This is an alien UFO podcast classic episode.

This episode dates back to July 2020. It features my conversation with Preston Dennett about his book 'Onboard UFO Encounters: True Accounts of Contact with Extraterrestrials'. It was originally released on the Our Paranormal Afterlife podcast.

Onboard UFO Encounters contains fifteen all new original cases of people who have been taken onboard a UFO. None have been published before. What really happens when someone is taken onboard an alien craft? The answer may surprise you. These true firsthand accounts provide an extensive exploration deep into the heart of the UFO phenomenon, and show just how fascinating and strange UFO contact can be. A wide variety of ETs are represented including grays, praying mantis, human-looking ETs, hybrids, humanoids of all types. Fifteen ordinary people, each who have had the extraordinary experience of being taken onboard a UFO.
Fifteen true accounts, told in the witnesses’ own words. An onboard UFO encounter is the ultimate UFO experience. The stories in this book provide a firsthand look at what it’s like to be inside a UFO and meet extraterrestrials face-to-face. Why are the ETs visiting our planet? What is their agenda? Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena.  
He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of twenty-six books and more than 100 articles about UFOs and the paranormal.  His articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Fate, Atlantis Rising, MUFON UFO Journal, Nexus, Paranormal Magazine, UFO magazine, Mysteries Magazine, Ufologist, Phenomena Magazine, Outer Limits Magazine and others.  
His writing has been translated into several different languages including German, Portuguese, French, Russian, and Icelandic.  He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs.  His research has been presented in the L.A. Times, the L.A. Daily News, the Dallas Morning News and other newspapers.  He has taught classes on various paranormal subjects and lectures across the United States.

This week I'm talking to Lisey Clarkson about her book 'Ordinary People and UFOs: A Memoir of Contact'.
Having experienced over a dozen encounters with craft not of this world, Lisey Clarkson is now compelled to share these startling events as the topic emerges to the foreground of public acceptability.
At times witnessed by her two daughters, she outlines how the silent observers were mostly present during mental disciplines, to which she critically attributes their timely appearances.

This week I'm reading from Robert Powell's book 'UFOs: A Scientist Explains What We Know (And Don’t Know)'.

Robert Powell, a founding Board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, has studied the UFO subject for 17 years. His work is encapsulated in UFOs: A Scientist Explains What We Know (And Don’t Know) which provides a scientific rationale for the reality of non-terrestrial craft that are intelligently controlled.
Powell begins his book by familiarizing the reader with the history of UFOs and he identifies the more enigmatic and interesting UFO sightings. He examines the characteristics of these sightings that argue against a prosaic explanation: extreme acceleration, electromagnetic interference, bending light, no obvious propulsion mechanisms, and a lack of interaction with the atmosphere. Powell discusses the recent events that have caused our government to change the term from UFO to UAP. Included is information never before released indicating the government possesses not just two videos but five videos from 2015 of UFOs operating in the vicinity of the USS Roosevelt nuclear aircraft carrier.
Powell’s later chapters in the book discuss the extraterrestrial hypothesis considering the thousands of exoplanets that have been discovered in the last twenty years. Powell challenges the reader to consider all the implications that must be considered if intelligent life discovers us first. He looks at how we as individuals and as a society react to UFOs. He documents actions taken by our military that include instances when we have fired on UFOs.
Powell argues that it is time for a change in the study of UFOs. The phenomenon has been with us for 75 years and we have learned very little as the decades have passed. The author makes the case for what needs to be done going forward. The solution he proposes will require a paradigm shift in our thinking and his book provides the information needed to understand that paradigm shift.

Robert Powell was born in La Rochelle, France in 1953 and moved to the U.S. when he was 3 years old. He has a BS in Chemistry and is a former collegiate debater. He has 28 years experience in engineering management in the semiconductor industry. He helped Advanced Micro Devices develop its first flash memory technology that is used in today’s flash cards for cameras, PCs, video cameras, and other products. His experience includes managing a state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory and managing a Research and Development group that worked on nanotechnology using atomic force microscopes, near-field optical microscopy, and other techniques. Robert is also a co-holder of four patents related to nanotechnology.

This week I'm reading from Ryan Wood's book 'Majic Eyes Only: Earth's Encounters with Extraterrestrial Technology'.

