Thu, 21 Nov 2024 - 00min - 627 - Gospel4You International - 'Bad Habits' in Shona by Bishop Michael Chiviru
The English translation is kindly provided by Bishop Michael Chiviru Director of Unreached People's Mission in Zimbabwe Title : Bad HabitsText : Ephesians 2:10 Human beings are creatures of habit. Many of our practises become automatic. We are sometimes unaware that we do certain things or that we do them in a specific way. Bad habits covers a wide range of negative behaviour. Bad habits hinders many good things and also offends others. This also include compulsive behaviour. This issue of bad habits assumes special importance in the light of scriptural demand that we should walk in newness of life according to (Romans 6:4). Remember that bad habits displease God but with His help they can be broken and replaced with alternatives. None of us is immune to change. The 𝑮𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒍 specialises in change according to (2Corinthians 5:7). God can work in our lives in order to bring our conduct into line with what pleases Him. We are created to 𝒅𝒐 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔. So change is possible for all persons and we are to 𝒑𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇𝒇 our Old Self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires and 𝒑𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒏 a New Self created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. CONCLUSION: Submit yourself to God and resist the devil. As you 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 to be lord of your whole life count yourself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Do NOT let sin and bad habits reign in your moral body to obey its evil desires anymore. PRAYER: Lord Jesus 𝒊 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 to you and i deny my Old Self and all its evil desires. Wash me by your blood and give me a New Self of righteousness and holiness. 𝑰 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. AMEN!!

Fri, 15 Nov 2024 - 21min - 621 - Gospel4You International - 'Transfer' in Shona from Bishop Michael Chiviru - Director of Unreached Peoples' Mission in Zimbabwe
Title : Transfer your trustText : John 3:16 Let me clarify what this involves. It means first of all that you are going to transfer your trust that is your hope of eternal life from what you have been doing to what Jesus Christ had done for you on the cross. He takes our sin and we recieve 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔. Though we have failed to keep God's commandments and to live consistently by the 𝒈𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆 Christ perfectly obeyed all the laws of God. He has lived the perfect life. That perfect life of Christ is imputed to us the moment we believe according to ( 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 3:16). It is reckoned and placed to our account so that in the sight of God we are then accounted as perfect. Let me say this one thing plainly. When Christ comes into a life as saviour he comes to do something for you- to forgive you and give you eternal life. He also comes as lord, master and king. He wants to take his rightful place on the throne of your life. Your response is to yield your life, surrender to him out of gratitude for tge gift of eternal life. He commands us to repent of our sins and repentance is a complete change of mind about life and death and about God and of this world. It leads to a 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. Saving faith means trusting Christ 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆 for eternal salvation and that settles it. CONCLUSION: As the lord is looking into your heart admit that you are a sinner and 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒏 and take over your life 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒘. Instead of trusting in your own self and your your own good works place your trust in Jesus and accept him as your personal saviour. PRAYER: Lord Jesus grant me the gift of eternal life today and i believe your promises. I turn from my sins and 𝒊 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒆𝒓 my trust in you. I believe you died for me and i accept the 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕 of eternal life. AMEN!!!

Wed, 13 Nov 2024 - 01min - 619 - Gospel4You International - 'Worldliness' in Shona from Zimbabwe
The message is provided by Bishop Michael Chiviru of Unreached Peoples Mission in Zimbabwe. The message is in Shona. Bishop Chiviru has kindly provided a translation in English. Thank you. Title : WorldlinessText : 2 Timothy 3:4 To be worldly or worldly minded is by definition to be devoted in worldly interests as opposed to spiritual affairs. The worldly person is 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 about the things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ who called us to 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒚 and 𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒆. According to 2Peter 1:3 and James 1:26 he is characterised by spiritual indifference, instability and is undisciplined. He is contaminated and rebelious to God. James 4:4 describes him as a friend of the world and an enemy to God. You are being called 𝑵𝒐𝒕 to love the world or anything in the world but 𝑻𝒐 𝑫𝒐 the good things that result from 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒅. We should obey God in deep reverence, shrinking back from 𝑨𝒍𝒍 that might displease Him. God is at work within you helping you want to obey Him then helping you to do what He wants. You are to live clean, innocent lives as 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn. Shine out 𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 like beacon lights holding out to them the word of lif. Base your happiness and your hope in Christ, live in harmony with one another. CONCLUSION: Jesus can make your public behaviour to be above criticism. 𝑰𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 him as your personal saviour he will make you to live with peace with everyone. He will 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 you to be overpowered by evil. PRAYER: 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒊 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒂 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏𝒕 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒅. 𝑰 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔.
