New Series 2 Garden Talks: Pride podcast dropping today at 6pm!! Link in our bio. In this second series, our host @yasmine_st.croix will be interviewing special guests @the_savannaproject and @crochetclown.creations. We'll be talking to them about their experiences as black, queer creatives, their role models whilst growing up, BRIT school, and their advice for creatives that are needing a foot in the door of the arts industry, plus lots more!

EPISODE TWO:  Each Month we’ll be exploring and discussing topics that relate to the creative industry,  where we’ll  be joined by various special guests from the TBG community! This month to coincide with mental health awareness month, we'll be talking to different creatives about the relationship between their creativity and mental well-being. 

 In our second episode of Garden talks , Yasmine (TBG co- founder) talks to the multifaceted Charlie Kelly, who is a radio producer and radio presenter! In this episode, the conversation is centred around how Charlie advocates for mental health through the creation of her mental health charity Highlighting Minds. She mentions that her advocacy for Mental health is ingrained in so much of her work, as her dissertation was centred around the treatment of Women in Grime. She also brings awareness to her favourite artists she listens to, which have been added to our Garden Sounds Playlist!

In this episode, the conversation is centred around lack of representation of women in festival line ups, and how this nuance can impact artists mental health. They also bring awareness to internalised misogyny, which is embedded in our social media feeds.