MAJIC EYES ONLY is the most authoritative and comprehensive chronicle ever published on the subject of worldwide UFO crashes and subsequent military retrievals from 1897 to the present. The author guides the reader through 104 UFO crash incidents supported by compelling evidence in the form of official documents, eyewitnesses and in some cases physical evidence. Since 1984, multiple sources have leaked, revealed or discovered some 3,500 pages of UFO documents, hundreds classified Top Secret and linked to Majestic-12. These MJ-12 documents, coupled with the Leonard Stringfield data and strong investigations by other case experts, provide a powerful core of UFO crash incidents. Ryan S. Wood grew up in southern California where he first became acquainted with UFOs when his father, Dr. Robert M. Wood, was engaged in deciphering the physics of UFOs while managing a research project on anti-gravity for McDonnell Douglas. This involved the process of trying to change the speed of light in a Michelson Morley interferometer with high magnetic fields. In 1978, he graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and has had a long career in marketing, sales, engineering, and corporate management, across, semiconductor, computer systems, medical imaging, energy conservation, and aerospace industries. 
Ryan is regarded as a leading authority on the Top Secret classified Majestic-12 intelligence documents and the 1941 Cape Girardeau, Missouri UFO Crash amongst others. He is the author of MAJIC EYES ONLY: Earth’s Encounters with Extraterrestrial Technology, a landmark synthesis of over 100 UFO crash retrievals along with authenticity discussions of many of the majestic documents. 
A frequent lecturer on the UFO subject, Ryan has taught college courses and made numerous presentations about UFOs to civic organizations and at ufology conferences across the world. He has organized seven worldwide UFO crash retrieval symposia (2003-2009), each with conference proceedings and presentations from UFO crash investigators along with keynote banquet speakers. But Something is There is Steve Neill's journey through a life time of dealing with the unknown. Some call the experience "The Visitors" some call it abduction by aliens. The truth is we don't know what it is, But Something is There.

Bio
Steve Neill is a special effects makeup artist, filmmaker, puppeteer, model maker and visual effects (VFX) artist in film and television with a career spanning over 35 years. 
Steve started in the Industry at American Zoetrope just after high school where he produced his first film, Arthur. He was mentored by Francis Coppola and became good friends. 
Moving to Hollywood, Steve met Joe Blasco where he apprenticed for a short while before becoming friends with Rick Baker who gave him his start in Hollywood. Later he met Bob Schieffer who was head of Disney make-up and then became friends with Fred B. Phillips as a result of being friends with Bob Schieffer.
Steve Neill first worked for Fred B. Phillips on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. His first assignment was to make Spock's ears. Additionally he designed and made the appliances of the dome headed alien on the bridge that was applied by Ve Neill.
After working on Star Trek Steve went to work for John Chambers making prosthetics and puppet heads for National Lampoon’s Class Reunion.
Steve Neill has also worked on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for Richard Snell as a sculptor and prosthetic maker of numerous Klingon forehead pieces. Additionally he worked on the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode, "Encounter at Farpoint".
Steve Neill was also one of the Famous Hollywood Gorilla Men. Over the course of many years he made three gorilla suits and performed in many commercials, tv shows and movies. Additionally he created the McDonald’s “Mac Tonight” moon character puppeteering it for many years. The head was worn by Doug Jones and puppeteered by Steve Neill, Gillian Neill and Bob Burns.
He worked on Crater Lake Monster (1977) and Laser Blast (1978). Steve created, wrote and produced The Day Time Ended (1978). He worked on Ghost Busters (1984), Fright Night (1985), and many other sci-fi and horror films. 
Steve Neill is the author of “But Something is there” and is currently in production at SNG Studio for “But Something is There” produced by Steve Neill, , Paul Gentry, Whitley Strieber and Mary Cacciapaglia.

By January 1955, the United States Air Force had already established and terminated two official UFO investigation programs, and was now well into its third, Project Blue Book. Thousands of pages of witness testimony, reports, and analysis had already been typed up and yet little if anything was known about UFOs. These strange objects and lights were written off as planets, weather balloons, and other aircraft, whilst unidentified radar contacts were labelled as nothing more than weather-related phenomenon (“anomalous propagation”). The official USAF response regarding UFOs was that they simply did not exist.
Yet reports of sightings continued, reported by airline pilots, jet interceptor crews, and private plane owners across the world. Chasing Shadows: Aerial UFO Encounters 1955-1956 describes in detail their encounters during those two years, drawing from official air force intelligence reports, newspaper articles, and testimony of individual witnesses.
Chasing Shadows complements the author’s three previous volumes dealing with reports between 1946 and 1954 (Dawn of the Flying Saucers, Flying Saucer Fever and Intercept & Identify), plus his critically-acclaimed examination of the "Foo Fighter" phenomenon, UFOs Before Roswell: European Foo Fighters, 1940-1945.

This week I am reading from Richard Martini's book 'Close Encounters of the Flipside Kind: How To Phone Home'.
For the past fifteen years, Richard has been filming, recording interviews with people talking to people offstage via hypnotherapy, mediumship or via guided meditation. In this book, Richard interviews people offstage about Aliens - including physicists who have left the stage (Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan) as well as psychiatrists and scientists on the Flipside, (John E Mack, J Allen Hynek) peppering these interviews with personal accounts from people who were "visited by aliens" or who had an experience seeing them on their "council" or seeing them during a guided meditation or via hypnosis. This week I'm reading from Dr. Michael P. Masters' book 'The Extratempestrial Model'.

