True,
I will trust in Him alone
And I will not be moved—
And I will not be moved.
Oh, Lord be with Your church
As perils ‘round her soar;
Her defense, her safety be
E’en now and evermore.
I’ll put my hope in God,
The Steadfast and the True,
I will trust in Him alone
And I will not be moved—
And I will not be moved.
Peace, peace You give to us
When trouble is at hand,
Yet as worries now surround
Still peace comes from Your hand.
I’ll put my hope in God,
The Steadfast and the True,
I will trust in Him alone
And I will not be moved—
I’ll put my hope in God,
The Steadfast and the True,
I will trust in Him alone
And I will not be moved—
I’ll put my hope in God,
The Steadfast and the True,
I will trust in Him alone
And I will not be moved—
And I will not be moved.

I hear the invitation
With much anticipation
To join that celebration:
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
In Jerusalem is peace,
All the hungry find a feast,
Every captive is released:
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
O my brothers, O my sisters,
Let your troubles be outpoured.
Here is safety, here is refuge:
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
Are you longing for shalom,
For a place you can call home,
No more desert now to roam?
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
O my brothers, O my sisters,
Let your troubles be outpoured.
Here is safety, here is refuge:
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
Who will hear all this distress,
Stand for right, and wrong redress,
Give us peace and righteousness?
Let us go to the house of the LORD!
O my brothers, O my sisters,
Let your troubles be outpoured.
Here is safety, here is refuge:
Let us go to the house of the LORD!

Recorded live on Sunday, March 8th 2020.Sun, 08 Mar 2020 - 56 - Psalm 120
I cried in trouble to the LORD,
And he has answered me.
From lying lips and crafty tongue,
O LORD, my soul set free.
What shall be given you, false tongue?
What added to your doom?
Sharp arrows of a warrior’s might,
And red-hot coals of broom.
I cried in trouble to the LORD,
And he, and he has answered me!
Alas for me, that I sojourn
So long in distant land,
That I have made my dwelling where
The tents of strangers stand!
I cried in trouble to the LORD,
And he, and he has answered me!
Too long my soul has made its home
With those who peace abhor.
I am for peace, but when I speak
They ready are for war.
I cried in trouble to the LORD,
And he, and he has answered me!

Recorded live on Sunday, February 16th 2020.Mon, 17 Feb 2020 - 54 - Affliction
Affliction now has pulled me deep,
Where wave comes after wave;
Though o’er my head the billows roll,
I know the Lord can save.
The hand that now withholds my joys
Can reinstate my peace;
And he who made the tempest roar
Can bid that tempest cease.
In the darkest hours of the night,
I’ll count his mercies o’er;
I’ll praise him for ten thousand past,
And humbly plead for more.
When darkness and when sorrows rose
And pressed on every side,
The Lord has still sustained my steps,
And still has been my Guide.
Here will I rest and build my hopes,
Nor murmur at his rod;
He’s more than all the world to me,
My Health, my Life, my God!
In the darkest hours of the night,
I’ll count his mercies o’er;
I’ll praise him for ten thousand past,
And humbly plead for more.
Affliction now has pulled me deep,
But I know the Lord can save!

Jesus, with Thy Church abide, Be her Savior, Lord, and Guide,
While on earth her faith is tried:
We beseech Thee, — hear us, O hear us!
Keep her life and doctrine pure, Help her, patient to endure,
Trusting in Thy promise sure:
We beseech Thee, — hear us, O hear us!
Be Thou with her all her days, May she, safe from error's ways,
Toil for Thine eternal praise:
We beseech Thee, — hear us, O hear us!
May she guide the poor and blind, Seek the lost until she find,
And the broken-hearted bind: We beseech Thee, hear us
Save her love from growing cold, make her watchful, strong and bold
Fence her round, Thy peaceful fold: We beseech Thee, hear us, O hear us!
Arm her soldiers with the cross, brave to suffer toil and loss,
Counting earthly gain but dross: We beseech Thee,
May she holy triumph win, finally free from every sin,
Gather all the nations in: We beseech Thee, — hear us, O hear us, Hear us! Hear us!

Recorded live on Sunday, January 19th, 2020Sun, 19 Jan 2020 - 52 - The Lord Will Provide
When troubles assail us and dangers come nigh,
When everyone leaves us, to whom shall we fly?
There is a sure refuge in which to abide,
And that is God’s promise, “The Lord will provide.”
Though often temptations arise in our path,
And fill us with fear, we can triumph by faith;
When tempted, though weak, and our faith sorely tried,
There’s one thing to cheer us, “The Lord will provide.”
The Lord will provide, the Lord will provide—
He raises the weary, the broken and tried,
Yes, the Lord the Lord will provide!
No strength of our own, neither goodness we claim,
But trust the dear Savior, who for us was slain;
For in him God’s promise was once verified,
And now he’s our Savior; the Lord did provide.
The Lord will provide, the Lord will provide—
He raises the weary, the broken and tried,
Yes, the Lord the Lord will provide!
Though we may have doubts, and our hope seem in vain,
Through faith we will conquer and surely obtain;
His promise is certain, he’ll stay by our side,
We’ll go on rejoicing, “The Lord will provide.”
The Lord will provide, the Lord will provide—
He raises the weary, the broken and tried,
Yes, the Lord the Lord will provide!

