 One of the most remarkable festivals no marathi calendar is Ganesh Chathurthi. A 10 day festival solely dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Devotees embark on a spiritual journey on these 10 days. Everything which is favourite of Lord Ganesh is prepared in households the iconic Sukh Karta Dukh Harta aarti in sung in every house. From Bollywood Stars to Business Tycoons everyone is a devotee of the lord. People gather around mitra mandals where various activities for kids and elders are held. This festival gives everyone a chance to get involved in public service. The tradition of sarvajanik ganpati was started by Lokmanya Baal Gangadhar Tilak. Me Ani Tai we shared our experiences of Ganesh Utsav as kids on this episode.

Today we were joined by Dr. Narendra Khairnar practicing gynecologist in Pune. We are a part of a group named Students Of Science where we discuss on various subjects with a scientific point of view. This quarantine situation was a blessing in disguise and we had a merry time chit chatting on our scientific journey.

Finally we all came together..! this was the first appearance of Pranav on the podcast. He was the most talked after person in at least 10 of our episodes on the podcast. It was a pleasure interacting with him and also this was the first video podcast all the way from Berlin Germany. We all are confined in the spaces of our home. Having so much spare time in our hand means it can be made to use in to a productive manner by interacting with all those friends sitting far away. Even If we are confined in to our spaces by this virus that doesn't mean it is going to stop us from interacting with our friends. We did follow all the norms of social distancing.

Our first ever Travel Vlog or Audio Log so to say we explained how we planned and executed our solo trip to Uttarakhand. On this trip we visited cities like Dehradun Mussoorie Rishikesh and Haridwar.Sitting in our comfy hotel room in Dehradun we we went in to the details of our trip from train travels, best site for bookings sightseeing and many more. We made most of our bookings from Bookings.com and hostel.com used the Indian Railways for our travel and also were depended on the local travel in the city. Keeping in mind the tight budget we completed the whole trip in under 11 thousand rupees. In the following episodes of the podcast we will be able to listen the our experience with every city. This is the first time ever we discuss religion on the podcast. Yes, as the title suggests Football is my religion and Manchester United is what I worship. Jokes apart Sahil and I had a awesome chat on football in general. Al though I wanted to have an episode with fans of various teams playing in the English Premier League but somehow it was not possible at the moment. Well this episode is full of we praising Manchester United and all the past and present players. A huge chunk was taken by Sir Alex Ferguson. Also some honorable mentions with the liking of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney. No football discussion is complete without legends like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer etc. We ended the episode by paying homage to Late Kobe Bryant and his daughter and all others traveling with him during the tragedy. Rest In Peace Kobe.

On this episode of AMK we had a chat with film and theatre actor Mandar Kulkarni. Mandar has been working in various theatre productions since his childhood. As a kid Mandar was associated with various members of the Theatre Academy one of the oldest and highly decorated theatre group in pune. This childhood flick turned into a career after he enrolled in to the prestigious Lalit Kala Kendra College Of Fine Arts of the Pune University. He got trained under renowned director and playwright Satish Alekar and other faculty members in various disciplines. After passing out he started this strides as a actor in commercial as well as amature theatre productions. Down the line he also got an opportunity of portraying his skill in marathi soap operas broadcasted on channels like Zee Marathi, Star Pravah and Colours Marathi. His accomplishments and ability has taken mandar to soaring heights. Now a days he also takes time to teach some disciplines to talented youth from all over India by conducting workshops. We had a wonder full talk during which we talked on various matters attached to theatre, acting, music and original background score and also flashbacks in to the glorious yester years of the theatrical past of Pune.

So.. we are done with Christmas 31st December is now on the horizon. You apply for a vacation in your office and surprise, surprise..! Its approved but, it has a catch. Take your work to vacay. Emagine how disappointed you would have been, how dreadful it felt. The humble old office employee applied for a paid vacation but still indulged in office work. Such has become the life of employees on this planet. Less animal but more like animal planet. In this pressure cooker life of ours we have completely forgotten to enjoy life. We have exchanged our valuable holidays which is our right for a few dollars more. Then we tend to live life till the end of our career and immediately jump upon to the medical bed. Nothing enjoyed never gave time to your wife and kids and now living a life of stress, depression and agony. All we talked about was holidays micromanagement workplace politics clashes of egos. Its a humble request to take some time out and spend with your loved ones, kids and family coz thats whom you are going to take to your grave only memories.

I (Darshan) Mayur And Sahil we had a awesome discussion on the food culture of Pune City. How new and unconventional restaurants and little artisanal eateries have completely transformed the food scene in the city will prove to be a ear candy for all of you. From local to oriental to continental cuisine all the places where we have visited and have eaten are mentioned in this episode. Our love for Momos and Parsi cafes was eminent plus Misal, Biryani, Pav Bhaji and all Non-Veg dishes were some honourable mentions. I Shared the instant hot chilli chutney recipe and the typical Puneri food we ate as kids.