In The Extratempestrial Model, Dr. Michael P. Masters posits that UFOs and "Aliens" are our future human descendants, coming back through time to visit and study their own hominin evolutionary past.
As a professor of anthropology, Masters uses an abductive approach to logically infer the best explanation. He examines well-documented abductee experiences in the context of this time travel model, and considers other theories put forth to elucidate this complex and mysterious phenomenon.
While no single model can account for all aspects of these encounters, in considering various contact cases across the world and through time, recurrent patterns emerge that may offer insight into what these objects are, who is inside, and from where—or potentially when—they are coming.

Bonnie Jean Mitchell is a life-long experiencer and contactee. She first saw the star people when I was four years old. It was really bizarre to me then, but I became accustomed to their visits over the years. I saw them throughout my childhood, and they were always friendly toward me. The star people are multidimensional entities who can move in and out of our dimensional space. They come in different shapes and sizes, but most can shape shift their bodies. The star people I am closest with are tall and thin with light-colored, almost white skin. Some have white or blonde hair. If I had to choose a label for them, I would call them Pleiadian, although I realize they are non-physical beings.

When I was 19 years old, the star people became my full-time teachers. At night, they would take my conscious awareness from my physical body and transport it to a vibrational frequency where we could both work together for extended periods of time. I call this place the Alternate Reality. They put me through intense training for about five years. They taught me to face my fears and how to defend myself against psychic attack whether from human or alien. At the same time, I dealt with U.S. military trained psychics and military abduction. I was taught that we are in a war; a spiritual battle of epic proportions including factions from this world and other worlds, many of them non-physical but very real and all of us intricately connected.

The star people taught me how to use my third eye as a tool to focus and direct energy. I practiced with them and fellow human students in the alternate reality for many years. Bonnie Jean Mitchell is a life-long experiencer and contactee. She first saw the star people when I was four years old. It was really bizarre to me then, but I became accustomed to their visits over the years. I saw them throughout my childhood, and they were always friendly toward me. The star people are multidimensional entities who can move in and out of our dimensional space. They come in different shapes and sizes, but most can shape shift their bodies. The star people I am closest with are tall and thin with light-colored, almost white skin. Some have white or blonde hair. If I had to choose a label for them, I would call them Pleiadian, although I realize they are non-physical beings.

When I was 19 years old, the star people became my full-time teachers. At night, they would take my conscious awareness from my physical body and transport it to a vibrational frequency where we could both work together for extended periods of time. I call this place the Alternate Reality. They put me through intense training for about five years. They taught me to face my fears and how to defend myself against psychic attack whether from human or alien. At the same time, I dealt with U.S. military trained psychics and military abduction. I was taught that we are in a war; a spiritual battle of epic proportions including factions from this world and other worlds, many of them non-physical but very real and all of us intricately connected.

The star people taught me how to use my third eye as a tool to focus and direct energy. I practiced with them and fellow human students in the alternate reality for many years. I refer to this time as the Star People School. Whoever passed the gauntlet of psychic tests and challenges advanced to the next level of training. I eventually went on to learn how to use subtle energy to manifest reality. The most important reason for all the teaching is the Shift of Consciousness. This week I'm reading from Terry Lovelace's book 'Incident at Devils Den'.

This is my true story. Written by Terry Lovelace, a 64-year-old lawyer and former assistant attorney general. In 2012 a routine X-ray of my leg found an anomalous bit of metal the size of a fingernail with two tiny wires attached. What followed were horrific nightmares, spontaneous recall and intrusive thoughts surrounding a 1977 camping trip I took with a friend to Devils Den State Park in Northern Arkansas. For fear of losing my job and my standing in the legal community, I've kept this secret for 40 years. But the 2012 discovery of this object, one and one-half inches deep in my thigh, initiated a flood of nightmares I could not control.

Terry Lovelace is a six year veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic and EMT from 1973 to 1979. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a law degree from Western Michigan and passed the Michigan State Bar Examination. He was also admitted to the bar in Vermont and the US Territory of American Samoa. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as State’s Attorney for Vermont Board of Medical Practice until his 2012 retirement.
He and a friend were abducted from Devils Den State Park in NW Arkansas in June 1977 while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. What followed were 40+ years of nightmares, phobias, and PTSD-like issues which continue to this day.
In 2012 a routine leg x-ray discovered two anomalous objects in his leg. The x-rays are on his website at terrylovelace.com. That event was his catalyst to write two books and speak publicly about his experiences.

This week I am reading from Karl Svozil's book 'UFOs: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: Observations, Explanations and Speculations'.

