Recently, a friend and neighbor passed away. Rachael was a solid Christian, yet I was not aware of underlying problems. For instance, never having been in her apartment, I didn’t know she was a level 3 hoarder. One thing about going through a hoarder’s home is you find hidden gems. I offered to take her Christian books and give them away to friends. Consequently, in going through them, I discovered a Bible Prophecy book. What made this book different, is that it was written in 1920. For a book that’s 104 years old, it’s in excellent condition.
Fascinated as I am with Bible Prophecy, as I read it, it occurred to me since it was written in 1920, by Rev. Clarence Larkin from Philadelphia, PA, it was pure and uncontaminated by modern-day Bible Prophecy preachers. Face it, when reading contemporary prophecy books or watching preachers on YouTube, you don’t know who to believe! It took me years of my own personal study to feel confident in believing in “Pre-Millennialism”.

Un amiga mía, Raquel, murió recientemente. Sufrió un derrame cerebral masivo y estuvo en muerte cerebral durante una semana hasta que falleció.
Ella era 7 meses mayor que yo. Además, ex católica, como yo, conocía a Jesús como su Señor y Salvador.
Por eso estoy segura de que la veré en el cielo cuando muera o cuando Jesús venga en el Rapto, lo que ocurra primero.
En el momento en que su corazón dejó de funcionar, ella estaba en el cielo con Jesús. Ya no sentía dolor y podía oír perfectamente.

Cada Navidad, uno de mis primas católicas dice algo como: "Que el Niñito Jesús te cuide y te bendiga". Una vez respondí que el Niño Jesús creció y se rieron. Ellos no entienden. Tiene que ser que ven tantas estatuas del Niño Jesús, que deben pensar que hay 2 Jesúses, un niño y un adulto.

Psalm 79 is another imprecatory psalm. An imprecation is a curse that invokes misfortune upon someone. Imprecatory psalms are those in which the author imprecates; that is, he calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies — aka vengeance. (Source)
Here, Asaph calls for vengeance against the pagan nations who have destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. Along with Psalm 74, this is a psalm of desolation and lament written in 586 BC, probably by someone who witnessed it all. Nevertheless, it’s a prayer that we can cry right now for Israel as they battle the pagan nations. Let’s dig in…

En Español! El Día de Reyes
El 6 de enero es el Día de Reyes y se celebra en muchas naciones latinas. Es otro día en el que los niños reciben más regalos. Criado en la cultura puertorriqueña, ¡tuve 2 Navidades!
Pero la visita de los Reyes de Oriente al Niño Jesús es una historia importante. Habla de reyes reconociendo al Rey de reyes.
En Mateo capítulo 2, tenemos lo bueno, lo malo y lo feo. Tenemos a Jesús nacido en Belén de Judea, la misma ciudad de donde era el rey David. Sus padres eran del linaje de David, por lo que cumplió las profecías del Antiguo Testamento. Aquí se citan tres de ellos. Esto es lo bueno.
Luego tenemos al rey Herodes, celoso, que no quiso oír hablar de otro "Rey de los judíos". Él es el malo. Lo feo es lo que hizo. Pensó que si mataba a todos los niños varones menores de dos años, probablemente se libraría del problema. Pero Dios, con su divina intervención, viene al rescate a través de los sueños.

Here we are celebrating another New Year! Except it wasn’t so nice of a celebration for the folks who live in Israel. The Hamas terrorists decided to send them a barrage of rockets exactly the moment the clock struck 12 midnight in Israel. Is the war in Israel part of Bible Prophecy? We’ll see.
Besides the war in Israel, we still have the never-ending war in Ukraine. Then, Venezuela is planning to invade their neighbor Guinea. The civil conflict in Sudan continues as well as increased Christian persecution in Nigeria, China, and North Korea — just to name a few. There are protests around the world. Furthermore, the FBI is warning that internal Islamic terrorist attacks in the U.S. are imminent. Obviously, there is an increase of evil in the world — pointing to the Last Days.
I’ve embedded videos and podcasts from various sources. Since the Oct. 7th massacre in Israel, I’ve discovered several reliable news sources. Moreover, some of them are in Israel reporting right from ground zero.

