Also, we hear from three of our Missionary partners and what hope God will do in 2025 within our Missions Ministry.

October 13: In week 28 of our Genesis series, we look at Genesis 18:1-15 and learn, that those with faith enjoy a friendship with God.

October 6: In studying Genesis 17, we see that The God who required circumcision of the flesh also requires circumcision of your heart.

September 29: In studying Genesis 16, we learn in the midst of life’s many problems, trust in the God of merciful promise.

September 22: In week 25 of our Genesis series, guest Pastor Dan Turner. from Veritas Community Church, led us through Genesis 15 to teach us that The Lord fortifies His fearful people by revealing to them His faithful promises.

September 15: As we continue into our 24 weeks of Genesis, Dr. Jeremy Kimble leads us through Genesis 14:1-24 to learn that God accomplishes his purposes and we trust His plan.

September 8: In week 23 of our Genesis series, we look at Genesis 13:1-18 to see in the Christian life, God helps us walk by faith, not by sight.

September 1: In week 22 of our Genesis series, our Director of Groups & Classes, Bryson Jackson, leads us through Genesis 12:10-20 to teach us when we stray God’s promises stay the same.

August 25: This week, we participated in Vision Sunday; through the lens of Acts 14:21-23, we examined what The Lord is calling UBC to in this next season of ministry.

August 18: As we continue our Genesis series, in week 21, we look at Genesis 12:1-9 and learn that the faithfulness of God to you compels your life of faith in Him.

August 11: In studying from Genesis 11:10-32 in week 20 of our Genesis series, we are reminded to praise God for the way He works people, places, and times together for our good calling and blessing.

August 4: In studying from Genesis 11:1-9 in week 19 of our Genesis series, we learn that we should live for the fame of the Lord’s name, rather than the fame of our own names through the story of the Tower of Babel.

July 28: In studying genealogy from Genesis 10 in week 18 of our Genesis series, we learn that because God is the God of the nations, we must be a church for the nations.

July 21: Pastor Jason leads us through Genesis 9:18-28 in week 17 of our Genesis series to understand that the shameful acts of sinful man cannot overcome the covenant promises of our gracious God.

July 14: As we study Genesis 9:1-17 in week 16 of our Genesis series, we see that because God values life, we are to value life.

July 7: Pastor Jason Wing leads us through Genesis 8 in week 15 of our Genesis series, showing us that worship is the right response when you remember the Lord who remembered you.

June 30: In week 14 of our Genesis series, our Lead Pastor, Jason Wing, teaches through Genesis 7:1-24 to show us how being in the path of God’s wrath leads to death, but to be in the place of God’s grace leads to life.

June 23: Dr. Jeremy Kimble leads us through Genesis 6:9-22 in week 13 of our Genesis series to teach us how sin brings death and faith brings life, and therefore we should choose life.

June 16: Watch & listen as our Director of Worship & Media Arts, Phil Wing, leads us through a biblical lens of fatherhood by teaching through Luke 1:11-17.

June 9: In week 12 of our Genesis series, our Pastor of Care and Connections, Bill Letcher, leads us through Genesis 6:1-8 and explains how God’s purpose and plan will continue despite the actions of mankind.

June 2: In week 11 of our Genesis series, Dr. Jeremy Kimble teaches Genesis 5:1-32, leading us through the history of the world, seen through God’s work and people, and how we are part of that history.

May 26: Our Director of Groups, Bryson Jackson, teaches Genesis 4:1-16 in week 10 of our Genesis Series, leading us through five characteristics identifying with Christ that empower us to say no to sin.

May 19: In week nine of our Genesis series, Dr. Scott Dixon leads us through Genesis 3:8-24 and points out three declarations from these passages: The Curse, The Cure, & The Caveat.

May 12: Dr. Scott Dixon teaches through Genesis 3:1-9 and walks through four acts we see through the passages: The Attitude, The Lie, The Tree, and The Call.

May 05: UBC had the opportunity to host Compassion International, one of our partnering ministries. Listen as Jim Corbin, our Director of Missions and Mercy Ministries, and others share God’s compassion for us and how we can show compassion to help release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