Unidentified phenomena in space, in the Earth's atmosphere, and in waters are too important to leave their exploration to the military and scientific laypersons. Their proper scientific study is important for a variety of reasons; in particular, scientists and the public at large need to know the basic facts, to be informed about the way evidence is recorded, and to understand the difference been reliable evidence and fiction, as well as between plausible explanations and fantasy.
With this objective, the book surveys the history of UFO observations, the variety of recorded phenomena, and recounts the efforts of investigative commissions and their published findings.
Although wild rumors are demystified in the process, this is not an exercise in rumor-bashing. An open and at the same time critical mindset is the key. Many narratives and hypothesis appear implausible relative to our present state of knowledge; but this alone should not lead to their outright exclusion. Thus the author also pays attention to UFO sightings that have so far eluded explanation in terms of known physics or meteorology. Here the reader will encounter some of the more speculative but scientifically tenable proposals, for example, relating to sudden zigzag motion without apparent inertia or recognizable propulsion, yet always with a clear guide to their plausibility. You might expect to learn of my advanced degrees in theoretical physics. Or how I’m an expert in geospatial relativity and high-energy particles here. I could present my honorary tenure with European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). As long as I did all of that with my tongue in cheek, you’d likely realize I was having my way with word-smithing the fantastic.
You see, I’m a novelist. Rather than having an academic history in the Sciences, I started with a graphic design degree. Yeah. That was me doodling up the cover and several illustrations within. I parlayed that into a television production career. Over the course of the last twenty years, I advanced into animation, scripting, and then as a Producer/Director way out in the middle of the Pacific. Physics has held a fascination for me. During college, I had enjoyed several “topics in physics” elective classes. They didn’t relate to my degree in the least, but engaged a distinctive side of the brain all the same. I felt my intellectual draw could bridge a divide between their cerebral academic world and the one we everyday folk sip Starbucks in. Not to mention, if Neil deGrasse Tyson isn’t inclined to step up, then I’m happy fill that vacuum. We are laypeople. And if I can unravel these heady concepts into the realm of what’s possible, then that has value for all of us. Does that make me a UFOlogist? Yes, and no. A UFOlogist is pretty much anyone who studies the topic and shares their research. Just like journalists, there isn’t a UFOlogy certification. On top of that, those that seek to foster the stigma are more than pleased to slather pseudoscience over the term. In that respect, I’d not consider myself any sort of ‘ologist, more of a layperson translator. I’m seeking to advance understanding. At the same time I’d like to push back against the disinformation that overwhelms the topic. As a first time non-fiction author, I’m curious to see if this guidebook will spark something. Should it catch fire, I have plenty more in mind to continue this shared exploration.

This week I am talking to Karl Svozil about his his book 'UFOs: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: Observations, Explanations and Speculations'.

Unidentified phenomena in space, in the Earth's atmosphere, and in waters are too important to leave their exploration to the military and scientific laypersons. Their proper scientific study is important for a variety of reasons; in particular, scientists and the public at large need to know the basic facts, to be informed about the way evidence is recorded, and to understand the difference been reliable evidence and fiction, as well as between plausible explanations and fantasy.
With this objective, the book surveys the history of UFO observations, the variety of recorded phenomena, and recounts the efforts of investigative commissions and their published findings.
Although wild rumors are demystified in the process, this is not an exercise in rumor-bashing. An open and at the same time critical mindset is the key. Many narratives and hypothesis appear implausible relative to our present state of knowledge; but this alone should not lead to their outright exclusion. Thus the author also pays attention to UFO sightings that have so far eluded explanation in terms of known physics or meteorology. Here the reader will encounter some of the more speculative but scientifically tenable proposals, for example, relating to sudden zigzag motion without apparent inertia or recognizable propulsion, yet always with a clear guide to their plausibility. Last but not least, the book outlines plans and suggestions for future research capable of revealing the existence and intentions of extraterrestrial intelligences, outer-space engineers, or technologies so far known only from science fiction.

It was a time of unprecedented landings with beings from inside the craft seen outside gathering samples of the local flora and fauna. But the most significanct differences were the tales of alien abduction with the best documented of those cases being that reported by Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker. Add to that, the many sightings that involved electromagnetic effects and the close encounter experienced by a National Guard helicopter crew led by Captain Lawrence Coyne the case for the extraterrestrial explanation for many UFO sightings becomes infinitely stronger. The book provides a history of UFO sightings, independent documentation for the extraordinary events, and a suggestion of what might be coming in the future.

In this episode I am reading an extract from Philip Mantle's book ''Beyond Reasonable Doubt: The Pascagoula Alien Abduction'.