Last time in Psalm 77, I encouraged you to remember what God Almighty has done in YOUR life. In the next psalm, Asaph, wants the people of Israel to remember what God has done for them. See, Israel had a destructive pattern: God provided, God’s people rebelled, and God disciplined. Unfortunately, we, today, have the same destructive pattern — we don’t Fear God. Today, we humans refuse to learn from history. Thus, we are doomed to repeat it — and not just the good times. Since this is a long psalm — please hang in there — I’ve embedded two videos at the bottom — one from Spoken Gospel and the other from Riot Podcast. Both will help guide you to know our God Almighty.

Nicodemo era un líder religioso judío, un fariseo. Algo así como un cardenal de la Iglesia Católica Romana. Tenía poder, prestigio, influencia, buenas costumbres y posición, pero todavía le faltaba algo. Tenía un hoyo en el alma. Nicodemo buscaba llenar ese vacío en la religión: en los libros de Moisés, la Torá, las Escrituras, los Profetas. Sin embargo, todavía no pudo encontrarlo. Hasta que Jesús entró en su vida.
Tuve ese mismo sentimiento durante muchos años. Seguí buscando ese “algo” — esa “cosa” — en el mundo y no lo encontré. Tenía un vacío — un hoyo — en mi alma y buscaba llenarlo en lugares malos, con personas impropia. Hasta que Jesús entró en mi vida.

There are 150 Psalms in the Old Testament and we’re halfway through the book with our Sunday Psalms! What’s great about the psalms is they are prayers to God that you can pray back to Him! There are many times in our lives when we are just so overwhelmed by the world’s problems that we don’t know what to pray. There’s a psalm for that! Whether you want to yell at God or praise Him, there’s a psalm for that! Psalm 75 is an assurance that God is a God of justice and that He will win over the wicked in the end.

October 7, 2023, would have been my mom’s 100th birthday. Now, however, it’s another day that will live in infamy. The evil events of that day are worse than 9/11 and Pearl Harbor combined. Because of illness, I'm not publishing a new Sunday Psalm for today. However, given the war in Israel, I wanted to repost the Psalms of Ascents. Jews sang these psalms as they ascended into Jerusalem for the High Holy Days. These 15 psalms, from 120-134, are organized in 5 groups of 3. Each triad takes us from trouble, trust, and triumph. They speak of trouble and call to God, confirm their trust in the Lord, and then triumph in the Lord’s victory over their problems.

Eschatology is the study of the end times prophecies of the Bible. My interest in the last days and the end of the world began around 1999. Some of you may remember Y2K, which stood for the Year 2000. Folks were afraid that all of the technology would crash because computers weren’t programmed to read year “00”. Nothing happened. Afterward, people felt it was safe to return to the Internet.
There have been many people who have tried to predict when the world would end or that Jesus was coming back on a certain day, and nothing happened. We had something similar in 2012. That’s when the Mayan calendar ended and because of that, some people thought the world would end. It didn’t. It did, however, inspire yet another apocalyptic movie (2012) — though it wasn’t a very good one.

This is a short study — on Paul’s letter to Titus. Titus is mentioned a lot in Paul’s letters. He was a Greek believer, but he was also a pastor, church planter, and missionary leader. Titus was traveling with Paul on one of Paul’s missionary journeys when they were shipwrecked in Crete. There they found some believers, but there was no church organization. So, Paul left Titus there. In this letter, Paul gives Titus instructions on how to form a church with strong leaders.

Folks, this will be my last weekly World Watch. This past Wednesday I felt physically weary — and it wasn’t because I’ve been fasting and praying. Then, the Holy Spirit showed me that God’s got something else for me to do. I’ll explain at the end. Amazingly, the moment I was convinced to stop doing the weekly World Watch report, the weariness left me. Nevertheless, even though we are still in the last days, Bible Prophecy is still important.
We can’t ignore the birth pangs and the convergence of prophetic events prophesied in the Bible that are still increasing in magnitude and frequency. Given that, let’s look at this week’s wrap-up of the increasing global signs of Bible Prophecy.