This is a King unlike
the kings I've seen before
This is a King unlike
the kings I've seen before
He lays aside his glory
to be the poorest of the poor
This is a King unlike
the kings I’ve seen before
The One who hung the stars
has made himself a slave
The One who hung the stars
has made himself a slave
He bends to those unbending,
prideful and depraved
The One who hung the stars
has made himself a slave
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
This is love made low
How can he love me
when he knows I’ll go astray?
How can he love me when
he knows I’ll go astray?
My heart, it is so fickle,
his name I will betray
How can he love me when
he knows I’ll go astray?
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
This is love made low
This is a King unlike
the kings I've seen before
This is a King unlike
the kings I've seen before
He comes to wash me clean
and give me life forevermore
This is a King unlike
the kings I’ve seen before
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
This is Love made low
This is Love made low

Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o’er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation’s story
Now proclaim Messiah’s birth.
Shepherds, in the field abiding,
Watching o’er your flocks by night,
God with us is now residing;
Yonder shines the infant light:
Come and worship, come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King.
Sages, leave your contemplations,
Brighter visions beam afar;
Seek the great Desire of nations;
Ye have seen his natal star:
Saints, before the altar bending,
Watching long in hope and fear,
Suddenly the Lord, descending,
In his temple shall appear:
Come and worship, come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King.
Though an Infant now we view Him,
He shall fill His Father’s throne,
Gather all the nations to Him;
Every knee shall then bow down:
All creation, join in praising
God, the Father, Spirit, Son,
Evermore your voices raising
To th’eternal Three in One.
Come and worship, come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King.
Come and worship, come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King.

Recorded live on Sunday, December 29th 2019.Sun, 29 Dec 2019 - 49 - The Spirit Of The Lord
Just as Isaiah, the prophet, has foretold
A sprout from Jesse’s root into a tree shall grow
This sprout shall bloom into a mighty tree of life,
Its fruit will feed us and its source will be our light.
The Spirit of the Lord will come to dwell with us
A righteous judge, a mighty counselor
By the word of his everlasting power
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
And through him to reconcile all things to himself.
Have you ever seen a wolf and a lamb lie down together?
Can there ever be peace like this between enemies?
Can there ever be peace like this between enemies?
Would God dare to descend to come live with his enemies?
The Spirit of the Lord will come to dwell with us
Put on flesh, make peace for us with God
By the word of his everlasting power
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
Then I saw heaven open, and behold,
A white horse with its rider, righteousness his clothes
With eyes that burn like fire, and a crown atop his head
Robes dipped in blood that he himself willingly shed
Yet I had no doubt, I still recognized his face
Son of God, Son of Man, Glorious grace!
He’s the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords,
Messiah, Christ, The Word of God!
He’s the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords,
Messiah, Christ, The Word of God!
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords,
Messiah, Christ, The Word of God!
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords,
Messiah, Christ, The Word of God!
The Spirit of the Lord has come to dwell with us
Behold, the Lamb of God makes all things new!
By the word of his everlasting power
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
The baby in the manger upholds the universe
And he shall reign forever and ever.

O praise Him you people,
The Bridegroom is here,
And make yourselves ready,
To His feast draw near.
His Bride He hath clothed in
His righteousness pure;
He’s steadfast, He’s faithful,
His promise is sure.
Sing His praise, Allelu!
For His judgments are true;
Sing His praise, Allelu!
Falls His mercy like dew!
His Bride He’s defended,
Her battle He’s won;
O praise Him! O praise Him!
The Heavenly Son.
With one heart, with one voice,
His honor we’ll sing
And joy through the heavens
Eternal will ring;
A multitude thunders
In chorus to raise
To our God Almighty
A new song of praise.
Sing His praise, Allelu!
See He makes all things new;
Sing His praise, Allelu!
How He sings over you!
A small child shall lead
Both the wolf and the lamb;
O praise Him! O praise Him!
O praise Him! O praise Him!

I will follow Thee, my Savior,
Wheresoe’er my lot may be;
Where Thou goest I will follow,
Yes, my Lord, I’ll follow Thee.
Though the road be rough and stormy,
Trackless as the foaming sea,
Thou hast gone this way before me,
And I gladly follow Thee.
I will follow Thee, my Savior,
Thou didst shed Thy blood for me;
And though all the world forsake Thee,
By Thy grace I’ll follow Thee—
I’ll follow Thee.
Though the way is dark and dreary,
Cheerless though my path may be,
If Thy voice I hear before me,
Fearlessly I’ll follow Thee.
Though I meet with tribulation,
Sorely tempted though I be,
I remember Thou wast tempted,
And rejoice to follow Thee.
I will follow Thee, my Savior,
Thou didst shed Thy blood for me;
And though all the world forsake Thee,
By Thy grace I’ll follow Thee—
I’ll follow Thee.
Though Thou leadest through afflictions,
Poor, forsaken though I be,
Thou wast destitute, afflicted,
And I only follow Thee.

And though all the world forsake Thee,
By Thy grace I’ll follow Thee—

My soul in silence waits for God,
My Savior he has proved;
He only is my Rock and Tower;
I never shall be moved.
My honor is secure with God,
My Savior he is known;
My Refuge and my Rock of strength
Are found in God alone.
O my soul, O my soul
In silence waits for God.
My enemies my ruin seek,
They plot with fraud and guile;
Deceitful, they pretend to bless,
But inwardly revile.
My soul in silence waits for God,
He is my help approved;
He only is my Rock and Tower,
And I shall not be moved.
O my soul, O my soul
In silence waits for God.
On him, you people, evermore
Rely with confidence;
Before him pour out all your heart,
For God is our defense.
For God has spoken o’er and o’er,
And unto us has shown
That saving power and lasting strength
Belong to him alone.
O my soul, O my soul
In silence waits for God.
My soul in silence waits for God,
My Savior he has proved;
He only is my Rock and Tower;
I never shall be moved.

Wonderful mercy that sought us,
Wand’ring afar in the night;
Precious the Savior who brought us
Into his marvelous light
Singing love’s beautiful story,
Echo the heav’nly refrain:
Blessing and honor and glory
Be to the Lamb that was slain.
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!
Out from the sin and its sorrow,
Into the life pure and free;
Waiting the glorious morrow,
When our Redeemer we’ll see
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!
Soon we shall meet at the river,
There in sweet songs we’ll unite;
Jesus will bring us forever
Into his marvelous light.
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!