The date was October 11th, 1973; the location was the Pascagoula River, Mississippi. Two shipyard workers Charles Hickson (age 42) and Calvin Parker (age 18) decided to go fishing on the river after work. Both anglers were not having much luck that night and they thought about calling it a night when something happened that would change their lives forever. A dazzling blue light from behind them illuminated the entire scene. Turning round both men watched in awe as a rugby ball-shaped object descended. A door opened and three bizarre looking humanoid entities glided out across to the two terrified onlookers. Both Parker & Hickson later that night made their way to their local Sherriff’s Department to tell them that they had been abducted by aliens. It wasn’t long before the story found its way into the media and the story went around the world. Charles Hickson readily told his story, but Calvin Parker wanted simply to be left alone. Hickson co-authored a book with William Mendez in 1983 and it wasn’t until 2018 that Calvin Parker finally told his story in full for the first time.

It was Calvin Parker’s book and subsequent publicity that made this case probably the best documented such event on record. It wasn’t necessarily what Calvin Parker related in his two books, but it is what happened when they were published. Much to everyone’s surprise more and more firsthand eyewitnesses began to step forward. A number of these witnesses reported seeing something s few days prior to the Parker/Hickson encounter and others a few days after. UFO sightings were made in and around Pascagoula, Mississippi and in neighbouring states as well. Added to that more eyewitnesses stepped forward with their accounts of what they observed on the very same night, that being October 11th, 1973. Two of these witnesses were quite literally on the other side of the Pascagoula River that night at the very same time as Parker and Hickson were experiencing their close encounter. Not only were they on the other side of the river, but they too have related a sequence of events that could indicate that they two had a similar encounter to the two fishermen on the opposite side of the river. The full story of these two witnesses and all of the others are detailed here in full.

One last thing that has left the authors completely baffled is what could be ‘proof’ of a physical contact with something by Parker and Hickson that night. Both men reported that when the bizarre looking humanoids took hold of them, they felt a king of ‘scratch’ on ‘prick’ similar to an injection. The authors have uncovered a document written on October 13th, 1973, just two days after the encounter, which describes a physical examination of the two men and that ‘puncture wounds’ were located on Charles Hickson’s arm and Calvin Parker’s foot. The document, located in 2018, also mentioned that photographs of these marks were taken. In the file sadly there was no sign of these photographs. In 2021 when this book was being written the authors received an email from a colleague that mentioned he had accidentally found a couple of photos that he thought we would be interested in. The photographs in question were those mentioned in the ‘puncture wounds’ document obtained 3 years earlier and show marks on Charles’s Hickson’s arm and Calvin Parker’s foot. These photos will be published here for the first time ever.

This book concentrates on the independent eyewitness testimony, the puncture wounds evidence, the hypnosis sessions of the new witnesses and of Calvin Parker both of which were conducted exclusively for this book and it is left for the reader to draw their own conclusion.

This week I'm talking to Preston Dennett about his book 'Humanoids and High Strangeness: Twenty True UFO Encounters'.

Humanoids and High Strangeness presents twenty all new, original, and unpublished accounts of people who have had face-to-face contact with humanoids. This week I'm talking to Steve Aspin about his book 'Out of Time: The Intergenerational Abduction Program Explored'.

In Out of Time, author Steve Aspin attempts to write a crossover work about the enduring worldwide reports of alien abduction. It is intended for both those familiar with the historic published case material and the curious reader unfamiliar with the decades of serious research on this superficially improbable phenomenon.
He details his lifelong ET contact experiences and the relationships he built with leading researchers during his years of investigating this phenomenon. He has at all times attempted to approach the subject with critical thoroughness and intellectual rigor.
From stumbling upon a cattle mutilation in Ireland in 1970 to witnessing a UFO after a period of missing time at the age of 16 near Chester in 1972, Steve relates a lifetime of anomalous experiences in his new book. But this is only the starting point of the journey the reader of Out of Time will make. Steve then details several years of investigation into the subject and how what he has learned has shaped his thoughts on what is happening to perhaps millions of people worldwide. He had the good fortune to meet with several leading researchers in the field including Budd Hopkins and Dr David Jacobs and read hundreds of published works on the subject of UFOs and Abductions. He has attempted to bring hard evidence to the discussion and to follow that evidence where it may lead.

Out of Time is Steve’s first book on the subject of UFO and abduction research. Following a lifetime of what are often described as ‘anomalous experiences’, his serious interest in this complex subject began in 2007 when he realised that the phenomenon was not only real but was happening to him and had been all his life. He spent several years researching publications on the subject, met with many of the world’s leading researchers into this phenomenon and tried his best to make sense of it all for his own peace of mind. He achieved this to some degree and for several years chose to no longer engage with the issue.

This week I am talking to Malcolm Robinson about his book 'The A70 UFO Incident: (Scotland’s First ‘Officially Reported’ UFO Abduction)'.

