They did it. Despite a few bumps in the road, Gareth Southgate has steered an England side to the final of a major competition for the first time in 55 years. Mark and Andros reflect upon a memorable night for the nation in the company of Harry Maguire, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Declan Rice and, of course, Neil Diamond.

After all the criticism regarding their supposedly cautious tactics, England hit their straps in Rome to dispatch Ukraine, with Harry Kane netting twice. Lee Dixon joins Mark and Andros to reflect upon the excellent job Gareth Southgate is doing with his talented side, with a Wembley date with Denmark awaiting on Wednesday.

We don't need to go into huge detail about what the lads are discussing today, do we? Suffice to say Mark and Andros are in celebratory mood in the company of Ian Wright. They reflect on the Wembley atmosphere, Gareth Southgate's tactical gamble, Sterling's fine display, the return of Kane, and how to beat their next opponents Ukraine. Then there are their tips for the remaining quarterfinals. We also hear from the England manager.

Who starts up top for England? Should they play three at the back? Does Mason Mount return straight into the starting XI following his isolation? Where did Wales go wrong? Should Gareth Bale have walked out of an interview when asked about his future following the Denmark defeat? As Wales bow out of Euro 2020 and England face a stern test against an old foe, Mark and Andros are joined by Robbie Earnshaw and Christian Ziege discuss all these matters and more. With those pesky Germans heading for Wembley in the last 16 of Euro 2020, Kalvin Phillips joins Mark and Andros from the England camp to preview the home side's chances. They talk about the history of the rivalry between the two nations, the double pivot, low blocks, clean sheets, Bielsa's influence and his fondness for murder ball! We also look ahead to the weekend's fixtures, including Wales's clash with Denmark in Amsterdam and Belgium against Portugal. It's job done for England and heartbreak for Scotland, as group D ends in dramatically a contrasting fashion for the home nations. Gary Neville joins Mark and Andros to reflect on where England need to improve to stand a chance against their next opponents - who are likely to be either France, Germany or Portugal. Ouch! They also discuss the Mason Mount situation, the relative merits of a back five as opposed to a back four, and what Gareth Southgate has got against Jadon Sancho. And we examine where it went wrong for Scotland after their fine display against England at Wembley on Friday.

As a young child, Nadia Nadim and her family fled the brutal Taliban regime in Afghanistan, after her father was executed for being a general in the army. Following a terrifying journey, they arrived in Denmark, where the kindness of a stranger set in motion a chain of events which would see them gain asylum. She has since represented Denmark nearly 100 times and played club football in several countries - including a hugely successful spell at Paris St Germain, for whom she scored 18 goals in 27 games. Here, she tells Mark Pougatch her remarkable story.

It was the first ever goalless draw between England and Scotland at Wembley, but that won't matter one jot to the visiting side, who kept their Euro dreams alive with a superb performance. We reflect upon how men in blue more than matched their counterparts, and might well be disappointed not to have won it. Scott Brown purrs over Billy Gilmour and the rest of the Scottish midfield, while Eni Aluko is philosophical about the lacklustre nature of England's performance. There are post-match contributions from Steve Clarke and Gareth Southgate too. We also preview Italy vs Wales and celebrate the genius that is Kevin De Bruyne.

As Wales take a massive stride towards the round of 16 with victory over Turkey, Mark and Andros get the thoughts of a jubilant John Hartson, and are joined by Ashley Cole and Ally McCoist ahead of England's clash with Scotland. It's been a decent start to Euro 2020 for England and Wales - with a win and a draw respectively. Gary Neville and Joe Ledley join Mark and Andros to assess the performances against Croatia and Switzerland. Gary sings the praises of Gareth Southgate, who threw us something of a curve ball with his selections for England's opener, while Joe is sweet on the impressive showings by Keiffer Moore and Dan James. We also hear from Raheem Sterling discuss Christian Eriksen's horrendous cardiac arrest during Denmark's game with Finland. Should the match have continued so soon after his collapse or not? Either way, the most important thing is that Christian appears to be on the road to recovery.

