hi guys!! Here's a mini episode that I've felt like I needed to do for a little while, I'll be taking a little break from the pod to perfect some things that need to be perfected & revamp it as a whole, as well as giving my attention to other facets in my life that I need to give it to. guys I have brushed shoulders with Noelle for almost 4 YEARS and can't believe I haven't sat down and chatted with her before now!! I had the GIGGLES today because her stories are soooo crazy. From building her own house with her family by hand, to almost having FREE TUITION to Cornell University and living in an actual barn, you will be picking your jaw off the floor like I was and probably laughing along with us! She is so talented & deep, you will love to get to know her.

DENISE is SUCH a cool, down to earth soul. I've been blessed to have been here when she moved to Kentucky, and she was so gracious to be on an episode with me because her story is so unique. She is from Argentina but always dreamed of coming to the United States. We talk about her childhood in Argentina, share stories from both of our missions & talk about how the transition to the United States was for her. We also touch on her crazy love story & her battle with depression. She's such an inspiration, come get to know her!

Meet the lovely lacey!! Funny enough, this is someone else that I kind ofknew in high school. We reconnect & talk about regrets we have from our teenage years & share some advice to people who want to try new things. Lacey shares about her endeavor to Idaho to be independent..where she ended up catching potatoes for a job (I could not stop laughing). Let's just say she only lasted a week there. She also shares how she met her husband & how motherhood has been for her. She said she is living the life she always dreamed of! She is the sweetest & I know you will love her.

I loved chatting with Mike. Right when we sat down to record, he took off his shoes and laid on my couch, even though we had just met 2 minutes before, and I knew this was going to be a great time. Mike has started up 4 businesses including one that he sold to STAPLES (his claim to fame). He gives great advice to anyone interested in entrepreneurship & has amazing insights on that. We talk about how he's on his fourth marriage and that this is the ONE (yay!), as well as his touching epiphany he had while driving in the panhandle of Idaho. Come meet my newest friend, he's SO COOL.

Meet Jory!! This was the first interview I've done where I actually met the guest at the same time as you- ON THE POD. It was so cool!! Get to know him with me- how he moved to a new place knowing nobody beforehand because he is refreshing his life and turning over a new leaf. He shares about lots of pearls- specifically overcoming alcoholism & drug use and how it takes something hard to wake us up and get us to turn things around. He's an entrepreneur & a great dad, and now my new friend. You definitely won't want to miss this one !!

Another family special episode with my MOTHER IN LAW! She is so inspiring & fun, you will be both entertained & uplifted. She talks about both growing up as the oldest of 7 children, and raising 7 children of her own. She also shares her story of adopting one of her daughters & it is AMAZING. We also talk about her first impressions of me hehe. This was so fun & you'll be sure to love my mother in law as much as I do !!

Welcome back! This week I had a great interview with Ilah from my high school class! Isn't weird how you can not really be friends when you're in such close quarters, and then become friends when you live a thousand miles away from eachother? Well that's Ilah & I! She is real about how hard relationships are, even when you love your spouse. We discuss how we think the education system needs to improve and she talks about being a kindergarten teacher. She also lets us know what the Survivor interviewers need to improve on haha. We had so many good chats- listen to hear how amazing she is!!

THIS is one of my favorite interviews I have done- James is the maintenance guy at my apartment complex and I have just been dying to have him on the pod because #1 he can fix ANYTHING in record time and #2 he seems super cool. And I was right! Listen to hear the pearls he has from having a hard upbringing and trying to be a great father & husband from that, why he will never fly on an airplane, and his secret talent of playing electric guitar. His cute wife sprinkles in some stories & advice as well- we were so lucky to have them!

Sarah is a queen. I loved being able to be a witness of her thought process and where our conversation led us. She's a momma of 4, lovely wife, and has amazing perspectives on our society, how to better ourselves as people and/or parents, and how to combat our knee-jerk reaction to things. She is AMAZING you will want to be friends with her after this ep!!

anthia is the CREAM OF THE CROP. Literally everything good and cool and pure that a person could do, she is probably doing it. But she wouldn't tell you that because she's so humble. We talk about pregnancy, postpartum, as well as her dreams of fostering children & helping those who have hearing disabilities with her ASL skills, then tying everything together with some amazing spirituality.

Sometimes it's hard to understand why people are dealt such difficult hands in this life. Kathleen is...an absolute inspiration, an example of how some of the hardest of trials can become beautiful shining pearls through time and dedication.