Eliza Edmunds Hewitt was born in Philadelphia 28 June 1851. She was educated in the public schools and after graduation from high school became a teacher. However, she developed a spinal malady which cut short her career and made her a shut-in for many years. During her convalescence, she studied English literature. She felt a need to be useful to her church and began writing poems for the primary department. she went on to teach Sunday school, take an active part in the Philadelphia Elementary Union and become Superintendent of the primary department of Calvin Presbyterian Church. - Hymnary.orgSun, 13 Oct 2019 - 42 - Prayers Of The People

For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith, before the world confessed;
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Thou wast their Rock, their Fortress, and their Might;
Thou, Lord, their Captain, in the well-fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness ,drear their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
Yet all are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
and hearts are brave again, and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
But when there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
From earth's wide bounds, from ocean's farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
In praise of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
"Alleluia, Alleluia!"

The church's one Foundation
Is Jesus Christ her Lord;
She is His new creation,
By water and the Word;
From heaven He came and sought her
To be His holy bride;
With His own blood He bought her,
And for her life He died,
And for her life He died.
Elect from every nation,
Yet one over all the earth,
Her charter of salvation,
One Lord, one faith, one birth;
One holy Name she blesses,
Partakes one holy food,
And to one hope she presses,
With every grace endued,
With every grace endued.
Yet she on earth hath union
With God the Three in One,
And mystic sweet communion
With those whose rest is won.
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we,
Like them, the meek and lowly,
On high may dwell with Thee,
On high may dwell with Thee.
By the blood of Jesus Christ,
We've been raised from death to life;
God the Father calls your name,
And ransoms you from sinful ways.
Ready for the coming grace,
That you will see your Savior's face.
He calls you holy and beloved,
So put your faith and hope in God,
Put your faith and hope in God.
Put your faith and hope in God!
Put your faith and hope in God!

A pilgrim and a stranger,
I journey here below;
Far distant is my country,
The home to which I go.
Here I must toil and travail,
Oft weary and oppressed,
But there my God shall lead me
To everlasting rest—
To everlasting rest.
There I shall dwell forever,
No more a stranger guest,
With all Thy blood-bought children
In everlasting rest,
The pilgrim toils forgotten,
The pilgrim conflicts o’er,
All earthly griefs behind us,
Eternal joys before!
Eternal joys before!
So I must hasten forward,
Thank God, the end will come!
This land of passing shadows
Is not my destined home
Oh everlasting city,
Jerusalem, descend!
There Jesus reigns in splendor
And glory without end.
Oh everlasting city,
Jerusalem, descend!
There Jesus reigns in splendor
And glory without end—
And glory without end!
Glory without end!

Recorded live on Sunday, September 15th 2019.Sun, 15 Sep 2019 - 38 - In Exile (We Are Strangers)
In exile here we wander:
In heaven is our abode,—
The city of the angels,
The city of our God.
And here we toil, and strive, and fight,
With sin and woe oppressed;
There God will shine his glorious light,
And give his children rest.
Through many sore temptations,
By many sorrows torn,
We long to see his glory;
Our many falls we mourn.
But faith holds out the vision bright
Of our eternal home;
And hope assures the realms of light,
When we have overcome.
But for now
We are strangers in this place
We’ve no home
How we long to see your face!
Jesus, our joy and gladness,
To Thee for aid we flee:
Give tears of true contrition;
Our souls from guilt set free:
And we shall rise in that great day,
In bodies like to Thine,
And with Thy saints, in bright array,
Shall in Thy glory shine.
But for now
We are strangers in this place
We’ve no home
How we long to see your face!
There we, as children dwelling,
Who here as exiles groan,
God's praises shall be telling
Before His glorious throne:
There in our endless home shall rest,
From strife and sorrow free,
And join the anthem of the blest,
Forever, Lord, to Thee.
But for now
We are strangers in this place
We’ve no home
How we long to see your face!

Words: William Cooke, 1872. Music: Luke Morton, 2019Sun, 08 Sep 2019 - 37 - In The Beginning
In the beginning
Before there was anything
There was God; there was God.
Into the darkness
God’s word was spoken
“Let there be light!” “Let there be light!”
And there was light.
And God saw that it was good.
It was good.
He called light from darkness
And stretched out the heavens
By the word of his power; the word of his power.
Gave life to all living,
The earth and its creatures,
The tree and the flower; the tree and the flower.
And there was life.
And God saw that it was good.
It was good.
Out of the dust we
Were formed by the hand
Of God, three in one; God, three in one.
Made in his image,
The man and the woman
The likeness of God; the likeness of God.
And there was life
And God saw that it was good
It was very good
He made us very, very good (In the beginning)
He made us very, very good (In the beginning)
He made us very, very good
In the beginning
In the beginning
In the beginning

Come, for the feast is spread,
Hark to the call—come all, come all!
Come to the Living Bread
Offered to all—heed the call, the call!
Come where the fountain flows
Healing for all thy woes—thy woes;
Come to the crimson tide,
Wade in the river of life—of life.
Chorus:
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Come to the throne of grace,
All who would win the race—the race;
Come, and boldly draw near,
Let us now tarry here—tarry here.
Come, sinner, come and eat,
A place is set for thee—for thee.
Millions have been supplied,
Not one was e’er denied—none denied.
Chorus:
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Come, Christian, taste and see,
Here is God’s grace for thee—for thee.
Whate’er thy want may be,
Jesus thine only plea—thy plea.
Come, church, come to the feast,
The greatest and the least—the least.
Jesus himself, our host,
Welcomes you without cost—no cost.
Chorus:
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Come, everyone, taste and see
That the Lord is good.
Worthy, the Lamb who was slain,
He came and conquered the grave—the grave;
Calls all his own by our names,
So from our sins we are saved—we’re saved.
We are saved, we are saved!
We are saved, we are saved!