The time for talking is over - well, almost - as Mark and Andros have time for one last hurrah before the Euros begin in Rome on Friday evening. Joining them to chew the footballing fat are ex-Wales and Scotland internationals John Hartson and Alan McInally, who are quietly confident about their sides' respective chances. They discuss the importance of team spirit at international level, the likely stars of the tournament, how the home nations will line up and the realistic expectations of all three. We also hear from Gareth Bale and find out about Andros's week in Wales as he starts the process of getting his coaching badges.

Joining us just moments after Gareth Southgate announced his final 26 for Euro 2020, Conor Coady speaks to us before he's even celebrated his England call-up with his family and friends! Suffice to say, his phone was pinging ... The lads discuss what it means to him to represent his country at a major tournament, the mood among the players, a tricky trio of group matches and, of course, penalty practice. Mark and Andros also assess the squad and what it likely means in terms of formation, and reflect on Chelsea's magnificent Champions League triumph at the expense of Manchester City.

Patrick not only won the Euros with France in 2000, but also the World Cup, the Premier League (including 'that' undefeated season) and umpteen other trophies during an incredible career. He, Mark & Andros discuss the genius of Phil Foden, his rivalry with Roy Keane, Daniel Ek's designs on Arsenal, Karim Benzema's return to the national side and Patrick's desire to manage in England. We also preview the two European finals, and reflect on who's likely to make the final cut for England squad selection.

As the Premier League season reaches its conclusion, attention turns to Euro 2020, where there's plenty of home nation interest. And with Gareth Southgate set to announce his squad for the tournament, we're joined by Sven-Göran Eriksson, who managed England 2001 - 2006. Among the topics of discussion, the so-called Golden Generation, Phil Foden, Portuguese penalty pain and Sven's old friend, Roy Hodgson. It's FA Cup Final weekend, with Leicester meeting Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday evening. And our latest guest was schooled at the Blues' academy before going on an incredible journey with The Foxes. Andy King left Chelsea at 15 and headed to the Midlands, becoming the only player in the modern era to win League One, The Championship and the Premier League with the same club. We discuss Andy's unlikely scrabble for final tickets, Jamie Vardy's love of Red Bull, Wes Morgan's tattoo parlour, James Maddison's England chances, his differences of opinion with Claude Puel, Wales' hopes at Euro 2020 and his favourite ever goal scored by someone other than himself. No mean feat, bouncing straight back to the Premier League, but it's one Norwich City have achieved with aplomb, winning the title with a game to spare. Central to their success has been Todd Cantwell, who joins Mark and Andros to talk about boss Daniel Farke, the Canaries' desire to emulate Leeds, the pressures of being a homegrown player, scoring a goal with his head on all-fours and Ben Godfrey's unusual superstition - among many other things. We also discuss the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea, the European Super League and, of course, Jose Mourinho.

Having started his career at Manchester United, improbably won the Premier League with Leicester, and found himself clubless for most of this season, Danny Simpson knows all about the highs and lows of life as a professional footballer. Now at Bristol City and as happy as ever, he reflects on his career with Mark and Andros. The lads also reflect on a good week in Europe for English clubs, and preview the FA Cup semifinals.

International week has been and gone, with the home nations experiencing varying degrees of fortune. We're joined by comedian and Manchester United fan Kae Kurd, on 'VKR' duties for ITV these past few days, to discuss technology, Jesse Lingard, left backs, the most exciting player in the Premier League and a whole lot more. Now an England international, he talks frankly about his journey, which has encompassed longterm injuries at key moments, mental health issues and racial abuse - not to mention considerable success on the pitch. He knows how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness too! Mark and Andros also look ahead to a busy week of World Cup qualifying for the home nations, with all the England games live and exclusive on ITV.

We're off to sunny Spain for the latest episode of the podcast, as Mark and Andros are joined from Valencia by the hugely likeable Jose Enrique. The former Newcastle and Liverpool left back discusses the magnificent Magpies' fans, his brief stint in goal, missing out on the title with the Reds and their current injury woes, a newfound love of shopping in the supermarket, the genius of Luis Suarez and getting the better of Andros in an U21 game between Liverpool and Spurs! A real delight ...