Turn to the light and truth found in Paul’s letter to the Colossians. Paul was in prison when he wrote this. He had never been to Colossae, a city in what is now Turkey. However, the person who started the church, Epaphras, was concerned and went to Paul for help. Apparently, the young church was being tempted by cultural pressures to turn away from Jesus. Gee, that’s sounds familiar! Don’t Christians today face temptations from cultural pressures? Maybe we can learn something from this letter.

Having grown up Catholic, I was never taught to seek God. I was taught rites, rituals, rules and regulations that led me to an empty, nowhere life. Hence, when I turned 18 and went off to college, I left the Catholic Church and never looked back. However, I was looking for love in all the wrong places, which also led me to an empty, nowhere life.
In this psalm, King David is hiding the desert feeling from his son Absalom, he is literally thirsty and he has no where to turn to but to God. I’ve had a few moments like that in my life — times when I was stuck and had nowhere to turn to but to seek God. You can listen to my testimony by clicking on the video on the right.

At the bottom of my blog, there's a video titled "Things Are Moving FAST!" from Lamb and Lion Ministries/Christ in Prophecy. The pastor talks about the "birth pains" like that of a woman in labor. My interest in Bible Prophecy started way back in the late '90s when we all thought the world would end when all the computer clocks would turn to "00" at the start of the new millennium. Nothing happened.
However, that did not stop me from studying the Bible more. I lost count on how many studies I've done on the Book of Revelation. With each new study, God opened my eyes to see something new. He's like that. He knows when you're ready to know Him more. This is what makes Bible Prophecy in relation to world events so interesting.
With that in mind, let’s look at this week’s wrap up of the increasing global signs of Bible Prophecy.

Two major stories dominated global news this week: the tragic fire in Maui, Hawaii and the continuing military coup in Niger. How are both of these events tied to Bible Prophecy? As you will see, the situation in Niger falls under wars and rumors of wars, as well as economic chaos. The Maui fire falls under seismic events, which are increasing in frequency and intensity.
Jesus told us…
7 And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 8 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes (seismic events) in many parts of the world, as well as famines. But this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

This is found in His Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Notice He said, “But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.”

Having lived through 6 hurricanes in my lifetime, finding safe refuge from a storm takes on a whole different meaning. I wasn’t being attacked and I wasn’t in a war zone, I just wanted to feel safe. Today, my safe refuge is my confident Hope in my Salvation in Jesus Christ. It’s knowing that no matter what this crazy, evil world throws at me, I know that this earth is not my home and my home is in Heaven with my Savior.
That’s what this psalm is all about. It’s feeling far from God, yet knowing that He and only He is your safe refuge. Let’s dig in…

You are probably thinking to yourself, “What in the world is going on?” We can’t help but notice that there are just too many weird things going on at the same time — in rapid succession — throughout the world. Moreover, it’s all affecting our lifestyles, livelihoods, families, careers, and ultimately, our peace of mind. Friend, these “unusual and sudden events”, as the image below says are signs of the last days — it’s all laid out in Bible Prophecy. Only a fool would say different. As the image also says, “Only those who have the revelation of the Holy Spirit will discern the seasons.”
Jesus told us…
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

Something’s not right. In fact, something is very wrong! Moreover, the truth is, it’s not going to get any better before Jesus comes for His born-again believers in the Rapture. I do this blog and podcast every week not to scare you, but as a Watchwoman on the Wall, I feel it is my duty to warn you. It’s up to you to read, listen and understand. It’s up to you to grasp the urgency of the times. As Christians, we need to be taking this time to spread the Word of God, the Gospel — the Good News — throughout the world. It starts in our backyards, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods.
Friend, ignoring the Book of Revelation — and Bible Prophecy — is to ignore the blessings from God. Bible Prophecy is not meant to scare us, but to prepare us and to give us encouragement and confident hope. It’s the type of secure feeling that nothing in this world can ever give you.
Furthermore, ignoring prophecy distorts the entire message of the Bible. Obviously, if you remove prophecy, you remove the proof that the Bible is from a divine source. Interestingly, that’s what makes the Bible different from any other religious book. Besides that, where else do you get invited to a Heavenly Wedding Feast?
With that in mind, let’s look at this week’s wrap up of the increasing birth pains of the last days…