Recorded live on Sunday, August 18th, 2019.Sun, 18 Aug 2019 - 35 - Make Us Alive Again
We have let our eyes wander, we have taken what is not ours,
We have crafted our lies and our cover ups, abusing our power.
We’ve betrayed those who trusted us, we have let our hearts stray,
We have cheated and mistreated anyone who got in our way
Since the Garden of Eden, our story’s the same,
We took what we wanted, and then shifted the blame.
Have mercy on us, Lord! Set us free from our sin!
Bring us out of this death and make us alive again
We have suffered in silence, had our dignity stripped away,
We’ve been used and discarded, abandoned, rejected, disgraced.
We have prayed for deliverance, We have cried out “How long?”
Powerless and unprotected, wounded and wronged.
Since the Garden of Eden, our story’s the same,
Misused and exploited, swallowed up by our shame.
Have mercy on us, Lord! Set the world free from sin!
Bring us out of this death and make us alive again
Despised and rejected, and familiar with all our grief,
A man of sorrows, he came down to bring us relief.
Since Gethsemane’s garden, our story’s been changed,
Forgiveness, redemption take the place of our shame.
Let your kingdom come quickly, Lord! Fully free us from sin!
Bring us out of this death and make us alive again,
No more mourning or pain, Lord, make us alive again,
Make all our wrongs right, and make us alive again.

The house of God, built by his hands,
Triumphant through the ages stands
Upon the rock forever fast,
Defying Satan’s fiery blast.
O house of God, home of my soul,
Blessed shelter while the ages roll;
Let me here forever hide,
Till I’m safe beyond the surging tide.
O house of God, O house of God.
The Lamb of God, himself the door,
Has covered sin forevermore;
His life to build this house he gave,
That I would be no more a slave.
O house of God, home of my soul,
Blessed shelter while the ages roll;
Let me here forever hide,
Till I’m safe beyond the surging tide.
O house of God, O house of God.
O house of God, that holy place,
Where beams the light of heaven’s grace;
Within thy courts I long to stay,
Where all is bright eternal day.
O house of God, home of my soul,
Blessed shelter while the ages roll;
Let me here forever hide,
Till I’m safe beyond the surging tide.
O house of God, O house of God.
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Are one with all the ransomed host,
I now shall fix my eyes above,
On Father’s house, where all is love.
O house of God, home of my soul,
Blessed shelter while the ages roll;
Let me here forever hide,
Till I’m safe beyond the surging tide.
O house of God, O house of God.

From the womb I’ve held my pride,
From the womb I’ve held my pride.
Even though I knew the truth
That there was nowhere I could hide;
From the womb I’ve held my pride.
For too long I’ve been alone,
For too long I’ve been alone.
I have pushed off everyone
And every kindness I’ve been shown;
For too long I’ve been alone.
O save my bitter soul, my soul;
My fears, they take their toll, their toll.
Jesus, you alone can make me whole;
O save my bitter soul!
Take my pain, Lord, take my rage,
Take my pain, Lord, take my rage.
All my wounded spite and fury
Have become for me a cage;
Take my pain, Lord, take my rage.
O save my bitter soul, my soul;
My fears, they take their toll, their toll.
Jesus, you alone can make me whole;
O save my bitter soul!
Give me peace, Lord, give me joy;
Give me peace, Lord, give me joy.
Let me lay down everything
That threatens only to destroy;
Give me peace, Lord, give me joy.
O save my bitter soul, my soul;
My fears, they take their toll, their toll.
Jesus, you alone can make me whole;
O save my bitter soul!

The Lord our God is a holy judge;
The Lord our God is powerful and strong.
Draw near to his throne with reverence in your heart,
And sing his praises all day long.
The fear of the Lord is the way to learn his wisdom,
And the path to understanding all his ways.
Because our God is righteous,
Let all those who fear his name
Praise forevermore our God, our Judge and King—
Praise forevermore our God, our Judge and King.
The Lord our God feels righteous anger;
His law is perfect and his Word forever true.
His holy justice is fair, and right, and good;
Each morning all his mercies are made new.
The fear of the Lord is the way to learn his wisdom,
And the path to understanding all his ways.
Because our God is righteous,
Let all those who fear his name
Praise forevermore our God, our Judge and King—
Praise forevermore our God, our Judge and King.
Holy Spirit, lead us to repentance;
Humble our hearts and all our sins confess.
Sanctify and make us faithful to obey,
To seek the Lord and all his righteousness!
The fear of the Lord is the way to learn his wisdom,
And the path to understanding all his ways.
Because our God is righteous,
Let all those who fear his name
Praise forevermore our God, our Judge and King—

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer's praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of his grace!
The triumphs of his grace!
My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread thro' all the earth abroad
The honors of your name.
Every nation and tongue shall glorify the Son!
Every nation and tongue shall glorify the Son!
Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease,
'tis music in the sinner's ears,
‘Tis life and health and peace.
He breaks the power of cancelled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean;
His blood availed for me.
Every nation and tongue shall glorify the Son!
Every nation and tongue shall glorify the Son!
Read bridge in Tagalog (Alex Vitug)
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” - Revelation 7:9-10
To God all glory, praise, and love
Be now and ever given
By saints below and saints above,
The Church in earth and heaven.

Recorded live on Pentecost Sunday, June 9th 2019 at the 5:00p service.Sun, 09 Jun 2019 - 29 - The Shepherd King
In humble robes he leads his sheep,
Stands guard that they may safely sleep.
The darkness to him is not night
As he keeps watch ’til morning light—
’Til morning light, ’til morning light.
Of all his sheep he will leave none,
For he has battled death and won,
And from its teeth his lambs he’s saved;
His hands bear scars of love engraved—
Of love engraved, of love engraved.
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?
His banner flies! Will you deplore?
A Shepherd leads you into war,
His staff and rod not left behind.
Is he your King, this Shepherd kind?
This Shepherd kind? This Shepherd kind?
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?
With justice strong he’ll always reign,
His enemies resist in vain;
Yet wounded ones he never leaves,
But tends their wounds, their pain relieves—
His shoulders bear the injured sheep,
And for their sorrow he will weep.
He kneels to care for those he loves,
This Shepherd King, the Lord above.
Will you now crown this Shepherd King,
And to him every honor bring—
This Shepherd King?
This Shepherd King?