From his humble origins plastering while playing non-league football in the northwest to scoring regularly in the top flight, Glenn Murray's story is one of grit, determination and, by his own admission, not a little luck. But he's made the most of his considerable skills too to become the consummate professional. Now at Nottingham Forest, the 37-year-old talks to Mark and Andros about juggling football and family life, his lack of pace, the physical rigours of the game, how he looks after his body - and his unlikely obsession with Uwe Rösler as a boy!

Nigel is the first manager we've welcomed to the podcast, and boy does he have some tales to tell. Having coached in all four divisions, he's become synonymous with miraculous escapes - starting with keeper Jimmy Glass's injury-time goal that secured Carlisle's place in the football league back in 1999. He reflects on that, life at Leicester and Watford, and the emotional and psychological demands of the modern game.

In a frank interview about his desperate struggles with gambling and alcohol addiction, Steven Caulker reflects upon his difficult journey with Mark and Andros - who experienced similar problems to his former teammate and good friend as a young player. From training by himself through being shunned by ex-colleagues and turned down by 70 clubs, he's suffered many a setback. But circumstances are looking up. Now plying his trade at Turkish side Alanyaspor, Steven is in a much better place mentally and, it seems, geographically - he spends his afternoons walking along the beach, playing his guitar and fishing! He also reveals how he's now in touch with current players at the highest level who are going through the same tribulations as he did.

At a time when we can only dream of watching our team from the stands, we get the perspective of Arsenal Fan TV founder, Robbie Lyle. Robbie is the godfather of online supporter channels, having launched AFTV back in 2012. It has been hugely successful - and become extremely influential. He, Mark and Andros talk Arsene Wenger, Mesut Ozil, the young Gunners who've turned the side's fortunes around, and why players should show a bit more respect to the fans - win, lose or draw.

With the hectic festive schedule almost over, Darren Bent joins the lads to discuss the Yuletide winners and losers. He reflects upon the highs-and-lows of his career - from tough times at Spurs through Sunderland success to the disappointment of missing out on three major international tournaments with England. They also discuss the merits of abstinence as professional athletes, the pitfalls of punditry and the dressing room fallout from thrashings on the pitch. Andros outs himself as a proper meanie in the Secret Santa stakes too ...

In a very entertaining conversation, Ben tells Mark and Andros how he came to become the Cycling Goalkeeper, why he started a matchday video diary at Watford, the number of gloves he gets through a season, and how best to cook a leg of lamb! They talk a bit of football, too, with frank discussions about his mental anxieties as a younger player, particularly during his time at Manchester United. Turns out he doesn't actually watch much footy these days, though, preferring instead two wheels and the freedom of the open road ...

In a candid interview about the challenging place he's at in his career, Jack Wilshere joins Mark and Andros from Dubai, where he's undergoing an intensive solo training programme as he endeavours to get playing club football again. One of the most gifted talents of his generation, he talks about what went wrong at West Ham, how his ongoing struggles with impact injuries have affected his mindset in matches, the Mezut Ozil situation, and his burning desire to rejoin his beloved Arsenal. They also talk England - with Jack predictably enthusiastic about Gareth Southgate's attacking options. There's also much debate about the best way to take a penalty, after Ivan Cavaleiro's 'unfortunate' effort for Fulham against Everton.

In a wee bonus episode, Andros and Mark are joined by Ally McCoist and Iain Dowie to reflect upon the contrasting fortunes of Scotland and Northern Ireland. It's fair to say that one of these gentleman is happy, the other is not ...

England captain Harry Kane joins the lads for an exclusive interview ahead of a trio of matches against the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and Iceland. They reflect on Harry's various loan spells as he tried to establish himself as a first team regular at Spurs, his new-found fondness for assists, and a 20 man brawl on a pitch in Mexico with Andros at the epicentre! We also assess Scotland and Northern Ireland's chances in their crunch qualifiers against Serbia and Slovakia, and dissect another weekend of VAR controversy.

Following his wonder goal against Manchester City, Michail Antonio joins Mark and Andros to celebrate his excellent form and West Ham's strong start to the season. They also discuss his loathing of VAR, reflect upon the social impact being made by Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling, and compare their respective FIFA ratings! Then, of course, there's 'that' comeback against Spurs, who Michail fancies to do very well this season ...

