Our first regular podcast of the 2024-25 season, and the offseason was sure a doozy, so plenty to talk about. J.F. Houle was a standout player for Clarkson in the mid-'90s. He then embarked on a coaching career which took him back to Clarkson, then to Major Juniors and then the AHL. Most recently he was coaching for the Montreal Canadiens' top minor-league team, an organization where his father once made a big name for himself. Dave Shyiak takes over as head coach at his alma mater, Northern Michigan, a place where he was a captain for the 1991 national championship team.