[After cross and resurrection, I believe in the ascension of the King, Jesus Christ, at the Father's right hand, now seated in glory!]
Hail the day that sees him rise,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
To his throne beyond the skies.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Christ, the Lamb for sinners given,
Enters now the highest heaven.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
There for him high triumph waits;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Lift your heads, eternal gates.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
He has conquered death and sin;
Take the King of glory in.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Highest heaven its Lord receives;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Yet he loves the earth he leaves.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Though returning to his throne,
Still he calls us all his own.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Still for us he intercedes, intercedes
His atoning death he pleads—Yes, he pleads;
Near himself prepares our place—our place
Evermore to lavish all his grace, all his grace.
There we shall with you remain,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Children of your endless reign,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
See you with unclouded view,
Find our heaven of heavens in you.

If you’re hungry and poor,
Always looking for more
You know that this life is a war
He’s calling for you
The King, he’s calling for you.
If you're beaten and bruised,
been cheated and used
You’re broken and feeling confused
He’s calling for you
The King, he’s calling for you.
King of the outcasts, you beggars of bread
King of the wretched, the ruined,
The ones the world’s left for dead
He’s calling, he’s calling, the King,
He’s calling for you
If you’re bitter in soul
And you can’t control
The rage that devours you whole
He’s calling for you
The King, he’s calling for you.
Maybe you’ve gone astray,
Got debts you can’t pay
You’re hopeless, alone and afraid
He’s calling for you
The King, he’s calling for you.
King of the outcasts, you beggars of bread
King of the wretched, the ruined,
The ones the world’s left for dead
He’s calling, he’s calling, the King,
He’s calling for you
Come, let every heavy-laden soul
Seek and find the One to make them whole
King of the outcasts, you beggars of bread
King of the wretched, the ruined,
The ones the world’s left for dead
He’s calling, he’s calling, the King,
He’s calling for you

You'll find Me with
The broken and the weak
In the spaces in between
You'll hear My voice
Cry out with those who weep
Only if you're listening
Whatever you do
For the least of these
You do it unto Me
You'll find Me with
The ones without a voice
The forgotten and ignored
My blessing is
On those who love the poor
Will you open up the door?
Whatever you do
For the least of these
You do it unto Me
Whatever you do
For the least of these
You do it unto Me
Hallelujah, hallelujah
He is among us,
He is among us
Hallelujah, hallelujah
He is among us,
He is among us
Hallelujah, hallelujah
He is among us,
He is among us
Hallelujah, hallelujah
He is among us,
He is among us
By this the world
Will know the Father's love
We will know the Father's love

Recorded live on Sunday, January 26th 2020.Sun, 26 Jan 2020 - 25 - No More Divided (We Are One)
Though the world would segregate us,
Keep us separate and alone,
He has made us now one body,
For our enmity atoned.
Though the enemy would have us
Speaking ill and boasting pride;
We will carry one another,
In humility abide.
For we are one, we are one;
In Christ no more divided, we are one!
In our hearts, so bent and broken,
He has lavished grace so free;
Given gifts that we would serve him,
And to others blessings be.
So we cast off independence,
Seek the other as our own;
Strangers now are brothers, sisters,
By the Father we are known.
For we are one, we are one;
In Christ no more divided, we are one!
Let us be no longer foolish,
No more immaturity;
Let us wholly love each other,
Growing up in unity.
We will put away all falsehood,
Every scheme that leads astray;
We will speak the truth completely
So that all might of us say:
For we are one, we are one;
In Christ no more divided, we are one!
For we are one, we are one;
(Though the world would segregate us,
Keep us separate and alone,)
In Christ no more divided, we are one!
(He has made us now one body,
For our enmity atoned.)
For we are one, we are one;
(Though the enemy would have us
Speaking ill and boasting pride)
In Christ no more divided, we are one!
(We will carry one another,
In humility abide.)
For we are one, we are one;
In Christ no more divided, we are one!

Thank God and take courage, rejoice evermore!
For He on whose promise we stand
Shall know of a surety the way that we go,
And prosper the work of our hand.
Thank God and take courage, of this we are sure,
That He, our Redeemer and friend,
Whose goodness and mercy thus far we have proved,
Will lead us safe on to the end.
Rejoice evermore! rejoice evermore!
Till singing we anchor on heaven’s bright shore;
Then purer and sweeter our vision will be,
For there in His beauty the King we shall see.
Thank God and take courage, tho’ trials we meet,
Remember the Savior is nigh;
One kind, gentle word from His dear, loving voice
Will sweep every cloud from the sky.
Rejoice evermore! rejoice evermore!
Till singing we anchor on heaven’s bright shore;
Then purer and sweeter our vision will be,
For there in His beauty the King we shall see.
Thank God and take courage, our vigor renew,
Press on to the promise above,
The promise that Jesus has paid to secure
For those who abide in His love.
Rejoice evermore! rejoice evermore!
Till singing we anchor on heaven’s bright shore;
Then purer and sweeter our vision will be,
For there in His beauty the King we shall see.