On January 1, 2023, Yvonne reached an important milestone of celebrating 32 years of working with UFO abduction cases.
Yvonne is the author of Chosen: From The Alien Hybrid Program To The Fate Of The Planet; Coronado: The President, The Secret Service and Alien Abductions, a true account about a mass abduction which occurred in 1994. In these books, Yvonne has taken the time to reveal explicit, dramatic and unedited transcripts of clients’ reliving, during hypnotic regression, their recollections of alien encounters and abductions.
Since she felt group therapy would assist in their trauma recovery, Yvonne founded Close Encounter Resource Organization (CERO) in 1992 which conducts monthly meetings to this day.
This year, CERO also reached an important milestone of 32 years in existence. This week I'm talking to Mark Carlotto about his book 'Not of This World: An Emerging Picture of the UFO Phenomenon'.

The development of radio astronomy in the 1930s provided a means of searching for evidence of intelligent life beyond earth. After more than six decades, SETI has yet to detect an extraterrestrial signal of intelligent origin. Over this same period, thousands of UFO sightings were reported. Until recently, the lack of government transparency on UFOs has led many to believe in cover-ups and conspiracies to keep their existence from the public. This seemed to change with the official release of three videos by the US Navy in April 2020, confirming earlier unofficial reports of military pilots encountering unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). In Not of This World, independent researcher Mark Carlotto examines the most compelling UFO cases on record, including the Gulf Breeze sightings, Space Shuttle videos, videos of crop circles and UFOs, Tic Tacs and other UAP, and a UFO over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. Dr. Carlotto’s findings that UFOs and UAPs are likely real, appear to defy the laws of physics as currently understood, apparently exceed known aerospace capabilities, and might not be extraterrestrial in origin, suggest that reality may be completely different from what we think it is.

This week I'm talking to Barbara Delong about the book she co-authored with Ken Goudsward 'BEFORE ROSWELL: The Secret History of UFOs'.

The famous Roswell incident is, in the perspective of many, the origin of what we have come to know as the UFO phenomenon, or in recent times, “the UAP threat”. Roswell was indeed a major turning point in terms of public awareness as well as government involvement, at least in the USA. But it didn’t start at Roswell. The public view of UFOs beginning in 1947 is merely a continuation of longstanding phenomenological patterns. An abundance of historical UFO sightings exists, from long before Roswell, working back through the centuries into antiquity and beyond. Citing 364 separate cases, DeLong and Goudsward show that anomalous phenomena is as enduring through the ages, more witnessed and reported, or more discussed and debated than the UFO phenomenon.

This week I'm talking to Michael Kameron about his book 'High Strangeness: A Lifetime of Alien and Paranormal Encounters'.

Michael Kameron was just an ordinary person who experienced both sides of the paranormal, from alien abductions to encountering strange, mystical beings, stretching back from his childhood right through to his adult life. Having been brought up in the backdrop of a stringent Roman Catholic Irish community in the East-End of London in the 1970’s, it was unthinkable that such unexpected, supernatural encounters could exist at all. He lived in a house plagued by poltergeist activity, encountering spectral visitations from hooded figures.
Throughout his childhood, Michael had been unaware that such experiences were anything other than normal, until he realised that upon reflection, something odd had been happening; that his life was very different from others who considered such supernatural phenomena as totally inexplicable.

It was then that he became aware that his very existence appeared to be working in parallel worlds, and that he was ostensibly living two entirely different lives, rather than one. Over time his normal day-to-day functioning began to be affected by the emergence of non-terrestrial beings, something which had shocked Michael to his core. He knew then that not all was what it seemed, and he struggled to find transparency in ascertaining the facts.

Michael also found it hard to trust people. During his encounters with non-human entities, and having experienced bouts of missing time, he was also an unwitting victim to the infamous ‘Men in Black’ along with military exploitation, out of body experiences, spiritual and psychic confrontations, visions, along with UFO activity.

Michael found it hard to relay his experiences to anyone. Now he feels it is the time to disclose his events in rich detail, if only to help in the healing process and to bring such information to the attention of a wider audience. He has found the inner strength in ascertaining that he is not a victim, but a soul finding his own destiny with the unfolding of his deeply personal confrontations with alternate dimensions of reality.

In this book he not only explores his experience and relationships and the effects of one on the other, but also the possible reasons why his life has been plagued by various forms of High Strangeness.

This week the episodes is a collection of clips of guests talking about their experience of high strangeness in relation to ET contact.

"High strangeness" is a term often used in the field of ufology and paranormal research to describe unusual and perplexing occurrences reported by individuals who claim to have had contact or encounters with extraterrestrial beings (ETs) or unidentified flying objects (UFOs). These experiences often go beyond the typical or expected patterns associated with conventional encounters.
Here are some characteristics of high strangeness experiences in relation to ET contact:

This week I'm talking to Gari Jones about his book 'The Denbigh Lights: A Truthful Argument For The Existence of UFOs'.

