Kristan shares her experience during her last year on the squad and how it impacted her physical, emotional and mental health. During Cheer Chat, Mhkeeba and Brittany reflect on their interview with Kristan and the other NFL cheerleaders who sued the NFL teams for unpaid wages and discriminatory employment practices and question why these women have been ostracized from the pro cheerleading community. They also discuss the documentary directed by Yu Gu, A Woman's Work: The NFL's Cheerleader Problem, that follows former NFL cheerleaders who file class-action lawsuits against their teams and has recently been featured in film festivals across the country.