Christians, ignoring the Book of Revelation — and Bible Prophecy — is to ignore the blessings from God. Bible Prophecy is not meant to scare us, but to prepare us and to give us encouragement and confident hope. It’s the type of secure feeling that nothing in this world can give ever you.

Most importantly, they foretell the promise of a redeemer, savior, Lord and King -- Jesus, Messiah -- Yeshua Hamashiach. These are covered in historical sequence (more or less!)

Mon, 17 Jul 2023 - 15min - 1045 - World Watch 7.15.23: Prophetic, Last Days News Just Like Jesus Said
The “heat dome” over much of the United States is the main topic this week (besides the NATO summit). I’ve lived in Phoenix, AZ for 18 years and I’m used to 3-4 months of over 100 degree heat. It’s the opposite of living in the Northeast where I grew up. Here, we stay inside in the cool air conditioning as much as possible. Up north is the winter months where we stay inside in the warmth. At least, I don’t have to shovel snow!
So far, Phoenix has had 15 consecutive days with temps over 110. The record is 18 set in 1974. See, it’s happened before! Obviously, we’re going to break that record this next week.
I think God is giving us a taste of His coming judgment on the world when He will judge the world with fire. What am I referring to? Hang in there till the end. A lot of prophetic things happened this week Here’s this wrap-up…

Jesus warned us, "Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." The Greek word for "nation" is "ethnos" from which we get our words "ethnic" and "ethnicity". It's also translated as "people group" against "people group". This is found in His Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Additionally, He said, "But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come." Friend, that's what we're seeing in France right now -- the birth pains of the last days.

Birth pains. I’ve never had children, but I know what happens when a woman is about to give birth. The pains start — weak at first, then get stronger. Initially, they are far apart, then they come more frequent. As they increase in frequency, they increase in severity. Friend, we are going through the the birth pains of the last days.
Jesus clearly warned us about these times in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. He said, “But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.” Undoubtedly, we are witnessing the CONVERGENCE of numerous events — all prophesied in the Bible happening all at once! Unfortunately, things are going to get worse before Jesus comes for His born-again believers in the Rapture.

Well, is it time to panic yet? You know, we’re not supposed to. We’re told over and over by Jesus, “Don’t panic.” However, because we’re living in the Last Days, this world, this culture, is stirring us up so that we will panic. As you check out these news stories from this week, remember that our home is NOT this world. We must put our trust in our Sovereign God, who is still in control!

Unmistakably, the outstanding last days news story this week was the catastrophic destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam in the Dnipro River in Ukraine. Undoubtedly, this tragedy is worse than Hurricane Katrina and the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill combined. Not only is it a humanitarian crisis, but an ecological, and environmental one, also. Naturally, what makes it worse is that it was man-made. Having said that, I will not speculate on the question as to who blew up the dam. However, I’ve embedded several videos and tweets that show what a heartbreaking disaster this is. As a result, the whole area will be suffering for months, if not years. We must pray for all those affected.
Nevertheless, at the bottom are more amazing stories of how the Good News of Jesus’ Salvation is spreading around the world. Thus, there is still a lot of work to do and I am grateful for the privilege to be a part of it in these days. As always, at the bottom are some amazing stories of how the Good News of Salvation is spreading. There is still a lot of work to do and I am grateful for the privilege to be a part of it in these days.
Besides the Old Testament Prophets, John the Revelator, and the Apostle Paul, Jesus clearly spoke about the last days in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Undoubtedly, we are seeing the CONVERGENCE of numerous events, prophesied in the Bible happening all at once! Let’s dig in to a recap of this week’s last days events.