The Denbigh Lights – A Truthful Argument For The Existence Of UFOs by Gari Jones is a detailed account of a UFO sighting that happened in a quiet village in Denbighshire, North Wales on January 3rd, 2012. A family of four in the early hours of the morning at approximately 3 am saw from the upstairs window of their home during a windy, rainy, stormy night, a mystical oval outline that had bright lights coming from its exterior.
Video recordings were made of this object and the local police in the area were also called to try to ascertain what the object might be. Shortly after a local UFO researcher did an initial investigation and discovered some initial evidence that he was convinced that there was no rational explanation for this sighting.

Six years later, the author (Gari Jones) came across the case and in April 2018 conducted an in-depth investigation and put together a video report concluding that indeed this was a genuine UFO sighting with great corroborating evidence.
This book details the full investigation carried out by all concerned. Photo analysis of the video taken that night and one-to-one interviews with all of the witnesses involved. Gari Jones puts together a powerful argument for his conclusion that the object witnessed that night in 2012 remains UNIDENTIFIED and UNEXPLAINED.

Jessie has always been a creative person with a passion for writing, science, history, illustrating, painting, music, film, the paranormal, and cooking/baking. This week I'm talking to Kevin Randle about his book 'The Washington Nationals: Flying Saucers over the Capital'.

In this up dated version of the 2000 book about the sightings over Washington, D.C. in 1952. The Washington Nationals examines the case in depth, adding additional commentary, witness interviews, and new information. The sightings took place on two consecutive Saturdays at what is now the Ronald Reagan National Airport and involved multiple radar confirmation, reports from pilots, both military and civilian, and attempted intercepts by fighters. Although dismissed, officially, as nothing more than a temperature inversion, those involved, including the radar operators, airline and fighter pilots, dispute those conclusions. This examination of the event, along with sightings from other parts of the country and the situations that developed from the presidential interest in UFOs, is one of the most comprehensive studies of that segment of UFO history.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and French from Rhode Island College (1967) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado (1980). Her Master’s Degree in Education is from Leslie College in Boston, Massachusetts (1992). She served as the Principal for The American Overseas School of Rome in 1994 -1995 and taught Ancient History, photo journalism and English there until she returned to the United States in 2007 to pursue her interests in investigative reporting in the field of unidentified phenomena research.

As a widely published, free-lance writer with a strong audience in Europe, Paola has studied unidentified aerial phenomena since 1979 and is on personal terms with leading researchers in the field. From 1980-1986 Dr. J. Allen Hynek entrusted her with his UFO investigations outside the United States. She has published interviews of many military witnesses concerning their experiences. This week I am talking to Kristi Pederson about her book 'We Are Not Alone: My Extraterrestrial Contact'.

Everyone has pieces of themselves that they keep hidden from the rest of the world. I was one of those people. Usually, the hidden pieces are those things we're not proud of or in which we fear judgment from others if exposed. In my case, it was both.
After a 2010 declaration to part of my family that I would heal no matter what it looked like, my healing journey began by working with childhood wounds. As I worked through family issues, I found my self-confidence growing and my fears diminishing. Courage showed its face. I was giving myself permission to be me.
One of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes is, "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." This quote is humorous but profound, which makes it perfect. As I claimed myself step by step, I noticed less judgment from others and from myself towards others. Each year I uncovered a smidgeon more of who I was and who I wanted to be, but there always seemed to be a stopping point that, if revealed, would feel like I'd crossed the Rubicon or to the point of no return. I wasn't yet brave enough to go beyond that point.
I was a closeted psychic medium most of my life but had been subjected to enough judgment from others when uncensored things would fly out of my mouth. I learned early to keep quiet. It took three years of working with alternative healers to finally claim that part of myself. I knew it was okay to be a psychic medium and that it was a gift I could share with others. I was making progress but still not brave enough to reveal my biggest secret – that I was a contactee, a person who had alien abduction experiences.
Divulging this part of my life gave me pause. I watched the news and listened to reports about UFOs. The people who claimed to have seen a craft were always made to look absurd. For many years, I refused to set myself up to be ridiculed.

Bonnie Jean Mitchell is a life-long experiencer and contactee. She first saw the star people when I was four years old. This week I'm talking to Graeme Rendall about his book 'Intercept and Identify: Aerial UFO Encounters, 1953-1954'.