As well revealing Andros's nickname - which is genius - the pair also reminisce about their Spurs' days, discuss the pressures of international football and the crazy start to the Premier League season. We hear from Ryan Giggs on Gareth Bale and there's a review of all the weekend madness too.

Following his glorious goal at Old Trafford during Soccer Aid, Filly joins the lads to discuss all manner of things - from his love of Chunkz and Crystal Palace to the return of Gareth Bale. He also takes Andros on in a quiz, with mixed results. We also reflect upon another weekend of exhilarating action and controversy - including the retaken penalty at the Theatre of Dreams. And Andros reveals his first Talk Of The Townsend - the young player that's really caught his eye in the open rounds of the season.

We're off - and it's Spurs versus the Chicago Bulls in the first episode of the brand new ITV Football Football Show, as Andros passes judgment on The Last Dance and Tottenham All Or Nothing documentaries. He also gives his verdict on the Chelsea away kit - which looks suspiciously close to Palace livery - and remembers a feisty training ground clash with a former fitness coach. The lads also reflect on the Phil Foden / Mason Greenwood affair, revisit Andros's time in lockdown and preview the start of the Premier League season.

All good things must come to an end, and as is so often the case for England, Euro 96 concluded in the most agonising of fashions. When Andreas Moller blasted the winning penalty past David Seaman to put Germany into the final, hopes were dashed and fears realised. Those 30 years of hurt were, alas, to continue. Mark speaks to German midfielder Steffen Freund, who played virtually every minute of the semi-final before picking up an injury in the dying throes of extra-time that ruled him out of the big one. ITV's commentator-in-chief Clive Tyldesley also joins us with fond memories of the late Brian Moore.

As Britain baked beneath glorious sunshine, so Euro 96 really started to hot up - and with it the levels of expectation across the country. With the group phase done, eight teams remained. England's quarter final opponents were Spain, who - while not in the same class as more recent Iberian vintages - were nonetheless a formidable proposition. Following their performance against the Dutch, meanwhile, the host nation must surely have been fancying their chances of going all the way. Two of the main protagonists that day were David Seaman and Stuart Pearce, who join Mark to discuss their memories of that day and the tournament as a whole.

After a shaky start against the Swiss, England got their Euro 96 up-and-running with a 2-0 victory over Scotland - though things could have been very different had it not been for David Seaman’s elbow and Paul Gascoigne’s Midas touch. Nonetheless, Terry Venables’s side went into their final Group A match against the Netherlands with a spring in their stride. What happened next, of course, is one of those JFK moments - where anyone with the remotest fondness for English football remembers what they were doing when the hosts put four past the Dutch at Wembley. It was unquestionably one of the finest performances by an England side for at least a generation. Two people with contrasting memories of that day are Teddy Sheringham and Jordi Cruyff, who subsequently became teammates at Manchester United. Both joined Mark via video link in isolation to share their recollections of that day.

When you think about all the great grudge matches in football - Germany against Holland, River Plate & Boca Juniors, El Clásico, of course - England against Scotland is pretty close to the top of the pile. So when they were drawn to play each other in Group A at Euro 96, there was an audible gasp in the auditorium, not to mention a few nervous laughs, given the history of the fixture. It’s fair to say there was plenty at stake when the teams met at Wembley in their second match of the tournament - with both having drawn their opening fixture. And with the game being replayed in full on Sunday at 6.45 on ITV4 and the ITV Hub, that encounter is very much the focus of this episode. On 8th June 1996, Tony Adams led his England team out to face Switzerland in the championship curtain-raiser at Wembley. 77,000 fans saw the spoils shared after Kubilay Turkyilmaz’s late penalty cancelled out Alan Shearer’s first half opener. Two players on opposing sides that day were Darren Anderton and Ramon Vega. They’d later become teammates at Spurs, of course, so it was a great pleasure to reunite them via video link to share their memories of Euro 96 - and that game in particular - with Mark.

By Tony's own admission, it was the year that changed his life - and possibly even saved it.
