On June 12, 2016, a man opened fire in Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL. The mass shooting resulted in 49 deaths and 53 injured, including Angel Colon. By the grace of God, Angel survived but was shot multiple times and suffered a shattered femur. Despite his wounds, he was determined not to let this shooting discourage him.