Into the darkness and into our pain
Into the suffering so blinding
It threatens to drive us insane
Into the wasteland of our loneliness
The Word became flesh
Into this petty and self-righteous game
Into our constant refusal to stop
And accept any blame
Into the hatred and rage we caress
The Word became flesh
What kind of King comes down from his throne,
Takes all this heartache and makes it his own?
What kind of King comes down from his throne,
Takes all these tears and makes them his own?
What kind of King comes down from his throne,
Takes all this suff’ring and makes it his own?
What kind of King comes down from his throne,
Takes all these sorrows and makes them his own?
The Word became flesh

Recorded live on Palm Sunday, April 14th at the 5:00p service.Sun, 14 Apr 2019 - 22 - I Asked The Lord That I Might Grow
I asked the Lord that I might grow
in faith and love and ev'ry grace;
might more of his salvation know,
and seek more earnestly his face.
’Twas he who taught me thus to pray,
and he, I trust, has answered pray'r,
but it has been in such a way
as almost drove me to despair.
He said,
"These inward trials I employ
from self and pride to set thee free,
and break thy schemes of earthly joy
that thou may’st find thy all in me."
I hoped that in some favored hour
at once he’d answer my request,
and by his love’s constraining pow’r
subdue my sins and give me rest.
Instead of this he made me feel
the hidden evils of my heart,
and let the angry pow’rs of hell
assault my soul in ev'ry part.
He said,
"These inward trials I employ
from self and pride to set thee free,
and break thy schemes of earthly joy
that thou may’st find thy all in me."
Yea more, with his own hand he seemed
intent to aggravate my woe,
crossed all the fair designs I schemed,
humbled my heart, and laid me low.
"Lord, why is this," I, trembling, cried;
"Wilt thou pursue thy son to death?"
"This is the way," the Lord replied,
"I answer prayer for grace and faith.
He said,
"These inward trials I employ
from self and pride to set thee free,
and break thy schemes of earthly joy
that thou may’st find thy all in me."

Recorded live on Sunday, March 31st at the 5p service.Sun, 31 Mar 2019 - 21 - All You Do Is Good
You are full of compassion and abounding in love,
You create things from nothing, call what’s not though it was.
You are light with no shadow, with no shifting or change.
You turn weeping to dancing and despair into thanks.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good,
All you do is good,
All you do is good.
You release every captive, cut the shackles from slaves,
Those who hate you, you ransom, give you blood for their shame.
With the bent stem, you’re tender, shield the smoldering flame,
You bring home the unwanted, call the lost back by name.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good,
All you do is good,
All you do is good.
You lift up, you, you revive, you, you restore, you, you increase, you,
You anoint, you, you fill up, you, you spill out, you, you release, you,
You make grow, you, you bring forth, you, you call out, you, you set free
It’s who you are, It’s who you were, It’s who you will always be.
Your life is eternal, not in measure but kind,
Running over with healing, inexhaustible might.
You in us, and we in you, the delight in your face.
Resting here we enjoy you, and our joy is your praise.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good.
You are good and all you do is good,
All you do is good,
All you do is good.

Recorded live on Sunday, March 24th 2019.Sun, 24 Mar 2019 - 20 - Approach, My Soul, the Mercy Seat
Approach, my soul, the mercy seat,
Where Jesus answers pray’r;
There humbly fall before His feet,
For none can perish there—
For none can perish there
Thy promise is my only plea,
With this I venture nigh;
Thou callest burdened souls to Thee,
And such, O Lord, am I—
And such, O Lord, am I
Bowed down beneath a load of sin,
By Satan sorely pressed,
By wars without, and fears within,
I come to Thee for rest—
I come to Thee for rest.
Be Thou my shield and hiding place,
That, sheltered near Thy side,
I may my fierce accuser face,
And tell him, "Thou hast died"—
And tell him “Thou hast died.”
O wondrous love, to bleed and die,
To bear the cross and shame,
That guilty sinners such as I,
Might plead Thy gracious name—
Might plead Thy gracious name.
"Poor tempest-tossed soul, be still,
My promised grace receive”;
'Tis Jesus speaks; I must, I will,
I can, I do believe—
I can, I do believe
O wondrous love, to bleed and die,
To bear the cross and shame,
That guilty sinners such as I,
Might plead Thy gracious name
O wondrous love, to bleed and die,
To bear the cross and shame,
That guilty sinners such as I,
Might plead Thy gracious name—
Might plead Thy gracious name.
Approach, my soul, the mercy seat,
Where Jesus answers pray’r;
There humbly fall before His feet,
For none can perish there—
For none can perish there.

I am my own, or so I thought
You show me now that I am not
I tried to run, I tried to hide
Your voice, your call, I’d not abide
When it feels like you are nowhere near,
And I’m deafened by the howling fear;
In the dark, in the doubt, in the pain,
Make it all so clear, so clear:
The storm is your mercy severe.
So it would seem I cannot live,
With or without the love you give.
You don’t relent, you do not rest,
Till I am yours, by you possessed.
When it feels like you are nowhere near,
And I’m deafened by the howling fear;
In the dark, in the doubt, in the pain,
Make it all so clear, so clear:
The storm is your mercy severe.
Find me in the storm!
When it feels like you are nowhere near,
And I’m deafened by the howling fear;
In the dark, in the doubt, in the pain,
Make it all so clear, so clear:
The storm is your mercy severe.

Recorded live on Sunday, March 3rd at the 5:00p serviceSun, 03 Mar 2019 - 18 - The Runaway (Jonah's Lament)
So many times, I heard your voice
Since I was born, I knew your voice
But now you call, Demand my all
So I flee, I flee, I flee
So many times, I felt your love
Since I was born, I knew your love
But now you call, Demand my all
So I flee, I flee, I flee
Why would you bother crossing the sea,
Waste your time, waste your time
Coming after me?
But somehow you make a way
Somehow you make a way
To find the runaway
I want mercy, for none but me
All your goodness, no responsibility
Your grace too free, I won’t believe
But it finds me, finds me, finds me!
Why would you bother crossing the sea,
Waste your time, waste your time
Coming after me?
But somehow you make a way
Somehow you make a way
To find the runaway,
The runaway, the runaway
I try to hide, in the storm
Away from you, in the storm
I am so far, but there are
I cannot flee, I can’t flee, I can’t flee
Why would you bother crossing the sea,
Waste your time, waste your time
Coming after me?
But somehow you make a way
Somehow you make a way
To find the runaway,
The runaway, the runaway

