We discuss why you should get your COVID-19 vaccine and its effects on public health. We reveal the vaccine's benefits on an individual's immunity and the population as a whole. Lastly, we discuss common misconceptions regarding vaccines and provide science and statistics that debunk these misconceptions.

Our podcast describes what prenatal care is and the importance of it. There are disparities among women receiving adequate levels of prenatal care, which are explained. We also suggested some plausible motions that could be taken to decrease the problem.

Our podcast is an advisory on how undocumented Hispanic immigrants can seek mental health care in the United States, as well as a description of the barriers that inhibit them from utilizing the health care system. We include the history of access to medical care for undocumented or uninsured people and the present lack of access to mental health care that affects people today. Our podcast is about how correctional facilities often fail to address the needs of incarcerated women, including appropriate medical healthcare - an issue as many women are pregnant or give birth while incarcerated. These incarcerated pregnant women then face difficult circumstances as imprisonment imposes restrictions on prenatal care, such as testing and treatment for people who have high-risk pregnancies, rehabilitative services for mothers struggling with mental illness and substance abuse, appropriate hospital arrangements for labor and delivery, healthy nutrients and diet, access to birth control and abortions, proper sanitation, and contact with the newborn.

The current, well-known symptoms of ADHD in children are overly broad, leading to misdiagnoses based on age-related immaturity rather than genuine clinical signs, preventing various student populations from receiving the treatment they need to thrive in the classroom. Our objective is to inform listeners that their current assumptions about ADHD are most likely too broad and inform them that this leads to misdiagnosis based on age-related immaturity rather than genuine clinical symptoms and that the behavioral changes they make can help combat this issue. Studies have shown that in school-age children, a child who may have just turned five years of age may be 70% more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than a child who is almost six. Children who are younger than their peers and born closer to the school start age cut-off are more frequently diagnosed and treated for ADHD. There is a higher risk for academic difficulty associated with those with ADHD. Thus, the implications of these biased over-diagnoses lead to younger children being disadvantaged by maturity differences.

Creating more government regulations around the biological agents available in each country will allow for there to be a safety net. A safety net will allow countries to be prepared in case of any attack and enable them to help other countries in need, if necessary.

Today, we are diving into the importance of women's sexual healthcare and well-being. In Georgia, women ages 18-34 are facing the absence of essential resources and services to better protect and educate themselves. Due to varying socioeconomic statuses, a lack of proper sexual education, and underrepresented populations, many women are at risk concerning their sexual and reproductive well-being. We are ultimately looking to educate and uplift this population and demographic!

It is more challenging for this group of people to access more nutritious foods due to the higher cost. This causes this population of people to turn to cheap or fast foods that are unhealthier options. Food insecurity has also been linked to the development of chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, hepatitis, or stroke, among adults in food-secure households.

Antibiotic resistance is a growing concern in both people and food production. Overuse and misuse of antibiotics lead to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, making infections harder to treat. This can result in worse illness, increased healthcare costs, and even death. Antibiotic-resistant bacteria can also spread through food production and contaminate food due to misuse.

Throughout public health and society, elderly abuse is swept under the rug and rarely mentioned in the news. Elderly abuse has a great effect on society as many families have to make hard decisions about how to best handle the living conditions and care of parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents. These people often have cognitive and physical impairments that have caused them to require specialized care that their families are not equipped to provide alone. While there isn’t a clear solution, our goal is to highlight the signs of elderly abuse while also bringing awareness to this overlooked epidemic.

The goal is to introduce the topic of HIV to those that are at risk, particularly young people, male homosexuals, and anyone sexually active. We want the audience to understand how HIV is transmitted and what they can do if they contract HIV.

The goal of our campaign is to spread awareness of air pollution’s negative effects on individual and worldly health to people of all ages, specifically focusing on new drivers in the United States. Our plan of action focuses on educating the public specifically on the detrimental effects of vehicular carbon emissions on air quality.
