Applebee's introduced Bacardi tropical rum buckets, though you can't take them home. Jollibee Foods launched a merch line with cool items like an all-over print tote bag and shirts with printed pockets in sizes up to 5X for the same base price.

    Brands like Krispy Kreme, Snapple, Sun Chips, Blue Moon beer, and Moon Pies have creative eclipse-themed products and gimmicks. I'm disappointed that the advertised Moon Pie "solar eclipse survival kit" didn't actually include eclipse glasses.

    Brands can create themed merch and promotions tied to seasonal events, limited-time offerings, or special occurrences to drive interest and sales. The key takeaway is finding creative ways to align your brand with happenings that capture people's attention.