Recorded live on Sunday, February 24th at the 5:00p service.Sun, 24 Feb 2019 - 17 - Be Our Peace
Strangers to your promise,
Orphans with no home;
Separated from each other,
All of us, alone.
Hearts so full of hatred,
Mouths so full of lies;
We cannot see for fighting,
We’ve blackened all our eyes.
Be our peace, O Christ;
By your blood, bring us near.
Be our peace, O Christ;
Perfect Love, drive out fear.
Divided and at odds,
Hostility in our plans—
O come, O Jesus come
With healing in your hands.
Destroy the walls of pride,
The hubris in our hearts;
In you we will be one,
And no more be apart.
Be our peace, O Christ;
By your blood, bring us near.
Be our peace, O Christ;
Perfect Love, drive out fear.
Do not leave us to ourselves
Or surely we will come undone;
Bring us reconciliation,
In your cross now make us one!
Here we have a firm foundation,
You will be our cornerstone.
Only you can end our hatred,
Jesus, you and you alone!
Be our peace, O Christ;
By your blood, bring us near.
Be our peace, O Christ;
Perfect Love, drive out fear.

Christ, of all my hopes the ground,
Christ, the spring of all my joy,
Still in you may I be found,
Still for you my pow'rs employ,
Still for you my pow'rs employ.
Let your love my heart inflame;
Keep your fear before my sight;
Be your praise my highest aim;
Your glory my chief delight,
Your glory my chief delight.
Fountain of o'erflowing grace,
Freely from your fullness give;
Till I close my earthly race,
May I prove it "Christ to live,"
May I prove it "Christ to live.”
Firmly trusting in your blood,
Nothing shall my heart confound
Safely I shall pass the flood,
Safely reach Immanuel's ground,
Safely reach Immanuel’s ground.
When my last breath comes to give
And my body down I lie
Having known it "Christ to live,”
Let me know it "gain to die,"
Let me know it "gain to die.”

All his saints declare, the story

Can’t you see the faithful city?
Can’t you see the faithful city?
There our Lord will dwell with us
For all eternity:
Can’t you see the faithful city?
On the mountain it will shine,
On the mountain it will shine
Giving light to all the world,
For the weary, rest to find:
On the mountain it will shine!
Can’t you hear the children play?
Can’t you hear the children play?
Young and old, full of joy,
Without fear on that Day:
Can’t you hear the children play?
East and west, he calls us home,
East and west he calls us home.
He will be our God alone
And will give to us shalom:
East and west he calls us home!
Lord of hosts, your kingdom come!
Lord of hosts, your kingdom come!
Take our hands, make them strong,
Help us work till work is done:
Lord of hosts, your kingdom come!
Can’t you see the faithful city?
Can’t you see the faithful city?
There our Lord will dwell with us
For all eternity:
Can’t you see the faithful city?

Recorded live on Sunday, October 28th, 2018Sun, 28 Oct 2018 - 13 - All We Have Is Yours
We give you but your own
In anything we bring;
All that we have is yours alone,
A gift from you, our King—
A gift from you, our King.
May we your bounties thus
As stewards true receive,
And gladly, Lord, as you bless us,
To give and now believe—
To give and now believe:
Everything is from your hand
And all we have is yours.
What can we give you have not given first?
For all we have is yours—
All we have is yours.
Our days upon the earth
Like shadows only flee.
What is our joy? What is our mirth,
If we, your face don’t see?
If we, your face don’t see?
No matter what we do,
No matter what we gain,
The glory, Lord, is yours alone;
we praise your holy name,
We praise your holy name!
Everything is from your hand
And all we have is yours.
What can we give you have not given first?
For all we have is yours—
All we have is yours.
Yours is the greatness,
The power and glory,
The victory and majesty.
For all in the heavens
And all in the earth
Are under your sovereignty.
And all we have is yours—
All we have is yours.

Daughter of Zion, awake from your sadness;
Awake, for your foes shall oppress you no more.
Bright, o'er the hills, see the day star of gladness,
Arise, for the night of your sorrow is over.
Strong were your foes; but the arm that subdued them,
And scattered their legions, was mightier by far;
They fled like the chaff from the scourge that pursued them;
In vain were their steeds and their chariots of war.
Daughter of Zion,
Awake from your sadness;
Awake, awake, awake,
For your foes shall oppress you no more.
Daughter of Zion, your cries, they have all been heard
The Lord, he has come, and with you ever shall be;
Shout: for the foe is destroyed by just his word;
Th’ oppressor is vanquished, and you are now free.
Daughter of Zion,
Awake from your sadness;
Awake, awake, awake,
For your foes shall oppress you no more.
For behold, he will come,
He will dwell, he will feast
With you, his beloved,
O daughter of Zion.

Though kings destroy and rule your land
Like rivers flowing in God’s hand
He still commands and bends their will
The God of heaven rules them still
He rules them still, he rules them still
O the God of heaven rules them still
As He has healed the hearts of men
He will restore His house again
And there He’ll give to you shalom
The God of heaven brings you home
He brings you home, he brings you home
O the God of heaven brings you home
There all His glory will be shown
To those by whom His Name is known
And then in song, with hearts ablaze
The God of heaven you will praise
You will praise, you will praise
O the God of heaven you will praise
Singing,
“Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah! Amen!”
Fear not, He’ll give to you shalom;
The God of heaven brings you home.

