This week, we read into Psalm 86 v 1-4. Exploring David’s great prayer and looking at what it looks like to ask God. Considering how our vulnerability, honesty and humility support us going to God with confidence.

This week, Eloise explored how to be honest with God and trust Him during seasons of difficult emotions. She guided us through Psalm 13, examining David's example of communication through lament, confession, and awe.

This week Hannah goes through Psalm 95, exploring the true essence of worship. In a world where our hearts are constantly shaped by influences around us, how can we anchor ourselves in the presence of God, finding life and becoming people who embody praise and what it means to bow before our Creator, allowing our worship to transform us.

Josh kicked off our Psalm series looking at what it means to follow. In a world where we are always being "formed" by something, whether culture or experience, how can we "put down roots" into God's presence that will lead to life and becoming people who "bear fruit" regardless of the season.

When it comes to the issue of women in church leadership, you might think that the apostle Paul is not the best person to ask. And yet, scattered among his letters and the account of his life in the book of Acts, we find the names of several women who were his coworkers in church leadership. In this session we’ll look briefly at a few of them: Priscilla (a teacher and church planter), Phoebe (a deacon), and Junia (an apostle).

Taido Chino is the Tutor in Christian Doctrine at Trinity College Bristol, where he has taught since January 2022. He has a background in pastoral ministry and has served churches for nearly fifteen years in the USA. Prior to moving to Bristol, he has held teaching posts in the United States and Germany. He is married to Alison and they have four children.