In the aftermath of two weekends in July 1952 when airspace over the American capital was filled with strange lights and radar contacts, the US Air Force sought to shut down the UFO issue, falling back on "identifications" such as balloons, weather anomalies and cockpit reflections. Yet the following two years saw numerous reports being filed about encounters with strange objects and lights in the skies over the United States - and elsewhere around the world. This book looks at pilot and aircrew sightings from 1953 and 1954 - two years' worth of incredible reports from across the globe involving fighter jet and transport crews, airliner captains and private pilots. Many witness statements were dismissed in favour of explanations that simply don't make sense when referring back to the only evidence - the testimony itself. This new book continues the author's look at aerial UFO encounters during the 1940s and 1950s - and the fevered attempts behind the scenes to explain the problem, and when that wasn't possible, to diminish its importance entirely.

Graeme Rendall is a full time author and a commentator on the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) issue. He is also a contributor to the "The Debrief", an American news website dealing with cutting edge science, tech and defence news, and a frequent guest on various podcasts looking at UAP. He also writes articles on the subject for UAP Media UK. Between 1990 and 1992, he was the Editor of an amateur aviation magazine. Graeme has written a critically-acclaimed work looking at the "Foo-Fighters" witnessed during World War Two and the numerous wartime cases that occurred before the term was coined in November 1944. He has been an aviation and World War Two history enthusiast from an early age, when he was given Airfix model aircraft kits "to keep him quiet". Married to Jo, he lives in rural Northumberland, between the beach and the hills.

This week I'm talking to Gary Heseltine about his book 'NON-HUMAN: The Rendlesham Forest UFO Incidents: 42 Years of Denial'.

Non-Human The Rendlesham Forest UFO Incidents: Forty-Two Years of Denial tells the hugely complicated story of what is now considered to be the second most famous UFO case in history after Roswell in 1947. Gary Heseltine is a former police detective and UFO investigator and researcher. He has used his skills to re-investigate the case literally from day one after the events had taken place. Gary Heseltine is the founder and editor of UFO Truth Magazine and is based in the UK. Born in 1960, he spent 6 years in the Royal Air Force Police (1983-89) before joining the British Transport Police in 1989. He went on to complete an almost 24 year career before retiring early in 2013 to follow his passion for researching UFOs.

For most of his police service he served as a Detective Constable, working on all manner of enquiries including murder, manslaughter and rape. He became an Advanced police interviewer of witnesses and suspects, and in that specialist role he was involved in the 2005, London Bombings terrorist enquiry, where he interviewed a number of first responding BTP officers, to three of the four crime scenes.

In 2010 he was awarded the PRG Disclosure Award in Washington D.C. for his work with police officers, and in 2012 he was presented with the EXO Politics Great Britain award for his research.
He then appeared at the prestigious 2013 Citizen Hearings, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. USA, speaking on behalf of police officers worldwide.

As one of nine researchers he gave testimony before the Brazilian Senate in June 2022, where he stated that he believed some UFO/UAP events were likely to be extraterrestrial or non-human in origin. Gary is also the Vice President of ICER (International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research), an international NGO comprising scientists, academics and leading UAP researchers with national representatives in 30 countries.

This week I'm talking to Colin Saunders about his book 'Triangular UFOs of the United Kingdom'.
In 1999 my family and I was fortunate to have a very close encounter with a Triangular craft not of this world. Since that date I have met so many people that have also had Triangle encounters that it seemed only logical to write a book, not only about my own experience, but to include these observations as well. The book covers over 130 first hand UK witness accounts of close encounters with Triangular craft, including missing time and men in black! What I soon realised from my own encounter and other witness statements is that there is a definite link between UFO’s and the paranormal, I have included a whole section about this phenomenon in the book which also touches on alien telepathy. Dear Mr. Lovelace,
My late husband Paul and I had an experience in March of 1968. I've never shared this story with anyone other than my sister and Paul's parents. I was a housewife and Paul was a nephrologist (a kidney doctor) who worked in private practice. We had friends in Reno, Nevada and about every month we'd make the drive from Vegas to Reno to share a weekend with friends. We always stopped in a little town called Tonopah about half-way to Reno. We'd stretch a bit, get fuel and have dinner. It was called "The Stagecoach." I believe it's still there. On this night we were three hours later than usual because Paul had been tied up at the hospital. After dinner and fuel we got back on the road about 9:00 PM and headed for Reno. About 10 miles out of town we were surprised to see a new store. It was a Christmas store. I had never before seen a store solely devoted to the holiday. The store appeared to be open as there was brilliant white light pouring out of the windows. The whole structure was draped in Christmas tree lights in assorted colors, some blinking and others not. I asked Paul to pull over. We were both mesmerized. He pulled onto the shoulder directly in front of the store. It sat back from the road a ways and the lights were incredible. It was odd. There was no parking lot! It was just sand and sagebrush. We saw no other cars, but someone was inside because we could see motion and movement through the windows. Paul noted there was no driveway for an entrance. I remarked, "Who would build a store without an egress or a parking lot?" We sat on the shoulder of the highway in front of the store for some minutes until Paul said, "This is a waste of time," and he pulled back onto the road.