Stubborn and full of pride
My affection you refused
Took for granted all I gave you
Every kindness you abused
Still I long for you
Even in anger and sorrow I long for you
Tell me my fault, my wrong
Did I forget my vow?
If I forsook my love,
Let the record show it now
Still I long for you
Even in anger and sorrow I long for you
With all my heart, with all my soul
I will restore and make you whole
Though you would run time after time
I will be yours and you will be mine
You will be mine
You will be mine
O lover I beg of you
Won’t you turn from foolish ways?
Again I’ll make you secure
Give you safety all your days.
How I long for you
Even though scorned and hated I long for you
With all my heart, with all my soul
I will restore and make you whole
Though you would run time after time
I will be yours and you will be mine
You will be mine
You will be mine
Fields will thrive again, I’ll bring you home
Cities will rise again, I’ll bring you home
Know my love again, I’ll bring you home
Sing to me again, I’ll bring you home
With all my heart, with all my soul
I will restore and make you whole
Though you would run time after time
I will be yours and you will be mine,
You will be mine

- 8 - Inside My Heart
I have felt it ever growing—
Hell inside my heart,
Always grumbling, blaming others—
Wishing it could stop.
Losing mercy, slow compassion,
Needing to be right,
Hypocritical foundations
Reinforced with spite.
Father, write your word in piercing flames upon my heart;
Stake your claim inside of me, and never there depart.
Jesus, for my sin atoning,
Lately lost on me;
Holy Spirit, ever working,
I refuse to see:
Trusting in my worldly riches,
Clinging to myself,
Constant self-imposed salvation,
Seeking hell itself.
Father, write your word in piercing flames upon my heart;
Stake your claim inside of me, and never there depart.
Cure this wretched mind, its selfish plans to wholly fail;
Rip this hell right out of me, and let me live again!

Recorded live on Sunday, August 12th, 2018Sun, 12 Aug 2018 - 7 - Jesus Has a Table Spread
Jesus has a table spread
Where the saints of God are fed,
He invites His chosen people,
“Come and dine”;
With His manna He does feed
And supplies our every need:
Oh, ’tis sweet to sup with Jesus all the time!
“Come and dine, Come and dine”;
You may feast at Jesus’ table all the time;
He who turned water to wine,
To the hungry still he calls, “Come and dine.”
The disciples came to land,
Thus obeying Christ’s command,
For the Master called unto them,
“Come and dine”;
There they found their heart’s desire,
Bread and fish upon the fire;
Thus He satisfies the hungry every time.
“Come and dine, Come and dine”;
You may feast at Jesus’ table all the time;
He who turned water to wine,
To the hungry still he calls, “Come and dine.”
Soon the Lamb will take His bride
To be ever at His side,
All the host of heaven will assembled be;
Oh, then what a glorious sight,
All the saints in spotless white;
And with Jesus they will feast eternally.
“Come and dine, Come and dine”;
You may feast at Jesus’ table all the time;
He who turned water to wine,
To the hungry still he calls, “Come and dine.”
“Come and dine, Come and dine”;
You may feast at Jesus’ table all the time;
He who turned water to wine,
To the hungry still he calls, “Come and dine.”

- 5 - Yield Not to Temptation
Yield not to temptation,
For yielding is sin;
Each vict’ry will help you,
Some other to win;
Fight valiantly onward,
Your wicked heart subdue;
Look ever to Jesus,
He will carry you through.
Though weak you feel and wanting,
With darkness all around
The world, the flesh, the devil,
Conspire to bring you down;
Do not forget your Master,
Who fought the same as you
Look ever to Jesus,
He will carry you through.
Ask the Savior to help you,
Comfort, strengthen and keep you;
He is willing to aid you,
Yes, he’ll carry,
He will carry you through.
To him that o’ercometh,
God giveth a crown;
Through faith we will conquer,
Though often cast down;
He who is our Savior,
Our strength will renew;
Look ever to Jesus,
He will carry you through.
Ask the Savior to help you,
Comfort, strengthen and keep you;
He is willing to aid you,
Yes, he’ll carry,
He will carry you through.
Ask the Savior to help you,
Comfort, strengthen and keep you;
He is willing to aid you,
Yes, he’ll carry,
He will carry you through.

- 2 - Rejoice, the Lord is Risen
Rejoice, the Lord is ris’n;
let all his friends rejoice;
this day the Lord has left his pris’n;
the grave has heard his voice—
O the grave has heard his voice
The grave has felt his pow’r,
and has become his prey;
for darkness had its fearful hour;
but now again 'tis day—
O but now again ’tis day!
Now we have hope, living hope,
We’ve been born again
And the grave has lost its sting
We will rise with our Lord
Singing “Hallelujah!”
Come and let his praises ring
The Lord is ris'n indeed, indeed
and he will die no more.
He lives again, and lives to plead,
the mercy-seat before.
O the mercy-seat before.
Now we have hope, living hope,
We’ve been born again
And the grave has lost its sting
We will rise with our Lord
Singing “Hallelujah!”
Come and let his praises ring
We see him not, 'tis true, ’tis true;
but still we may be glad.
The work is done he came to do;
then why should we be sad?
O then why should we be sad?
Now we have hope, living hope,
We’ve been born again
And the grave has lost its sting
We will rise with our Lord
Singing “Hallelujah!”
Come and let his praises ring
Words: Thomas Kelly, 1853. Music: Luke Morton, 2016Sun, 01 Apr 2018 - 1 - Love Made Low
This is a King unlike the kings I've seen before
This is a King unlike the kings I've seen before
He lays aside his glory to be the poorest of the poor
This is a King unlike the kings I’ve seen before
The One who hung the stars has made himself a slave
The One who hung the stars has made himself a slave
He bends to those unbending, prideful and depraved
The One who hung the stars has made himself a slave
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
This is love made low
How can he love me when he knows I’ll go astray?
How can he love me when he knows I’ll go astray?
My heart, it is so fickle, his name I will betray
How can he love me when he knows I’ll go astray?
This is a King unlike the kings I've seen before
This is a King unlike the kings I've seen before
He says he’ll wash me clean and give me life forevermore
This is a King unlike the kings I’ve seen before
O such grace unknown
This is love made low
This is love made low
